Not a love-story , it's a war-story.

Chapter 23: Chapter 23: The Stalker Gets Too Close, The Panic Hug Heard Round the World, and Bokki Gets a Security Detail

Day Twenty-Two. 8:20 AM.

The morning began with toast. And a shriek.

Soo-Min stared at her phone, jaw dropping.

"Min-Jae. Read this comment."

He leaned over.

> @BokkiWatcher101: I saw him again. 3:14AM. The pink collar glowed like destiny.

"Okay, that's either poetic or terrifying," Min-Jae said.

"Why are there time stamps?!"

---

Scene 1: Panic Mode Activated

They reviewed their security footage again.

Min-Jae paused one frame.

A figure. Blurry. Near the bushes.

"Nope. Nope. We are not doing the horror movie route."

Soo-Min pulled out her emergency contact list.

"We're calling for help."

"Who? The cat FBI?"

"Better. My aunt's friend's nephew — he runs a security startup."

---

Scene 2: Bokki's Security Detail

By 3PM, a man in all black arrived.

"Name's Kang-Dae. Background in martial arts and mall security."

"Mall security?" Min-Jae asked.

"You ever wrestle three children and a grandma over limited BTS merch? I have."

"You're hired."

Kang-Dae installed laser sensors, cat-tracking beacons, and even a motion-activated water sprayer.

"This will deter intruders. And squirrels."

Bokki sniffed the gadgets, sat on the control panel, and turned off the laser grid.

Kang-Dae bowed. "He's… advanced."

"He's chaos incarnate," Soo-Min said.

Scene 3: The Panic Hug Heard Round the World

That evening, Soo-Min took out the trash alone.

As she turned back toward the building… she saw it.

A shadow behind the hedge. A rustle.

She froze. "Who's there?!"

Suddenly, a branch snapped.

She dropped the bag and sprinted up the stairs.

Min-Jae opened the door just in time to catch her.

She hugged him. Hard. Trembling.

Bokki meowed dramatically.

Min-Jae shut the door, locked three bolts.

"Okay. That's it. We're sleeping with pepper spray under the pillows."

"I already do. And a hammer."

Kang-Dae reviewed footage.

"Definitely human. Wearing cat ears."

"I hate this city," Min-Jae muttered.

---

Scene 4: Viral Again (Of Course)

Someone in the apartment building had captured the hug.

Posted it with romantic music.

> 'When he holds you like the world can't touch you 💞 #MinMinMoments'

Soo-Min: "We were PANICKED."

Min-Jae: "But apparently adorable."

Fan edits flooded in.

Someone animated Bokki wearing a detective hat.

Another suggested they do a couple collab vlog: 'Love & Lasers: Our Cat Stalker Drama'

"We're living in a drama written by a sleep-deprived screenwriter," Soo-Min groaned.

---

Scene 5: Night Watch

That night, the apartment was quiet.

Too quiet.

Bokki sat near the window, tail twitching.

Min-Jae and Soo-Min lay in bed, flashlight between them.

"If we don't survive this," she whispered, "Tell the world I hated your bathroom singing."

"And tell my mom you always stole her tupperware."

"Fair."

They chuckled.

Then reached for each other's hands under the blanket.

Silence. Comfort. Chaos nearby. But right now, peace.
