Chapter 365: I Go Where I Please

"Kaido, Big Mom, why are you two here?"

Sengoku stared at the two towering pirates standing shoulder to shoulder, his voice low and serious.

"Wororororo! Sengoku, I go and come where I please. But you are still going to serve the Celestial Dragons to the bitter end, huh?"

Kaido hefted his spiked club onto his shoulder, his booming laugh reverberating like thunder, reigniting fear among Marijoa's guards.

The dramatic entrance of Kaido and Big Mom had been witnessed clearly by many of the Holy Land's defenders.

Beside the demons, even the Four Emperors, Kaido and Big Mom, had joined this invasion.

This undeniable fact severely undermined their resolve to protect Marijoa.

"Hmph! Don't spread nonsense. Whatever you're planning, you'll have to get through us first."

When it came to the Celestial Dragons, Sengoku couldn't speak too plainly.

Regardless, they couldn't let Kaido and Big Mom roam freely in the Holy Land.

These remnants of the Rocks Pirates, now Four Emperors, were brimming with ambition. Letting them loose could lead to unimaginable chaos.

"Mamamama! Sengoku, try it if you can."

Big Mom beside Kaido laughed and then glanced at him.

"I never thought we would be fighting side by side again. Brings back memories, doesn't it, Kaido?"

Kaido, who caught off guard by her sudden remark, paused, then shot back mercilessly, "Don't drag me down, you old hag!"

With that, he grinned eagerly and swung his club, charging at Sengoku.

This was the battlefield he had dreamed of.

Not long ago, Kaido had received a letter from the demons.

The message and the messenger who delivered it to his territory had one purpose: The demons were invading Marijoa, and if he was interested, he could join discreetly.

Naturally, Kaido was intrigued, not just by the demons' power, but by the battlefield itself.

Marijoa, the domain of the world's greatest nobles, the Celestial Dragons.

If he could plunge this place into war, Kaido was more than happy to join in.

He hadn't expected to run into Big Mom, though. Despite their current alliance, he had no fondness for her.

"Kaido, you bastard…"

Seeing him charge off with his club, Big Mom swallowed her words.

Her gaze shifted to Akainu, standing silently nearby.

After being locked in by Big Mom's fierce stare, Akainu wasted no time. His right arm smoked, molten lava surging forth.

"Die, Big Mom!"

"Great Eruption!"

Ruthless and succinct, Akainu attacked with lethal intent.

He had no patience for pirate chatter. He just wants to kill them and be done.

"Mamamama! What an arrogant brat."

Facing the erupting giant lava fist, the air around Big Mom grew dry, the temperature soaring.

Undaunted, she gripped Napoleon and unleashed her power.

"Ikoku Sovereignty!"

Their attacks collided, sending a massive shockwave rippling outward.

A typhoon-like wind swept through, hurling sand and debris.

"Those guys have no restraint, this is the Holy Land!"

Before an ornate building in Marijoa, a group of mysterious figures, clad in lavish attire, each wielding unique weapons, watched Akainu and Big Mom's battle from afar.

As their fight wreaked havoc on Marijoa, one of them spoke up.

The leader gripped the hilt of his sword at his waist, surveying the chaos.

Alarms blared, demons rampaged, people fled, guards fought back, and in the distance, a stone pillar pierced Pangea Castle, with several figures blocking their path.

His grip tightened slightly.

They were the God Knights, the Celestial Dragons' elite guard, also empowered to judge and sentence them.

Their leader was Figarland Garling, Supreme Commander of the God Knights.

After the demon invasion began, the Knights swiftly arranged for the Celestial Dragons to take shelter.

Then they prepared to support the Five Elders at the front.

But they were intercepted by the demons.

Before them stood several figures, led by one clad in steel armor, each exuding an aura not to be underestimated.

Because of this, Garling's God Knights couldn't reach Pangea Castle immediately.

"You humans look quite impressive. I can't help but want to reap you."

Among the demons blocking the God Knights, one wielding a massive blood-red scythe sized up the group.

His glowing red eyes lingered on Garling.

He could sense this man's strength was the greatest, among knights and he was eager to see him sliced apart bit by bit.

This demon's name is Yonglu, he was born from humanity's fear of slaughter.

"Leave this human to me. Pick your own targets."

As Yonglu fixed his gaze on Garling, the lead demon made a decision.

"Hahaha! War King, let me take this one! I love cutting down the strong!"

Yonglu laughed heartily at Garling.

"No way. You don't even have a domain, you would barely stand a chance. Pick someone else. Besides, I want a strong opponent too!"

The armored War King rejected Yonglu without hesitation, then issued an invitation to Garling.

"Human warrior! Follow me if you don't want to involve the others."

Garling assessed his team and the enemy's, made arrangements, and followed.

He planned to defeat this demon quickly and return to aid the others.

These demons were uncanny and powerful, facing them together posed too many variables.

For demons to brazenly invade Marijoa, this couldn't be overlooked.

As a Celestial Dragon defender, Garling valued their honor highly, and this invasion infuriated him.

For now, his priority was defeating the steel-clad demon before him. As a former champion of the Valley of the Gods, Garling had the confidence.

"You seem quite composed, human."

After leading Garling a short distance, War King turned to face him, its voice carrying a sharp metallic edge.

"Let me introduce myself: I am War King, one of the Nine Demon Lords. A warrior like you is perfect to test my limits."

The Nine Demon Lords were the strongest nine among the highest-ranking demons. Originally formed by the first nine to emerge, the title later became a competitive rank.

Currently, there were thirteen top-tier demons, so competition wasn't too fierce yet.

That might change as demons could grow, their potential tied to the abilities they were born with, and more top-tier demons would emerge.

Surveying the chaotic battlefield, War King finished speaking without waiting for Garling's reply.

He raised a hand and activated its power.

"Domain Expansion!"

Garling watched as the demon gestured.

The surroundings shifted.

Endless yellow sand, ceaseless winds, strewn weapons, tattered flags, and corpses littered the ground.
