Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Samui, stationed within the ninja alliance, quickly realized something was off. As Obito continued moving in her direction, she couldn't shake the feeling of being his target.

"Is he coming toward me?"

At first, she doubted herself, but no matter where she moved, Obito pursued relentlessly.

"Why? What's so special about me?"

Samui's eyes widened as a realization struck her—she was carrying the Six Paths Treasures.

"Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths… is that his goal? I can't let him take them! I need to reach Darui or Lord Raikage!"

Determined, Samui dashed toward Darui, who was occupied at a distance with the Gedo Mazo.

Obito noticed her intent and increased his speed. "You won't escape."

"With us here, you'll go no further!"

Because Samui kept running toward crowded areas, more and more alliance ninjas attempted to block Obito's path.

"Annoying," Obito muttered.

Activating his Kamui, the space around him began to distort in a spiral vortex. He followed up with a jutsu.

"Fire Style: Storm Wind Dance!"

A swirling inferno expanded outward, engulfing everything in its path. The flames coiled like fiery serpents, leaving the coalition ninjas with no time to escape.

"Water Style: Water Wall!"

Reacting quickly, the Hidden Mist ninjas combined their chakra, spewing torrents of water to form a massive protective wall.

Boom! Boom! Hiss…

Steam exploded across the battlefield as fire clashed with water, obscuring everything in a dense fog.

"Where is he?"

Some of the stronger ninjas survived the onslaught, remaining alert.

Pfft!

Before one could react, Obito's sickle pierced through his abdomen. The ninja fell to the ground in agony.

Under cover of the steam, Obito tore through the ninja ranks, unstoppable. Those who tried to intercept him fell one after another.

"Damn it! Can't we stop him?!" someone shouted in desperation.

"I've got you."

Obito finally reached Samui. He lunged forward to grab the Benihisago strapped to her back. Samui turned, her face full of fear but her arm raised defensively.

Boom!

A sudden blast separated them, throwing both backward.

From the smoke emerged TenTen, chakra flaring around her as she tightly gripped a red fan—the Bashōsen.

"I'm here!" TenTen declared.

Samui's eyes lit up. "That's the Bashōsen!"

"Yep! Now move!" TenTen shouted with a confident smile.

Swinging the fan, TenTen unleashed a powerful storm of fire. "Fire Storm!"

The roaring flames surged toward Obito, enveloping him in a fiery tornado. TenTen grinned, imagining him burned to ash.

"Shinra Tensei!"

An invisible force exploded outward, scattering the firestorm instantly. Obito emerged unscathed, his Rinnegan glowing ominously.

"Bansho Ten'in!" Obito extended his hand toward Samui.

An invisible force grabbed Samui, pulling her toward him despite her struggles.

"What? The Rinnegan! That's how he's doing this!" TenTen realized, rushing to act.

She reached for her fishing rod, planning to reel Samui back as she'd done earlier. But it was too late—Samui was already in Obito's grasp.

"You can't escape… huh?"

As Obito reached for her, Samui swung a Golden Rope tied around her arm, aiming for his face.

Obito reacted instantly, swatting her arm away. "Nice try, but I was prepared for that."

Samui, out of options, was forced to the ground as Obito pinned her.

"Too much hassle," Obito muttered. Unable to untie the gourd quickly, he activated Kamui, warping Samui—and the gourd strapped to her—into his dimension.

Before disappearing, Samui's final thought was, "Why does this always happen to me…?"

Thud!

A glowing fishhook embedded itself in the ground where Samui had stood. TenTen's attempt at rescue had failed.

"Damn it!" TenTen growled in frustration.

Obito picked up the now-detached Benihisago, his eyes gleaming triumphantly.

"It's over. All the pieces are finally in place."

In the distance, the Gedo Mazo roared in response and began rampaging toward Obito's position.

"His target… it's the Nine Tails' chakra inside the gourd!" Darui realized, shouting urgently. "Stop him! Don't let him feed that thing!"

"Earth Style: Earthquake Core!"

Hearing Darui's command, Kurotsuchi and the Iwa ninjas performed their jutsu, causing the ground beneath the Gedo Mazo to sink into a massive ravine.

But the beast reacted swiftly, leaping into the air before the ground collapsed. It soared over the ninja forces and landed directly in front of Obito.

"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"

Desperate, Kurotsuchi directed the earth to rise, slamming a wall between Obito and the Gedo Mazo.

Boom!

The colossal beast smashed into the wall, halting for a brief moment.

"Now's our chance!" Darui shouted, rallying the nearby forces.

But as they rushed forward, Obito floated up beside the Gedo Mazo. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed the Benihisago into the beast's open maw.

The gourd disappeared into the Gedo Mazo's fanged mouth.
