Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: Tobirama vs. Six Paths of Pain

"Ice... formed from water?"

Nagato's face froze, unable to comprehend the molecular transformation of water into ice—an advanced concept that his lack of formal education left him ill-equipped to grasp.

His confusion stemmed solely from the fact that Tobirama, someone with no ties to Kirigakure, could wield Ice Release.

The Shinra Tensei that had overcome countless obstacles reached Tobirama with only the force of a gentle breeze, ruffling his white hair.

"Banshō Ten'in!"

Pain, undeterred by his initial failure, hesitated only briefly before a deep black sphere materialized in his palm.

A powerful gravitational force, akin to a black hole, pulled at Tobirama and even the ground beneath his feet.

As he was dragged forward, Pain raised his other hand, unleashing Shinra Tensei.

Boom! Boom!

Like the collapse of the heavens, the repulsive force pounded into Tobirama.

The collision of opposing forces—gravitational pull and repulsion—compressed in a violent clash that could have torn even the strongest body into a mist of blood.

However, just as Pain prepared to drive a black rod into Tobirama's chest to neutralize the Edo Tensei's regeneration, his eyes narrowed sharply.

Water seeped from Tobirama's body, revealing that a water clone had replaced him at some unknown point. It exploded with a splash.

"When did he create a water clone?!" Pain exclaimed in shock.

Before he could react further, a powerful force struck from behind. He hastily swung his black rod in defense.

Clang!

The clash of metal resounded as Tobirama's Flying Thunder God kunai met Pain's black rod.

Tobirama tilted his head slightly and smirked.

"If you don't summon the other five Paths, I'll destroy Yahiko's body."

He knows everything!

Nagato's frustration grew as Pain—the Deva Path—was sent flying by a frost-coated kick from Tobirama.

Boom! Boom!

Pain's body created several large craters before finally coming to a stop.

A faint sound of trickling water echoed as the Deva Path pulled itself from the rubble.

Despite enduring a kick that would have been fatal to most, the Deva Path's body was unscathed—only its Akatsuki cloak, now tattered and dust-covered, betrayed the damage it had taken.

Pain's corpse, thoroughly modified for combat, was far from ordinary. Yahiko's body, in particular, had been refined to an extreme degree by Nagato.

The Deva Path stood upright, staring coldly at Tobirama without a word. Behind him, five figures emerged, their black-and-red cloaks fluttering in the wind.

Nagato had abandoned all defense of his true body. No matter the cost, he would ensure Tobirama did not leave alive.

The Six Paths of Pain—Deva, Asura, Human, Animal, Preta, and Naraka—stood united. Six pairs of Rinnegan glowed with an unyielding, eerie light.

"Good. Now it's starting to feel like a fight," Tobirama said, cracking his neck. Ignoring the electronic tone echoing in his mind, he stomped the ground, sending tremors through the earth as he charged toward the Six Paths of Pain.

The real battle had begun.

The air screamed as black rods hurtled toward Tobirama, aiming to pierce his body.

Forged through the Rinnegan's Yin-Yang Release, these weapons disrupted chakra within their targets—even Edo Tensei bodies were not immune to their effects.

Tobirama flickered between positions, weaving through the onslaught with precision. His hand shimmered as he formed a water blade, slicing through the incoming rods before hurling the blade forward, embedding it into the Animal Path's skull.

He spun, evading another attack, and grabbed the Preta Path's wrist. Using it as a shield, he sent the Human Path flying with a powerful kick.

Suddenly, Tobirama felt his chakra depleting rapidly. The Preta Path was drawing it out with immense force.

"You like absorbing? Then absorb this!" Tobirama smirked as he poured chakra into the Preta Path—natural energy-infused Sage Chakra.

The Preta Path absorbed greedily, unaware of the danger. Moments later, its body stiffened, transforming into a stone statue before crumbling into dust. Even the Naraka Path couldn't restore it.

Nagato coughed up blood, his frustration palpable as he summoned more chakra.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Rocket Arms!"

The Asura Path launched a barrage of missiles from its mechanical arms, leaving fiery trails in the air.

In response, Tobirama hurled Flying Thunder God kunai in seemingly random directions.

His target was the Naraka Path.

Realizing this, Nagato activated Shinra Tensei. The shockwave scattered the kunai and surged toward Tobirama, forcing him to teleport to one of the kunai's positions.

The assault didn't relent.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

The Animal Path slammed its hand onto the ground, summoning a horde of beasts—three-headed dogs, giant birds, crabs, oxen, centipedes, and more.

The sheer number rivaled an army, enough to overwhelm even a Kage-level shinobi.

But Tobirama's expression didn't waver. The enhanced scale of his Water Release would turn the tide.

"Water Release: Sea Tide Technique!"

With a clap of his hands, a massive torrent erupted from the ground, creating an ocean-like deluge.

The summoned beasts were swept away, thrashing helplessly in the water, swallowing mouthfuls of it.

Tobirama formed seals, detonating the water inside the beasts. Their bodies swelled grotesquely before exploding into a spray of gore.

The crimson blood transformed into razor-sharp ice shards that pierced through the surviving beasts.

Pain watched the devastation, his brows furrowing. For the first time, he saw the terrifying potential of Water Release.

Taking flight with repulsive force, the Deva Path landed on a high ledge untouched by the water.

Tobirama sprouted wings of water and followed.

"Nagato," Tobirama said coldly, his eyes fixed on the Rinnegan that didn't belong to Nagato. "Do you still insist on opposing me?"
