Senju Hashirama's voice was calm but resolute. "If we continue this war, the casualties on both sides will multiply, and the seeds of hatred will only spread further. This path leads to endless suffering. A truce is the only way to minimize further losses."

Ordinarily, such a statement might be dismissed as naïve or delusional. But coming from Senju Hashirama, the "God of Shinobi," the words carried weight. His powerful presence and the saint-like aura of his Asura bloodline commanded respect, even from his enemies.

The battlefield grew silent, Uchiha and Senju alike momentarily caught in the gravity of his words. Even the Uchiha soldiers, who had been eager to press their advantage, found themselves hesitating.

"If Uchiha and Senju cannot resolve this war conclusively, the only result will be another battle in the near future," remarked Uchiha Zhan, one of the clan's elder statesmen. His weathered voice carried the hard-earned wisdom of decades of warfare.

He wasn't wrong. The Warring States Period was an endless cycle: generations of fighters would fall in battle, only for their children to grow up, bear grudges, and reignite the conflict. If this war ended inconclusively, it would only sow the seeds for the next.

Hashirama nodded. "I understand this well. That's why I propose a four-year truce between the five major clans: Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, Hatake, and Kaguya. For four years, no wars. During this time, we rebuild and focus on peace.

"Ridiculous," Uchiha Yanhuo scoffed, his voice sharp and unyielding. "We're one clan against your alliance of four. If we give you four years, the Senju will only grow stronger while we remain stagnant. The balance of power will tip even further against us."

He had a point. The Uchiha were vastly outnumbered. The Senju Alliance's strength lay not just in their numbers but in their diversity—four clans fighting together under a unified banner. If they were given time to recuperate, they would far surpass the Uchiha.

The Uchiha soldiers began murmuring amongst themselves, growing restless. Signing the truce seemed like a death sentence, a betrayal of everything they'd fought for.

Madara crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. But his sharp eyes flicked to Izuna, silently seeking his brother's advice. Izuna stood deep in thought, holding his chin.

For Izuna, this proposal wasn't just a matter of strategy—it was a question of legacy. In the original timeline, the Uchiha were nearly wiped out by the Senju, reduced to a shadow of their former glory. Madara had fought to the bitter end, but in the end, even he was forced to agree to a fragile peace.

But this time, the situation was different. The Uchiha were on equal footing with the Senju, perhaps even stronger with both Madara and himself at the helm. Signing this truce now felt like giving up their hard-earned advantage.

Yet, continuing the war meant risking the clan's survival. Izuna's responsibilities as deputy clan leader weighed heavily on his mind. Could he afford to let pride dictate his decisions, knowing it might lead to the destruction of the Uchiha?

Hashirama's eyes were steady as he looked at the Uchiha brothers. "Madara, Izuna, please. For the sake of our clans, for the sake of the future, let us end this here."

Izuna finally broke his silence. His voice was cold, calculating. "Hashirama, without Tobirama, it seems your political strategies are falling short."

In one swift motion, Izuna placed his palm on the scroll. Wind chakra surged from his hand, tearing the agreement into shreds.

"Quenna!" Hashirama exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of shock and disappointment.

Izuna sneered, "How can we Uchiha trust the Senju Alliance, with your 5,000 troops still standing strong? No, Hashirama, if there is to be peace, it will be on our terms. Your proposal is nothing but empty words."

Madara's eyes gleamed with newfound power as he stepped forward, his presence dominating the battlefield. "Izuna is right. You're as naive as ever, Hashirama. If we don't break your spirit now, there's no guarantee you won't turn your strength against us later."

The pattern in Madara's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan spun ominously, its evolved form glowing with dark energy. Hashirama's gaze narrowed. "So, it's true. Your Sharingan has evolved."

Madara's voice was laced with scorn. "You'll soon find out just how much I've grown."

Before Hashirama could respond, Madara's hands blurred through a series of seals. "Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"

A massive wave of fire roared forth from Susanoo's mouth, threatening to consume everything in its path.

Hashirama reacted instantly. "Wood Release: Ghost Face Technique!" Giant wooden faces rose from the ground, forming an impenetrable shield that absorbed the flames.

The brief ceasefire was over. As the flames collided with the wooden shield, both armies roared to life.

"CHARGE!" Izuna's voice rang out like thunder as he led the Uchiha forces forward.

"Don't let them through!" Senju Yunma shouted, rallying the Senju troops. The battlefield erupted into chaos as the two armies clashed in a storm of jutsu and steel.

At the center of it all, Madara's Susanoo clashed with Hashirama's Wooden Golem. The two titans towered above the battlefield, their strikes shaking the earth beneath them.

Madara sneered as his Susanoo tore through one of Hashirama's wooden constructs. "I am no longer the man you fought before, Hashirama! This time, I will crush you!"

Hashirama's voice was steady, though his eyes betrayed his regret. "Madara, must it really come to this? If only you could see what I see—a future without war."

But Madara wasn't listening. His Susanoo drew its blade, wreathed in flames, and struck with devastating force. Hashirama's Wooden Golem barely managed to parry the blow.

From a distance, Izuna watched the clash between the two giants. Though Madara had grown stronger with his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Izuna couldn't help but notice the gap.

Madara still couldn't match Hashirama's raw power.

"Even with this strength, is Madara doomed to repeat his fate from the original timeline?" Izuna thought grimly. If Madara couldn't overcome Hashirama, what hope did the Uchiha have of truly claiming victory?

Izuna tightened his grip on his blade. "No," he muttered to himself. "This time will be different. I'll make sure of it."
