Chapter 264: Chapter 263 : A Utopia Far Away from the World!!

In the center of the pink-colored lake, a vortex suddenly appeared.

The violent water flow stirred up raging tides, crashing against the rocks on the shore and spraying waves into the air.

Boom!

With a loud roar, tens of thousands of tons of lake water were lifted into the sky.

Amidst the mist of water, a humanoid figure appeared, dressed in a white long-sleeve tuxedo and loose black pants, exuding an elegant aura.

His skin was pale, almost resembling ash, and on his head, there was a crown-like structure extending from the back of his head to the front, resembling horns. He stepped through the dark cracks in the void, as though walking on a staircase.

He looked like a god, one who controlled the order of the world, and the air around him trembled as he passed.

The mysterious intruder was none other than Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, in his true form—not in the human form of Jigen.

However, after looking around, he couldn't help but furrow his brow, showing a hint of confusion. He muttered, "This isn't right... Did I take the wrong path?"

What greeted his eyes was a vast expanse of lush, untouched forest.

Not far from the lake, there was an abandoned ancient city ruin, similar to the one he had encountered before. It had also been abandoned for a long time and was covered in thick vines.

This place seemed almost identical to the place he had been before.

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, feeling puzzled, wanted to find the answer. He raised his head to look at the sky. The sun, giving off a warm yet somewhat blinding light, was still hanging high above.

But it was this very glance that revealed something to him. A cold smile crept across his lips.

In this sky, there was only the "sun."

But the true sky could never have just the sun. Even during the day, stars would only be obscured by the sunlight, not disappear completely.

There was a problem!

Byakugan!

Veins, thick and grotesque, bulged around the eye sockets.

With a 360-degree view, unobstructed by any blind spots, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's vision was enhanced, instantly seeing through layers of disguise.

The sun hanging in the sky was, in reality, some kind of artificial device.

The true "sky" was actually a thick, several hundred meters of rock crust, incredibly hard. Beyond that was the vast, endless expanse of stars, and a massive, blue planet.

Clearly, he had not arrived at the wrong place. Instead, through the lake, he had directly entered the interior of that satellite.

"Hmph."

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki snorted coldly, expressing his disdain.

Through the Byakugan, he noticed something beneath the ruins of the ancient city—an 'apparatus' of some sort. A voice in his mind seemed to be guiding him toward it.

Without hesitation, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki transformed into a sharp arrow in an instant.

Boom!

In the blink of an eye, a powerful shockwave erupted.

The roaring air seemed like a giant dragon, streaking through the sky, leaving cracks in its wake.

Arriving above the ancient city ruins, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki gazed down, his brow furrowing. Disgust and repulsion flashed in his eyes.

Beneath the ruins, blood-colored roots of some kind of plant spread across the ground, completely exposed to the sunlight. They looked like veins in the human body, wildly growing throughout the city, filling every corner.

But what truly disturbed him were the tangled, blood-colored roots.

They were covered in clusters of growths that resembled tumors from some kind of disease. Some of these tumors had bloomed like flower buds, revealing flower petals that looked disturbingly like female genitalia.

These repulsive flower-like structures were pulsing, almost as if they were 'breathing', oozing brown-green pus from within.

Otsutsuki Isshiki's forehead veins bulged, and his eyelids uncontrollably twitched.

He thought he had visited many planets and had seen it all, believing that nothing could shake his state of mind anymore. But reality slapped him in the face.

He had never seen anything as strange, disturbing, and mentally overwhelming as this. It was so bizarre that it made him feel physically uncomfortable, challenging his mental limits.

Just one glance at it sent his mind into a spiral, like being thrown into a vortex and spinning thousands of times in a short period. He felt dizzy, as though pricked by needles.

At that moment, the voice calling in his mind became even clearer.

"Father of Devils; Lord of Deviants; Source of Curses.."

"Father of Devils; Lord of Deviants; Source of Curses.."

"Father of Devils; Lord of Deviants; Source of Curses.."

It was the call of Otsutsuki Shibai, and it was close. Isshiki gritted his teeth, enduring the sharp pain in his mind like being stabbed with needles, trying to locate the source of the voice.

Soon, he found it—the blood-red plant roots scattered across the ruins of the ancient city. They all came from a deep chasm that looked like a crack in the earth.

When he reached the edge of the chasm, Isshiki inexplicably felt a chill in his chest, as if something life-threatening was about to happen, which made him halt.

"Father of Devils; Lord of Deviants; Source of Curses.."

The voice called again, louder this time.

The thought of coming into close contact with Otsutsuki Shibai, the god of the Otsutsuki clan, made his breathing more erratic. His face reddened, veins bulging, and he looked almost crazed, as though consumed by obsession. "It's fine. This is Otsutsuki Shibai, it's the god calling me!"

Under the influence of the voice that kept urging him in his mind, Isshiki no longer hesitated. He jumped into the chasm.

In an instant, the surrounding darkness, silent and without light, completely swallowed him up.

He didn't know how much time passed.

In a dazed state, Isshiki's senses returned. A cold, chilling wind brushed against him, as if mixed with soft whispers.

Gradually, his thoughts began to clear. As his consciousness regained control over his body, Isshiki slowly opened his eyes.

The first thing he saw was a mist of deep red.

It seemed like some kind of living creature, coiled above, slowly wriggling.

As his mind cleared, Otsutsuki Isshiki suddenly flipped over and stood up. He didn't bother checking his condition and quickly scanned his surroundings to understand where he was.

The first thing that caught his eye was the pinkish mist swirling around, much lighter than the one above. The space was dim, with thin light filtering through. What drew his attention the most, however, was a massive, human-shaped twisted statue, wrapped in blood-red branches.

The statue was sitting cross-legged, with its hands in a lotus position as if praying. Its facial expression was horrific and twisted, resembling a demon. Nine eyes arranged horizontally were tightly shut.

The blood-red branches seemed to have completely merged with the statue, growing from all parts of its body, binding it. Sickening brown growths sprouted all over the statue, blooming into blood-red, eerie flowers. From the flower's center, which resembled a female body, a brown-green pus oozed continuously.

"Is this... the shell of the Ten Tails?"

Otsutsuki Isshiki stared at the strange statue, a familiar feeling rising within him.

As a member of the Otsutsuki clan, he recognized the statue. It was the "God Tree," the shell of the Ten Tails, also called the Outer Path Golem.

But the blood-red branches—what were those?

Then, Otsutsuki Isshiki noticed something else. Beneath the "Outer Path Golem," there was actually a town.

The architecture and layout were similar to the ruins of the ancient cities he had seen before. The difference was that this town wasn't a ruin—it had a lively atmosphere. He could sense a large amount of chakra, clearly indicating that people lived there.

"Welcome, stranger from another world."

A small boy in a white robe suddenly appeared, as if from thin air, without any warning.

Otsutsuki Isshiki's heart skipped a beat. His pupils shrank. He turned toward the voice, looking at the boy who had appeared behind him. "Who are you? And where is this place?"

"My name is Otsutsuki Toneri."

The boy, expressionless with pale skin, his eyes tightly shut, spoke softly: "As for where this is... it is the 'Ideal Land, far from the mundane world.'"
