Naruto: My Bedroom Connects to Rin Nohara 14 Years Ago

Chapter 5: Living with Nohara Rin Across Time and Space

"I'm not sure. But I'll help you find out later..." Ishikawa shook his head, pretending to be apologetic.

Although he knew many of the inside stories and even more classified information, it didn't mean he needed to reveal everything right now.

As the saying goes, telling information without a clear source is just asking for trouble!

Even if he had a separate world to rely on as a barrier, it wouldn't matter. He only had one life. Ishikawa hadn't forgotten about the mastermind hidden deep within the ninja world! He also couldn't fully trust Nohara Rin, no matter how much of a protagonist filter she seemed to have.

Besides, Ishikawa still needed that information to maximize his own benefit. He had to tread carefully!

"Well then, if possible, I'd like to ask Miss Rin to help me with my training," Ishikawa said, shamelessly making his request.

Even though Nohara Rin was a year younger than him, she far surpassed him in both strength and knowledge.

Who would believe she could already perform medical ninjutsu at 11 years old? Ishikawa wasn't about to miss this opportunity to improve himself...

"Alright. And I'll keep it a secret to avoid causing any unforeseen changes on your side that might harm Konoha." Nohara Rin nodded and promised to keep quiet.

Whether out of personal reasons or for the sake of the village, she had to protect this secret!

Besides, this was Kakashi's student—there was no way she could refuse his request.

Rin's cooperative attitude delighted Ishikawa, and he immediately brought up training techniques such as tree climbing and water walking for chakra control...

He knew his limits. Ishikawa wasn't foolish enough to try learning A-rank techniques like advanced medical ninjutsu or the Mystical Palm Technique.

"Well, you should probably go change first..."

"Uh—right." Ishikawa finally realized, his face turning red. He quickly grabbed his clothes and darted into the bathroom.

"Obito, Minato-sensei... I'll definitely change our fate!" Watching Ishikawa's flustered retreat, Rin smiled softly and made her vow.

"And Kakashi... wait for us."

--

A few minutes later.

Now fully dressed, Ishikawa returned to the wall, formed hand seals, and gathered chakra at the soles of his feet, preparing to begin tree climbing again.

But at that moment, his expression shifted slightly, a strange glint appearing in his eyes.

What's going on? Why can I draw so much chakra?

I was completely exhausted before I got home, but now I feel almost fully recovered! And... my chakra control seems much better too...

Feeling the stable chakra flow beneath his feet, Ishikawa was stunned. His original intention was to get Nohara Rin's help correcting his posture and method, then train slowly from there. But now...

"This is the feeling!"

Eyes lighting up, Ishikawa raised his left foot and stepped onto the wall. Chakra instantly locked him in place.

Without hesitation, his right foot followed. Second step. Third step—smooth and steady.

"It seems like you don't need my help after all. Your chakra control is still a bit rough, but climbing trees is no problem," Rin said, watching with mild surprise.

"Well… actually, I mainly wanted to ask about the chakra control technique for water walking." Ishikawa scratched his head, offering a quick excuse while thinking hard.

The only change he could think of was this strange, space-warping room. Could it be… that chakra recovery was accelerated here?

But then, what about his sudden improvement in chakra control? He had been stuck on tree climbing for a full week, and now he succeeded in one try!

Could this room have a training bonus effect?

--

"Is that so? There are no pools or lakes here, so I'll first explain the chakra control techniques for treading water verbally..." Nohara Rin didn't think much of it and began explaining seriously.

"Because the flow and buoyancy of water are irregular and unstable, controlling chakra over water requires precise, continuous adjustments..."

Seeing Nohara Rin so focused and earnest in her teaching, Ishikawa immediately filled a basin with water and began to listen and practice at the same time.

Although the water in the basin provided only minimal buoyancy, the difficulty of practice increased several times. But given the current limitations, Ishikawa had no choice but to make do.

It was just right—he could use this chance to consume chakra and test whether the room had any training bonuses or accelerated chakra recovery effects.

"Bang…"

Over half an hour later, as the basin tipped over again, Ishikawa collapsed to the ground, exhausted and gasping for breath.

"No, I can't go on... this is my limit..."

Looking at the water splashed across the floor, Ishikawa waved his hand weakly, breathing heavily, doubt clouding his eyes. This doesn't make sense!

Even though this training session had far exceeded the intensity of his previous attempts, it still didn't match his expectations.

There was no sign of a so-called training bonus or rapid chakra recovery, even though his body had clearly felt different earlier!

What's going on? Was I wrong about everything?

"Wait..." Suddenly, a realization struck him. His eyes lit up with joy as he turned to look at the door behind Nohara Rin, with a burning gaze fixed on the door handle.

If I had to say what's different from before... it would be that!

Recalling the moment he was nearly electrocuted by the door earlier, Ishikawa's expression turned firm.

"Fortune favors the bold. Let's risk it!" After taking two deep breaths, Ishikawa suddenly stood up and marched toward the door again.

'No one's going to die from this anyway, so why not try? Maybe I can turn my fate!'

He was already sick of being a background character without a cheat—who wants to be a salted fish when there's a shortcut to success?

"Are you crazy? Don't!!" Seeing Ishikawa getting closer and closer to her door, Nohara Rin cried out instinctively. She still clearly remembered the experience of being electrocuted just moments ago.

But Ishikawa, having made up his mind, didn't stop. Despite her concern, he reached out and grabbed the door handle without hesitation.

"Sizzle… Crack…"

The moment his hand clamped down, the electric shock surged through his body once again. The sharp pain burrowed into his very bones, lighting up every nerve in his brain.

Half a second—no, maybe even less—and Ishikawa's limbs locked up. He collapsed like a dead fish, twitching on the ground…

"What the hell is this idiot trying to do?" Nohara Rin immediately rushed to his side and stared at Ishikawa, who was still faintly twitching and couldn't help but complain.

He knew he'd get shocked—and he still did it. Is this guy dumb?

Even though she was confused and frustrated, she couldn't just ignore him. After all, he was Kakashi's student.

Rin formed hand seals and activated green glowing chakra in her palms—preparing to use the Mystical Palm Technique to heal him.

But right at that moment—

Just as Nohara Rin was about to touch Ishikawa's chest, his body suddenly turned translucent, and then began to fade entirely. Not just him—the furniture, tables, chairs, and everything else that belonged to the strange version of the room also started to vanish.

In the blink of an eye, everything reverted to Nohara Rin's original, familiar bedroom.

She sat frozen in place.

"Was everything just now… a dream?"
