Naruto: Reborn as Zoro

The black market is really good at gathering information because of their vast information network. Zoro goes into a small town to buy information there, but Jiraiya is staying in the forest far from the town.

Jiraiya says that the reason hidden villages don't usually buy information in black market is because while they buy information, the information of them being there is also being sold.

Their missions are mostly secretive, so they can't expose their whereabouts just to get information. It can reveal their missions and worse, it can make their enemies attack them when they aren't prepared, so they need to be careful with everything they do.

But Zoro doesn't have any problem with that. He doesn't care if his enemies know where he is. If they attack him, then he will simply fight them back. They are the ones who should be ready to die if they come to attack him.

His enemies are mostly just criminals anyway and there aren't many that specifically target him, so there aren't many that will buy information about him. That's why he doesn't have any problem with his location being exposed.

Also, he is a bounty hunter, so he is the one who hunts people, not the other way around. So far, only a group has been persistently chasing him and buying information about him. Only Akatsuki bought all the information about him, but even they failed to kill him.

That's why Zoro doesn't care if Otogakure knows he buys information about them, unlike Jiraiya. He was involved in their attack on Konoha, so it's not strange that he wants revenge. After all, he is also infamous for attacking Sunagakure alone when they framed him.

But because of this, Otogakure is prepared for his attack. They've already waited for him when he arrives in the base where they keep the kidnapped kids. Almost all of their bases have been prepared to fight him.

So when he arrives at the target base, he is quickly surrounded by many ninjas. But he also has prepared for this. That's why Jiraiya moves separately from him since they left the town where he bought the information about Otogakure.

Thanks to Otogakure only being wary of Zoro, Jiraiya can sneak into their base more easily because almost all of their ninjas leave the base to fight Zoro. After all, they can't just send some ninjas to fight the infamous Ninja Hunter.

"Wow, you sure have prepared a grand welcome for me. I feel honored." Zoro grins while looking around the forest.

There's no one in sight, but he can sense a lot of presence hidden everywhere. They still hide even when he has said that he knows they are here. Then suddenly, a massive explosion happens in the place where he stands because the enemies have planted a lot of explosive traps around the area.

"Do we get him?" They peek from their hiding places, still don't dare to come out even after their trap caught Zoro.

Suddenly, some slash attacks fly at very high speeds toward the tree branches where the ninjas hide. Many of them can't react on time and get cut in half along with the trees that get cut into many parts.

*BAM! BAM! BAM!*

The tree parts are falling onto the ground, creating strong impacts that send the dust flying around. They also trigger the explosive traps that are planted around there, so there are many big explosions that happen because of the falling woods.

"What a sloppy trap." Zoro appears as the smoke from the explosion that engulfed him starts to disappear. He is holding 2 swords on both hands and his whole body is covered with Armament Haki that protected him from the explosion.

The ninjas are surprised that their powerful explosive trap didn't affect Zoro at all. They've heard that he is ridiculously durable, but they never thought that it was this ridiculous. He doesn't even get scratched.

Zoro doesn't waste more time and immediately flashes around to kill the Otogakure ninjas. They are just pawns, after all, so he won't get anything valuable from them. He doubts they even know where Orochimaru is, so no need to waste time on them.

All of Otogakure ninjas are cruel people who have assisted Orochimaru on his human experiments, so Zoro doesn't have any reason to spare them. Besides, killing them is easier than just knocking them out, so he just does it.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya has sneaked into the base that also acts as a laboratorium. He summons some small toads to help him explore the whole facility because it's big and he needs to be quick. His summoned toads are also strong enough to defeat the remaining Oto ninjas in the base that aren't as strong as the ones outside.

It doesn't take long for Jiraiya to find the prison where they keep the kidnapped kids. There are also many other people of various ages who have been captured before the kids. Some of them have been used in experiments, so they look traumatized.

There are even those who have died but are still being kept in the prison. They seem to be beaten to death, probably used as examples to make the others obedient. That's why they look scared when Jiraiya comes because they thought he would take them for experiment.

Jiraiya tries to calm them down, but it doesn't work because his face doesn't look convincing. Luckily, when he says he is from Konoha and is here to save them, the kidnapped Konoha kids quickly believe him because one of them recognizes him.

It makes the other prisoners start to believe that he won't harm them. They even start begging him to save them too which he says he'll do, so he asks them to calm down first and as he has predicted, it doesn't work.

Jiraiya sighs and quickly throws Minato's marked kunai onto the ground. Soon afterwards, Minato appears there with Fugaku and some Anbu ninjas. He quickly gathered them as soon as he felt his marked kunai being planted on the ground and teleported here.

"You found them very quickly, sensei."

"Yeah, thanks to the rude kid. But I don't know if everyone we're looking for is here. So you need to check them first. I also haven't explored the whole facility, so if some are missing, they might be placed there."

Minato nods and orders the Anbu to check. The Anbu members quickly release the prisoners from the prison before checking the list of the missing kids. As they thought, some that are on the list are missing.

However, the kidnapped Konoha kids say that everyone who came with them is all here, which confuses the rescuers. Fugaku then assumes that the other kids are being taken to another facility or there is another prison here.

So Minato immediately sends some Anbu members to explore the whole facility in case there is another prison where they detain the other kidnapped kids.

"Where is Zoro-kun?" Minato asks Jiraiya.

"Why are you looking for me? You miss me?" Zoro comes right when Minato asks. He has finished all Otogakure ninjas that came out to fight him. They were too weak for him that the fight with them couldn't even be a warm up.

"How'd you find this prison's location already? This place is like a maze. I'm surprised you aren't lost." Jiraiya is really confused.

"Why do you think I'll get lost?" Instead of Zoro, it's Torao who answers because he feels insulted.

With Torao's ability, they can move through the shadow. Zoro can point their location by sensing their presence and Torao just needs to move toward that direction through the shadow. That's why they can arrive very quickly.

Minato wants to thank Zoro, but Zoro suddenly walks past him toward an unknown woman that looks very sick. Everyone is puzzled by his action, then he surprises them when he suddenly kicks the woman very strongly until she crashes onto the wall and even breaks it.

"WHAT?!"

"ZORO-KUN!?"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Everyone is really shocked by what Zoro suddenly does, but he ignores them.

"Do you think you can fool me? I can smell your shitty snake blood, Orochimaru."
