Naruto, The Perfect Shinobi

On the side lines of Training grounds one;

"Well done, Naruto" said Tsunade with a wide proud smile on her face as Naruto stood in front of her.

"Thanks, mum." said Naruto with a smile.

"Can you two tell me what just happened?" Hiruzen asked the pair with a questioning tone. you can't really blame him. one of his most prominent Ninja was just defeated by a eight years old newly graduated genin.

"My son defeated the ninja of your choosing, sensei. That is what happened." said Tsunade with teasing undertone.

"You know what I am asking about, Tsunade." said Hiruzen with sight irritation in his voice.

"He severely underestimated me, Saru-jiji. So, I caught him off guard and pressed on not giving him a chance to counter. If Hatake-san took me seriously from the beginning, I would have had a hard time, let alone win." said Naruto in a matter of a fact but humble tone.

"That may be true, but Kakashi is a jonin with war experience. How did you do that, Naruto-kun?" asked Choza who was standing beside a silent Inoichi and Shikaku.

"Well, I didn't use everything in my arsenal, so did Hatake-san. He didn't come at me with the intent to kill like I did. I also used fog and dust to render his Shaningan eye almost useless. That was one of the strategies I used to win and I am a bit lucky I guess." said Naruto with a sheepish smile making all those present sweat drop.

"You seem to know Kakashi and how to fight him." said Inoichi.

Naruto nodded slightly before smiling sadly and saying: "When Kushina-nee san came to visit, Yondaime-sama came with her. I got to spend time with him and he also trained me a bit. He also talked about his students sometimes.It isn't hard to figure Hatake-san's identity as he is the only silver haired person the Yondaime talked about." making those present quiet as the took in the information.

"Wait, how did Kushina Leave the village? The barrier never detected her leaving." said Koharu making Hiruzen and Homura perk up hearing the question.

"The barrier only detect Kushina if she physically went past it. Since she always came with Minato using the flying thunder god Jutsu, being a Space-time jutsu the barrier didn't detect her leaving." said Tsunade making Hiruzen and the two elders go wide eyed at the information.

After a while of silence, Hiruzen sighed and said: "what is done, is done. No need to over think it." He then looked at Naruto and said: " come back here tomorrow at eight in the morning to meet your jonin-sensei. For now, You may leave as I need to discuss who would it be with your mother." to which Naruto nodded.

"See you later, mum." said Naruto to his mother as he proceeded to leave.

After Naruto left, Hiruzen looked at Tsunade and the others and said: " I need to see you all in the council room in two hours for an important matter. After what we have seen, I don't know who to assign as Naruto's Jonin-sensei. I don't know If he even needs to be assigned one." 

The clan heads nodded before starting to leave. As they are leaving, Hiruzen called: "Shikaku." making said man look at Hiruzen with a lazy look.

"Be sure to bring Naruto's IQ test Results when you come to the council room." said Hiruzen making Shikaku nod before leaving

Two hours later; in the council room;

Hiruzen entered the room with Tsunade following behind him. The filled room became became quiet and its occupants stood up.

Tsunade went and stood in front of the seat of Senju clan head while Hiruzen went to his seat in the front of the table.

"You all may sit and lets begin this meeting." said Hiruzen as he sat down making the attendees sit as well.

"Before we begin. Shikaku what is the results?" Hiruzen asked the Nare clan head.

"The test indicate that Naruto has an IQ of 220 at the very least." said Shikaku in a uncharacteristically serious tone. This information caused a wave of shocked silence to go over the people present with some audible gasps that can be heard.

This was the Highest IQ ever recorded in the village's History. That also explains how Naruto could defeat Kakashi so easily. 

Even though Naruto stated humbly that he won over Kakashi because of luck, continuous pressure and Kakashi not taking him seriously, they could see clearly what happened. Naruto could counter every move Kakashi. He used dust and fog to render Kakashi's sharingan eye useless. Then there is His use of shadow clones to distract Kakashi while planting a sealing tags secretly on the ground then controlling the battlefield to push Kakashi to where he wants. This all indicate that Naruto has a highly intelligent, smart and strategic mind.

Then there is Naruto's Shinobi skills. The boy showed at least two nature elements with his water style being more eye catching, His talent with water release remind them of Tobirama Senju. His Taijutsu is very solid with hard hits and very fast movements. They didn't see much of his Kenjutsu skills but it seemed quite good. But what surprised them was how proficient Naruto is in Fuinjutsu. It amazing how he could use such a complicated shinobi art effectively in the spar.

"Tsunade-sama, I mean no disrespect, but who is Naruto's father?" asked Inoichi with a bit of an absent mind. As soon he finished asking, his mind sensed what he has just said making his face pale. He tried to shrink in his seat as Tsunade looked at him.

"What does that suppose to mean, Inoichi?" asked Tsunade angrily making him shrink further.

While Tsunade is very happy that her baby boy is very smart, Inoichi's question irritated her to no end. Does he think she is stupid?

The men in the room started to paying respect to Inoichi in their minds as if he signed his death warrant. Even Shikaku started to think of how to break it to Inoichi's wife that her husband's stupidity resulted in his death. 

"Calm down, Tsunade. It just a wrong question. Also Naruto's father Identity is a secret until farther notice. So, lets change the subject." said Hiruzen making Tsunade look at him with a huff leaving Inoichi alone, much to his great relief.

