'Oh, they're bullying my girls. Do these guys have a death wish or something?' I mused quietly, barely containing my laughter as I watched the scene unfold.

I mean, they could have picked on anyone.

But no, they chose to mess with the girlfriends of the person who single-handedly erased the multiverse. Talk about poor life choices.

"You can't treat us like this!" Elaine's voice cut through the tension. Her furrowed brow and clenched fists spoke volumes, revealing her irritation.

"We submitted all the needed documents to obtain this building, and it belongs to Mr. Jin-hoo!" Elaine's explanation dripped with frustration.

"That's the thing. The person you're mentioning isn't even around. We're starting to think he's just a ghost owner because this place was bought with dirty money," another person chimed in, his tone accusatory. He seemed like a lawyer, judging by his demeanor and the stack of files he was holding.

"You run an investment company, but you never give dividends to your investors. You don't even have a portfolio to show. You should be thanking us that we're only seizing your assets and not suing you people to the ground." He added.

'Wait, how can they just claim ownership of my properties? Did the law change after all these monster invasions?' I pondered silently.

I recalled the law clearly since I often read it in my spare time.

So, I was pretty sure we followed the proper procedures. Well, that was if I disregarded the fact that I had influenced most of the high-ranking officials to expedite the permits.

'Did my mind control vanish after I was gone for so long?' I pondered silently.

It was possible. After all, during my absence, I had gone into a completely different dimension.

It stood to reason that all my connections would have been severed. Even after my return, I couldn't sense any connection with anyone.

Elaine and Kanon remained loyal to me, but perhaps that was because they were in love with me. I couldn't say the same for the others.

"Just sign this paper so we can be done with it. We'll buy the building for 50% of your acquisition cost," the attorney urged, his tone impatient.

"Acquisition cost? Are you insulting us?" Elaine retorted defiantly. "We all know that property prices in Seoul have tripled because it's one of the safest places on Earth after the invasion. And even if you offered us five times the amount, we wouldn't sell it to you." She stood her ground firmly.

"You bitch," the man with blonde hair snapped, and suddenly the atmosphere grew colder, his hair shifting from shades of yellow to crystal blue.

"Do you know who we are? Just give us this building and be done with it. Or do you want our organization to make your life hell?" he added angrily, clearly attempting to intimidate my women with his power.

"I don't care who you are, and we won't be intimidated by you," Kanon declared, rising to her feet. Suddenly, the air around her increased in temperature .

'Oh, did she awaken?' I pondered silently. I had intended to intervene, but this unexpected turn of events made me rethink.

However, as Kanon's heat intensified, she found herself quickly subdued by the icy energy radiating from the opposing party. The gaping difference in their powers became very apparent.

"How about we all calm down," my voice echoed through the room, and with a flick of my fingers, the temperature returned to normal.

They glanced around in confusion, trying to locate me.

But before they could process everything , I appeared out of thin air, taking a seat in the chair close to Elaine.

"Darling" her faces lit up with joy as she rushed forward, arms outstretched.

"I'm back," I announced, a warm smile spreading across my face as I returned her hug

"We missed you," Elaine choked out, tears streaming down her face. I could see the toll my absence had taken on her.

Kanon also rested her face on my stomach.

They all look fragile now, quite different from the strong-willed women they were a few seconds ago.

"I'm really sorry for being away for so long," I said, touching their foreheads and kissing them.

"Because I was gone, these pieces of trash thought they could mess with what's mine," my voice turned cold as I glared at the people who had bullied my girls.

"Who—" The attorney attempted to speak, but before he could utter another word, he suddenly doubled over in pain, clutching his stomach. Then, with a sickening burst, he exploded from the inside out.

"A gifted!" the man with ice powers exclaimed in horror.

He raised his hands frantically, trying to use his power, but how could ice harm me?

I stared at him, and his blood began to freeze so rapidly that his skin started to shatter like glass, piece by piece.

It was slow and agonizing, but I wasn't done yet.

I exerted my power, ensuring that even as his body succumbed to the cold, his mind remained intact, forced to witness everything.

The remaining trashes also began to feel the excruciating pain of frostbite. But then came the twist—I healed them enough to ensure they wouldn't die, no matter what.

"Hey, did you all know that if you all died now, there won't be any alternate universe where you get to live? Poof! You'll be gone just like that," I taunted, unable to suppress a chuckle as I savored the sight of their suffering.

"P-Please spare us," the man with ice powers managed to stammer out, his words stuttering as he pleaded for mercy. It could be because of his ice-related abilities, making him more resistant to the freezing effects.

"Why?" I asked, feigning confusion. "Why should I spare you? Do you have something that I want?" I taunted, a smirk playing on my lips.

"W—We..." he attempted to speak, but the intense cold made it difficult, so I eased the chill around his mouth slightly.

"W-We're working for one of the 12 leaders of UP," he stuttered, his voice still trembling from the cold.

"If you kill us, it'll cause you trouble. I'm willing to let this go," he hastily added, misunderstanding my gesture after I healed him. He seemed to think I was afraid of his backer.

"United Power?" I couldn't help but chuckle at his words. It was rather amusing to me that he dared threatened me with just that.
