Naruto: The Senju Patriarch

The next morning, the plan went forward as scheduled. The Konoha camp made large, obvious movements indicating a large-scale mobilisation. Iwa saw this and, taking it as an opportunity to finish them off, also set out. 

The two armies met at a large clearing. Konoha's side had about 6000 shinobi, whereas Iwa's was 9000. The number's advantage was clear, however Konoha had the quality of Shinobi on their side - it would come down to each side's highest class battle forces clashing to determine the victor. Iwa were confident and arrogant, thinking that Konoha's high level shinobi would be tied up, once again, allowing them to decimate their ranks. Confident with this intention, the Jinchuriki came out, first moving away from their army, so as to not affect them in the battle. Orochimaru and Tajima met the 5 Tails Jinchuriki, causing a slight surprise. But the real shocker was when Jiraiya attacked the main army. This made the 4 Tails Jinchuriki shocked, but then glad, thinking he was free to rain destruction on the Konoha shinobi.

But at that moment, a young, calculated Katsuro strode calmly toward him.

Seeing the almost dainty looking man with a sword and long hair, the Jinchuriki cockily decided that he would be his first target. The 4 Tails Jinchuriki was generally stronger than the 5 Tails, because he could use the Lava Style Kekkei Genkai, so his arrogance was not without cause.

Without a moment to lose and hoping to make this fight quick, the Jinchuriki quickly fired Lava Style: Scorching Steam Rock Jutsu, spewing molten rocks from his mouth; however just as fast, Katsuro countered instantly using Water Style: Exploding Water Colliding Wave, which was helped by the constant rain. The Jutsu moved forward like a tsunami, swallowing the molten rocks, and forcing the Jinchuriki to narrowly dodge. The water travelled so far and with such weight that it swept away some shinobi from Iwa behind the Jinchuriki, causing mass chaos and panic.

At this point, the Jinchuriki grew annoyed seeing the proficient water style usage, noticing Konoha had slyly arranged a counter to him who was quite strong. 

Speaking of the counter, the Jinchuriki shinobi heard the white-haired man speak, "You should turn into a Bijuu already, you don't stand a chance against me." 

The hot tempered shinobi became enraged, and augmented himself in Lava Chakra nature.

"Lava Style Chakra Mode!" 

Seeing this, Katsuro was surprised at the level of control this new Jinchuriki had over his Tailed Beast's Chakra, and used his own augmentation and signature Jutsu, Lightning Style: Thunderclap Impulse. The enhanced parameters and reaction speed allowed Katsuro to easily see through the Jinchuriki's attacks. He made sure to dodge the attacks rather than block, seeing the high temperature lava, and countered with his sword, enhancing it with lightning chakra nature so it could cut through the shinobi's defence. The close distance fight between Taijutsu and Kenjutsu heavily favoured Katsuro, evidenced by the numerous injuries that appeared on the Jinchuriki's body, who had only survived so far due to the defence of his Chakra mode and vitality of being a Jinchuriki. The enemy shinobi's breath was laboured as he made distance, understanding he was out of his depth. 

"What is your name?"

"I am Senju Katsuro, I will have to deal with you here."

"I see… I am Roshi. You are a strong opponent.."

Seeing Konoha's side seemingly winning with Jiriaya and several fresh strong Jonin acting like reapers on the battlefield, the 4 Tails Jinchuriki took Katsuro's advice from earlier. He seemed to transform into the 4 Tails, giving up control of his body. As the huge beast roared out, both Iwa and Konoha shinobi alike fled from it, so as to not be caught in the crossfire. Katsuro immediately used the S-class Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld Jutsu, trapping the Bijuu and making it sink slowly. He continued layering it with his own original S-class Jutsu, inspired by the Uzumaki's homelands - Water style: Great Whirlpool Jutsu - which created a massive whirlpool, as big as the Swamp of the Underworld, that would continuously suck in whatever was trapped inwards. This combination left the 4 Tails thoroughly trapped, no matter how much he thrashed around.

The massive monkey tried to use Lava Style to evaporate the water, but Katsuro made a clone with a large amount of Chakra to keep adding more, rendering the Jinchuriki's efforts useless. The large Jutsu combination drew awe from friend and foe alike, with those who supported him rejoicing at their decision, seeing the 4 Tails being absolutely manhandled. Katsuro continued with haste, intent on making sure that the beast did not create a Bijuu Bomb, which he had heard about from Granny Mito. He weaved hand signs and leaped high in the air, above the 4 Tails and shot down another original S rank creation - Fire Style: Nine Dragons Hell Flame Bullet Jutsu. Nine large dragons emerged from Katsuro's mouth, and circled around each other, targeting the Bijuu, threatening to swallow it. And soon, as they collided with the Tailed Beast, making a huge explosion, and to those that had seen one, they would compare it to the size of a Bijuu bomb. The intense heat vapourised the surrounding rain and scorched the earth below, forming a large crater under the huge monkey. Shinobi from both sides scattered, leaping away from the heat. The sheer power of direct hit and trap left the Bijuu shattered and severely burned. Katsuro took the opportunity, getting close and using his Fuinjutsu prowess to seal the Bijuu back inside. He then also placed a chakra suppressing seal on the Jinchuriki to ensure he was thoroughly out of the fight despite being unconscious. 

While he could have killed him, Katsuro made the conscious decision not to. He should be valuable in negotiating peace to end the war. Katsuro called over some Senju shinobi to secure the asset. Despite how in awe they were, they did their job flawlessly, knowing what was at stake. 

Katsuro's chakra reserves were not as large as the first Hokage's, but they weren't too far off either. Despite this, the fight had drained him a considerable amount, almost 10%. His destructive trump card particularly took a lot out of him. 

Seeing Katsuro win so easily, without even a scratch on him, Konoha shinobi cheered with the Senju, making the loudest noise for their patriarch. Katsuro assessed the ongoing battlefield, but instead of revelling in his victory, he saw Orochimaru and Tajima suppressing the 5 Tails, and decided to join the rest of the army.
