A few hours after the attack on the Suna camp and the capture of prisoners, Yamamoto addressed a group of ninja.

"You all are responsible for guarding the Suna prisoners," he commanded.

One of the leading Jōnin stepped forward and replied, "Yes, Lord Yamamoto, rest assured."

With a nod, Yamamoto made his way toward his tent.

The prisoner holding area was constructed 2 km adjacent to the Iwa camp, positioned strategically so that Iwa forces could respond quickly to any escape attempts while also ensuring that no information about the Iwa camp would leak if prisoners managed to flee.

This setup was all part of Yamamoto's meticulous planning to continuously thin down any kind of opposition of elder council and their ninja having malicious thoughts.

As he reached the Iwa camp, Yamamoto created a clone and sent it toward the Suna direction.

Meanwhile, as the Suna main forces advanced toward their side, the Kazekage received a communication message.

Soon after, Hiruzen's clone, acting as the Kazekage, pointed out the locations that Yamamoto's clone had marked to direct Suna forces toward the prisoner camp.

Seeing this, the Kazekage carefully devised a plan. He sent Chiyo, leading a squad, to follow the trail while he moved toward the Iwa main camp.

His objective was to stall Iwa's forces, restrict their S-rank shinobi, and apply pressure through strategy rather than brute force, while Chiyo will led her squad to rescue the Suna ninja.

As Yamamoto spoke, he led a Jōnin squad toward Chiyo's squad, intercepting them. At the same time, Kirihara led 10 elite Jōnin to intercept the Kazekage.

Standing in front of Chiyo, Yamamoto spoke with a tone of contempt and disdain, "Old hag, put down the prisoner, or your fate will be the same as his."

Chiyo's expression darkened, wrinkles slightly more evident on her face. Releasing a wave of killing intent, she spoke coldly, "What did you say, you brat? Do you have a death wish?"

Yamamoto smirked. "No, the one who will die is you, not me. Put him down and let's negotiate, or I'll forcefully put you in your place."

Chiyo narrowed her eyes, releasing her chakra pressure in response. "Try if you have the guts, boy. I'll teach you the proper way to speak to your elders."

Without hesitation, she unfurled a scroll, and ten puppets sprang out, forming a defensive formation around her.

The Suna ninja immediately took their battle stances, while Yamamoto's Jōnin team readied themselves.

Yamamoto smirked, his expression turning serious. "Very well then. I've recently developed a few new jutsu—try them for me, Chiyo."

Lava began to pour from his body, swirling around him before solidifying into an ancient-looking armor.

The heat distorted the air around him as he activated his technique:

"Lava Style: Chakra Mode."

From head to toe, his body was covered in hardened lava armor, exuding intense heat.

With a sudden tilt forward, he burst toward Chiyo at astonishing speed, propelled by a controlled explosion of lava from his feet.

In an instant, Yamamoto appeared in front of Chiyo. Reacting swiftly, Chiyo sprang into action.

Her ten puppets moved at incredible speed, one of them intercepting Yamamoto's lava-coated fist.

The impact sent shockwaves through the air, and though the puppet successfully deflected the attack, its arm was scorched and melted from the intense heat.

Yamamoto took a step back, smirking. "Puppets and poison… I've heard long ago that Chiyo of Suna has unparalleled mastery in both. Let's see if you live up to your reputation—don't disappoint me, Chiyo."

Without another word, both sides clashed, unleashing a flurry of attacks. The difference in strength soon became apparent.

The Suna ninja, burdened by the need to protect the captured prisoner, found themselves holding back.

This hesitation placed them at a clear disadvantage, as Yamamoto's forces pressed forward with relentless aggression.

Yamamoto, seeing the poison that had dissolved against his armor of lava, even then chose not to fight in close range.

Instead, he quickly weaved hand seals, and chakra erupted around him.

"Lava Style: Lava Swirling Blast!"

Multiple bursts of lava balls, swirling with rotational force, blasted toward the puppets with compressed lava energy.

As they collided, the puppets, without holding back, channeled chakra through themselves and defended against the attack.

However, the sheer impact sent them flying ten meters back, while the ground beneath them dampened from the heat and melted.

Seeing the destructive power of his jutsu, Chiyo broke into a sweat. He's like a veteran ninja at the Kage level... she thought.

Yamamoto wasted no time, weaving more hand seals before pressing his hand onto the ground.

"Lava Style: Volcanic Earth Eruption!"

The area around Chiyo and her puppets trembled violently before bursts of volcanic magma erupted beneath them.

The sudden surge forced Chiyo to reposition while simultaneously commanding her puppets to evade.

This large-area damage effect is too much... she thought. It's just like the Kazekage's sand techniques—his ability to manipulate sand weakens my puppets, and now this lava is doing the same!

Yamamoto then unsheathed his sword and, with a burst of speed, launched himself toward Chiyo.

The moment her puppets moved to intercept him, he activated his Sage Eyes, a technique created by Hiruzen.

This jutsu allowed the user to see chakra and natural energy by concentrating a specific amount of chakra into their eyes at the same frequency as the surrounding energy.

Through his Sage Eyes, Yamamoto clearly saw the chakra threads connecting the puppets.

Without hesitation, he swung his lava-covered sword, slicing through one puppet after another.

Chiyo, seeing four of her puppets dismantled so swiftly, quickly recalled them while maintaining her distance.

But Yamamoto didn't give her any time to recover—he wove more hand seals.

Massive bursts of lava erupted skyward, forming large fireballs. As they grew in size, they rained down upon Chiyo.

She quickly commanded her remaining puppets to defend, but three more of them were utterly destroyed under the large-scale meteor shower.

Without pausing, Yamamoto executed another technique.

"Lava Style: Great Eruption Wave!"

A tsunami-like wave of molten lava surged forward, sweeping across the battlefield.

Five elite Suna ninja and ten Jonin were caught in the wave, unable to escape in time. Chiyo's remaining puppets were also swallowed by the tide of lava.

As the lava wave crashed down, Yamamoto moved forward, gripping his sword.

With a single slash, coated in molten energy, he severed Chiyo's chakra strings. Then, in an instant, he appeared before her, his sword aimed at her.

Chiyo quickly pulled out a kunai to parry the strike.

Yamamoto's voice was cold and firm. "Give up, Chiyo. If you don't surrender, I will not stop—I will kill every single one of your remaining ninja here."

Chiyo's face twisted in rage. "You think you can defeat me, brat?!" she snapped.

Without responding, Yamamoto activated Earth Breathing, causing Earth-style chakra to erupt around him.

The ground shrank beneath his feet as his chakra density increased, making the very air around him heavier.

Then, in an explosive burst of speed, he charged forward.

With a mighty downward slash of his sword—

BOOM!

A powerful shockwave erupted. Chiyo, along with her kunai, was forced to her knees as the sheer weight of Yamamoto's attack compressed the ground around her. She gasped in shock.

What jutsu is this…?! she thought, her breath ragged. The Super Heavy-Weight Jutsu of Onoki?!

Yamamoto remained silent. Stepping back, he took a deep breath and roared—

"AAAH!"

His arms bulged with strength, chakra surging through his muscles. Then, he slashed at Chiyo once more.

This time, Chiyo couldn't even react. Her kunai shattered instantly, and the force of the impact broke the bones in her arms. She let out a sharp cry of pain.

Aaaargh!

Before she could recover, Yamamoto pressed his sword to her neck. With a swift hand seal, he sealed her chakra—capturing her.
