Chapter 53: Tower Of Triumph.

The member of Sanata's team tried to block Guy's punch with his arms.

But the result was the same—bones cracked. He was knocked down, screaming in pain.

Sanata stood frozen in fear. Before he could react, Kakashi flickered beside him and placed a hand on his head, crackling with lightning chakra. The moment Kakashi touched him, Sanata was paralyzed. Then, with his other hand, Kakashi formed a fist and infused it with lightning chakra before driving it straight into Sanata's gut.

Sanata crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

Guy, now slightly exhausted, deactivated the Second Gate and stepped back to catch his breath.

Kakashi turned around, eyes sharp and focused, ready for the next threat. Guy, though a little winded, was still prepared to fight.

At that moment, Tsume Inuzuka and her team arrived on the scene. They saw Sanata's team completely knocked out—only one of them remained conscious, arms visibly broken.

Tsume assessed the situation quickly. Her instincts told her that Kakashi and Guy might be exhausted. Without hesitation, she decided to go all out.

She used the **Man-Beast Transformation** technique and fused with her ninken, forming a two-headed beast—larger, faster, and more dangerous.

Kakashi immediately created shadow clones and spread them out in all directions. Meanwhile, Tsume's two teammates charged straight at Guy.

But before anything could happen, I intervened.

Using Wood Release, I summoned dozens of sharp wooden pillars mid-air, encircling Tsume and her team completely.

Tsume, thanks to her incredible sense of smell and sharp instincts, froze in place. Something told her not to move.

I stepped out casually from the shadows, walking over to Kakashi and Guy. I placed a hand on Guy's shoulder and used the **Mystic Palm Technique** to remove his fatigue completely.

Guy, now fully re-energized, gave me a bright thumbs-up.

One of Tsume's teammates, seeing me healing Guy, panicked. He tried to escape from the encirclement of wooden spears.

Without even glancing at him, one of the summoned tree pillar spear ,landed in front of him with a loud thud, burying itself into the ground and cracking the earth beneath.

The genin dropped to his knees and bowed his head low. He didn't dare move.

Kakashi saw it all and couldn't help but feel a surreal sense of awe. He already knew I was strong, but this level of control… it was something else.

Even Guy had a serious expression on his face.

I summoned a root that slithered toward Sanata Yamanaka's unconscious body and took the scroll from his pouch. The root then traveled underground and surfaced near me, presenting the scroll without a single speck of dirt or damage.

I inspected it. It was an **Earth Scroll**.

Perfect.

I nodded and dispelled the jutsu. All the wooden spears vanished instantly into thin air, allowing Tsume to finally breathe in relief.

I turned to her and gave a light smile.

Then I glanced at Kakashi and Guy. They understood my signal and vanished from the spot.

Meanwhile, Tsume stood frozen. My smile lingered in her mind. She found herself blushing.

One of her teammates shook her out of her thoughts, and she quickly composed herself.

Looking at Sanata Yamanaka and his team, she decided to leave them behind. It was only a temporary alliance for mutual benefit. No need to carry their dead weight now.

She wanted to finish the exam quickly and head to the tower... though she couldn't stop her thoughts from drifting back to my face.

Back on my end, I was already heading toward the tower with my team.

If I had known about Tsume's growing feelings, I probably would've just laughed—and maybe thought about her future son, Kiba.

But I had no interest in Tsume. I wasn't even aware of it.

By the time we reached the tower, it was already nightfall. That meant we had spent around six hours total in the Forest of Death.

The door to the tower was open. An instructor greeted us, and after we presented both scrolls, he allowed us inside and guided us to a room equipped with food and beds.

We had dinner together and rested for the night.

Well... Kakashi wasn't exactly satisfied. He declared he would start training at dawn to master the jutsu he'd been working on.

Morning came, and no other team had arrived yet.

We walked out of our room to the central area of the tower—the future battleground for the one-on-one matches.

Guy immediately started training with high energy, while Kakashi began meditating and fine-tuning his chakra control.

Watching them both, I felt a surge of motivation. I took out my sealing supplies and began working on my fuinjutsu training.

I didn't want to practice Wood Release here. The ground wasn't reinforced, and if I went all out, I could damage the structure. I could restore it afterward, of course, but it'd interfere with Kakashi and Guy's training.

So for now, the three of us busied ourselves—each focused, each dedicated—as we waited for the other teams to arrive.