'I know Minato was smart, but I don't think it reached this degree. Where did that boy get his smarts from? because it is definitely not from his mother.' thought Hiruzen to himself as he sweat dropped looking at Tsunade who had her arms crossed under her chest and huffing angrily looking like a child having a tantrum.

"Now, who do you recommend to assign as Naruto's Jonin-sensei?" Hiruzen asked everyone present.

Tsunade was about to talk but Hiruzen cut her before she begins by saying: "No, Tsunade. I told you I won't make you his Jonin-sensei." making her close her mouth.

"What about Jiraiya-sama? He should be suitable." said Tsume the Clan head of the Inuzuka Clan.

"Absolutely not. I can't have him turn my baby boy in to a pervert. You should know how Jiraiya is." said Tsunade making Tsume give her a sheepish apologetic look,

Hiruzen sighed before saying: "Putting Jiraiya's questionable personality aside. He would be the most ideal choice if I didn't need him to keep constant taps on his spy network. Our current situation can't hold any unexpected surprises from any other nation." 

"Why not promote him directly to Chunin? He is more than qualified." asked Choza

"No, can't do that. The boy's status as the Jinchuuriki is already leaked. Making him a chunin directly after graduation won't do him any good." said Hiruzen.

"Why not assign him to ANBU?" suggested Inoichi only to be met by a murderous glare from Tsunade.

'Please, Keep your stupid mouth shut, Inoichi. Are you really that eager to die early? Don't poke the Mama bear.' Shikaku shouted mentally as he let out a sighed.

"That would be Ideal after he becomes a chunin with some field experience." said Hiruzen making Tsunade's attention snap back at him.

"What the hell are you saying, old man?" asked Tsunade with an edge in her tone.

"Naruto is going to need as much experience as he can get, Tsunade. Have faith in him and his capabilities." said Hiruzen making Tsunade clench her fists tightly in anger.

Tsunade stayed quiet for a bit before saying in a dangerous low tone of voice: "If my son Joins ANBU and something happens to him..." The rest was left unsaid but the underlining threat was clear as day.

Tsunade may have never joined ANBU. But she is too familiar with the darkness and dangers that surrounds that secret organization.

After a bit of uncomfortable silence, Hiruzen asked: "any other ideas?" only to be met with silence.

Hiruzen sighed before taking his smoking pipe from inside his robe. He filled it then used a small fire jutsu to light it up.

He took a deep puff from it before exhaling the smoke. He looked at the ceiling while saying: "The boy is very well all-rounded in different Shinobi arts. Which makes finding a suitable jonin-sensei for him difficult."

He continued smoking while saying: "Jiraiya is unavailable, Most clans specialize in one Shinobi art and Leaving the Senju heir train with a Jonin from a clan may cause some issues." 

Some Clan heads nodded slightly at that. Training the Senju heir will be advantageous to any clan. 

Hiruzen stayed quiet for sometime thinking while smoking. After awhile, he put out his pipe and exhaled the smoke in his lungs before sighing and saying: "I will take him as my student." greatly surprising all those in the room.

"That is absurd, Hiruzen. How can you have a student again after all these years while also having the duties as the Hokage? " said Homura

"It is the best course of action I can see. Naruto will be my fourth and final student that I will teach whenever I am not busy with my duties. Whenever I am busy, I will assign a Jonin to either train him or take him on missions. The boy already trains with Guy, so I don't see him having a problem training with other Jonin. I will also assign Naruto to do shifts in the Hospital to increase his medical knowledge and experience under Tsunade. Anyone has a better idea?" said Hiruzen only to be met with silence.

"Then our meeting has ended." said Hiruzen as he stood up and left the room.

It took some moments before the others also started to leave the room. They just needed to come to terms with what just happened.

The Sandaime Hokage just took in a Fourth student.

At 8 am the next morning; in the first training grounds;

Naruto walked into the training grounds calmly, but he was quite exicted on the inside to see who will be his jonin-sensei.

He was quite surprised to see The Sandaime standing alone in the middle of the Training grounds.

"Good morning, Saru-jiji" said Naruto as he approched Hiruzen.

"Good morning, Naruto-kun." said Hiruzen with a grandfatherly smile.

"So, Jiji, who is my sensei?" asked Naruto with a slight head tilt

"That would be me, Naruto-kun." replied Hiruzen with a wider smile surprising Naruto.

"You will be my sensei, Jiji? but aren't you very busy?" asked Naruto.

Hiruzen sighed before saying: "we couldn't find a better arrangement yesterday. As for me being busy, I will teach you whenever I am not busy with my duties. Whenever I am busy, I will assign a Jonin to either train you or take you on missions. You will also do shifts in the hospital with your mother. What do you think, Naruto-kun?" said Hiruzen which got him an acceptance nod from Naruto.

"Take care of me from now on, Saru-sensei." said Naruto with a slight bow making Hiruzen smile at his new nickname.

"Before we start, I need you to tell me what Shinobi skills you are good at."said Hiruzen

Naruto nodded then proceeded to tell Hiruzen about what he is good at. He didn't tell him everything though. His wood style, Sharingan, the level of his fuinjutsu and most of his advanced skills were keep a secret. 

Hiruzen is quite surprised with how diverse Naruto's Shinobi skills is. He is also surprised to know that Naruto has all Chakra Natures. He is pretty excited to have such a smart and talented student to teach after so long.

This is how Naruto spent his first day training as a genin, Hiruzen trained him in different shinobi arts while also giving him pointers in many others. He isn't called "The Professer" for nothing.

The start of Naruto's shinobi journey seems bright and intersting.
