Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

"Jiraiya, why didn't you keep an eye on them! It's very dangerous for them to appear here!" Raikage Ai demanded after seeing Jiraiya.

Tsunade, who was initially relieved by Jiraiya's appearance, now looked at him with puzzled eyes. She also wanted to know why Naruto, who was supposed to be protected, was here.

He even detected Sasuke's unique chakra signature, prompting him to leave the Land of Lightning and rush into the battlefield, dragging Killer Bee and Jiraiya with him.

"Tsunade, you know Naruto's temperament. Once he decides on something, no one can stop him," Jiraiya said helplessly, spreading his hands with a wry smile.

"But it's because they joined the battle that we managed to escape, right?" said Mizukage Mei Terumi.

Gaara nodded in agreement. "Yes, no matter what, they're now an indispensable part of our forces."

Gaara's words earned approval from everyone present.

"Huh~" Tsunade sighed deeply. "The truth is, if we lose, neither the Eight Tails nor the Nine Tails will remain safe. Letting them fight now might be the best option..."

As Tsunade finished speaking, everyone turned to look at the battlefield where the Nine Tails and Susanoo were engulfed in smoke.

The smoke slowly cleared, revealing the stalemate between the two colossal figures.

Susanoo, holding a massive blade in both hands, had split the Nine Tails' shoulder with a terrifying strike. The deep wound almost split its upper body in two, leaving the Nine Tails' chakra form dim and unstable.

But the Nine Tails had not backed down. Its claws had ripped across Susanoo's armor, leaving deep grooves on its chest. Purple flames burned across Susanoo's wounds, and the once-indomitable form looked as though it might collapse at any moment.

"Fufufu..." Naruto and Sasuke panted heavily, their exhaustion evident.

Their previous exchange had been a clash of full power, leaving both gravely injured and unable to move temporarily.

Both staggered back, barely staying out of each other's range.

"Naruto, give up. You can't stop me," Sasuke said coldly. "From the beginning until now, you've never been able to stop me."

Naruto's gaze was firm. "I swore that next time, I'd bring you back no matter what..."

"Tch!" Sasuke growled angrily at Naruto's unyielding resolve. "Why?! Why do you always stand in my way?!"

With Sasuke's roar, Susanoo rose once again, its blazing purple flames healing the wounds on its body.

The Nine Tails responded in kind. Supported by bubbles of vibrant chakra, the massive wound on its shoulder regenerated as if time had rewound.

Both of them stood tall once more, their earlier weakness now a distant illusion.

Susanoo brandished its restored blade and stepped forward.

"Earth Style: Earthquake Core!"

The solid ground beneath Susanoo suddenly sank, and before Sasuke could react, half of Susanoo's body was swallowed by the earth.

"This is..." Sasuke muttered, glancing at the shifting terrain.

Not far away, the Gedo Mazo, which had been entangled with the Eight Tails, also sank into the collapsing ground.

"Are their reinforcements here?" Obito muttered in surprise as figures began to appear on the horizon. "Wait, this chakra…"

"Backup's here! I'm outta here—oh yeah!" Killer Bee, badly injured, spotted his allies gathering. Knowing they were targeting the Gedo Mazo, he broke away.

Kurotsuchi, who led the allied forces, dropped to one knee and slammed his palms on the ground again. "Earth Style: Mountain and Earth Technique!"

Boom! Two massive mountains rose from the ground and began to close in on the Gedo Mazo, attempting to bury it in the earth.

"Roar!" The Gedo Mazo sensed the danger and stretched its arms, holding the mountains apart. Cracks spiderwebbed across the stone walls, but the Gedo Mazo barely managed to keep them from closing.

"Not done yet!" As the Gedo Mazo struggled, a group of Hidden Mist ninjas moved forward, performing seals. "Water Style: Waterfall Technique!"

Dozens of massive water blasts slammed into the Gedo Mazo, pooling into a small lake at its feet.

"Now it's our turn!" Darui led the Cloud ninjas, quickly forming seals. "Lightning Style: Wave of Inspiration!"

Bolts of lightning surged through the water, crawling up the Gedo Mazo's body. The beast roared in agony, the pain reverberating through the battlefield.

As the lightning neared its feet, Obito leapt off the Gedo Mazo and landed safely on solid ground.

The moment he landed, White Zetsu emerged beside him, his voice panicked. "Not good! Madara has been defeated..."
