Naruto: The Sage Body of Konoha

The ninja tools once used by the Sage of Six Paths can be divided into two categories.

He immediately lashed out, channeling all his frustration from his earlier encounter with Heiyan directly at Orochimaru.

"It was your Root division that failed to keep the lab secret and leaked intel, leading to enemy intrusion. What does that have to do with me?"

Orochimaru narrowed his eyes, sharply firing back without holding back. He'd just been mocked by the catgirl and was already in a foul mood, so he had no intention of showing Danzo any courtesy.

The two bickered and shifted blame toward each other, creating an extremely tense atmosphere.

"Enough."

Finally, Danzo was the first to calm down, suppressing his inner rage as he coldly told Orochimaru:

"I've received orders from above—we're to bring personnel to Uzu Country and participate in the operation to destroy Uzugakure."

Danzo and Orochimaru, along with over a dozen Root agents, donned disguises and slipped out of Konoha unnoticed, setting off toward Uzu Country.

The next day brought deep autumn, with nature itself seeming to wither—its decay mirrored by a heavy war cloud looming over Konoha, casting the village into solemn silence.

Inside the room, before the mirror,

Heiyan tied up his long hair, wore the white Shanwenjia armor with its cape, and slung a large scroll on his back. After completing his preparations, he closed the door behind him and left home.

Running and leaping across Konoha's rooftops, it didn't take him long to reach the village gate.

To his surprise, two familiar figures were already standing side by side—one on either side of the path, waiting for him.

On the left stood Fugaku Uchiha wearing golden Shanwenjia armor with its cape and carrying the blazing war fan; on the right stood Hiashi Hyuga dressed in silver Shanwenjia armor with its cape, bearing a silver longbow.

Both men reached out, blocking Heiyan's path.

"You... came here too?" Heiyan asked, surprised.

"It was that kid Minato Namikaze who informed us." Fugaku folded his arms across his chest, seriously staring at Heiyan.

"Captain, where exactly are you headed? Are you going to Uzugakure?"

Hiashi even furrowed his brows, directly expressing dissatisfaction toward Heiyan: "We're teammates—don't we make up a three-person team? If you have a mission, why keep it secret from me and Fugaku?"

Hearing this, Heiyan exhaled deeply. Then he admitted openly:

"Yes, I truly am going to Uzu Country."

Because right now, the Uzumaki Clan was facing a crisis of war, and Konoha's high-ranking elders had decided… to abandon support. Therefore, this isn't an official mission—it's my personal decision. "The third force is the Golden Exchange. Remember that battle on Mist Island from a year ago? Kakuzu, the man with five hearts, will make a comeback, leading more than a thousand bounty hunters into this war. Even scarier is that Kakuzu's master is none other than a mysterious Uchiha who once appeared at the Valley of the End."

"Besides these, there are other enemy forces and experts lurking in the shadows, waiting to seize their opportunity."

"All this is precisely why Konoha's leadership decided to abandon the Uzumaki, our ally."

When Heiyan finished analyzing the war situation facing Uzugakure, Fugaku and Hiashi stood completely stunned.

"Agreed!" Without hesitation, both Fugaku and Hiashi placed their hands on top—three hands met firmly, sealing an unshakable bond.

The three exchanged smiles before turning and marching forward resolutely.

It was late October—deep autumn in Konoha Year 31.

Northern winds blew as leaves scattered across the sky. The capes behind them fluttered in the wind, proudly bearing the emblems of the Uzumaki, Uchiha, and Hyuga clans—the three most prestigious lineages—glowing together.

With the cold wind whistling, the three figures slowly disappeared into the distance.

Ten minutes later.

Beside a ruined well near Konoha's outskirts.

"The Enshinsui seal of Uzugakure... It's been destroyed."

Heiyan's expression turned grave.

Two possibilities came to mind.

First, someone within Uzugakure had betrayed the Uzumaki clan—most likely someone high-ranking, because the Enshinsui seal was located in the backyard of the meeting hall, known only to a select few.

Second, Uzugakure might have already fallen.

They could only hope it was the first case—it would at least leave room for salvation.

"Let's move!"

Heiyan whispered sharply. The three immediately activated the Body Flicker Technique, rushing urgently toward Uzu Country.

Konoha, Hokage Office.

Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned deeply, staring intently at a map of shinobi nations displayed on his desk.

The Land of Fire was vast and populous, directly bordering smaller countries like the River, Rain, Grass, Waterfall, Frost, Field, Iron, Uzu, and Kumogakure nations. Beyond these buffer states lay the four great nations surrounding Fire Country entirely.

In peacetime, such geography made it the center of the ninja world, providing tremendous economic and trade advantages—but once war broke out, it became a target for attacks from every direction.

Right now, Hiruzen focused on the western front, troubled by the severe tensions brewing between Wind and Earth nations along the border.

As for the eastern front, he had already given up hope.

Now, only the corpses of their Uzumaki allies could appease Cloud and Mist, dissuading them from further attacks on Konoha.

Suddenly, quick footsteps echoed from the hallway outside.

Startled, Hiruzen watched as the office doors swung open violently. Two angry groups stormed inside.

"Take First and Second Squads with you. Retrieve Heiyan, Fugaku, and Hiashi—no matter the cost."

Hiruzen spoke gravely, his tone unwavering in its resolve.

This mission wasn't only about Heiyan himself—if something were to happen to Fugaku Uchiha and Hiashi Hyuga, their respective clans would undoubtedly seek retaliation.

In that case, Konoha might even face internal division.

No matter what, Hiruzen refused to let such a scenario unfold.

"Understood!"
