One Piece: Ero Saiyan

Chapter 11: Easy opponent -09

Peter crossed his arms and slowly descended from the air. The moment he laid eyes on them, he instantly recognized who they were.

Among them was the bald man dressed like a monk — clearly Mr. 1, Crocodile's loyal subordinate in the future.

As for the woman... honestly, Peter had already forgotten her name. He just vaguely remembered her as the one who could turn into a "hedgehog" and gave Nami a rough beating.

"A woman..." Peter muttered, eyeing Miss Doublefinger while rubbing his chin.

She wore a black leather jacket and high heels. Her figure was slim, almost broomstick-thin, and entirely lacking in softness.

And that hairstyle? Like a bowl of ramen noodles. Her thick lips didn't help either.

Nope — totally not my type. My heart can't accept this.

Peter bluntly concluded out loud that she was unattractive.

Hearing that, Miss Doublefinger froze in shock. Did this bastard just insult her looks?

Crack—

Her knuckles cracked loudly as she clenched her fists in rage.

"Mr. 1, do you mind if I deal with this scumbag myself?"

Feeling the murderous aura radiating off his partner, Mr. 1 nodded silently.

The moment she got his approval, she charged straight toward Peter without hesitation.

Mr. 1, meanwhile, paid her no mind. He turned instead to look at the approaching sailboat.

Their mission was primarily to retrieve the Vice President, but since his partner was enraged, the man who provoked her was as good as dead.

However, just as he turned to glance at the battle—

Boom!

Miss Doublefinger flew backward at a speed faster than her initial dash and crashed violently into the ruins of a nearby house.

His expression blank, Mr. 1 stared at his partner — now half-buried under debris, with only her legs sticking out. Whether she was dead or alive was unclear.

A bead of cold sweat rolled down Mr. 1's forehead.

He suddenly turned his head to check where Peter had been standing—only to find no one there.

"Looking for me?"

Came a mocking voice from behind him.

Before Mr. 1 could react, Peter swung his left arm and struck the back of his head.

Even though Mr. 1 had the Dice-Dice Fruit and his body was as hard as steel, the blow made it feel like his skull had cracked open. Pain exploded across his nerves, and his consciousness began to fade.

Boom!

He flipped three times in the air before crashing to the ground like a discarded rag doll.

By the time Peter walked over, Mr. 1's eyes had rolled back and foam was dripping from his mouth — he was completely knocked out.

Peter nudged his stomach lightly with his foot, a touch of surprise on his face.

"Hey, hey... You're down already? I didn't think you'd fold from just one punch!"

After all, both of them were Devil Fruit users, and this was Peter's first time fighting one. He had gone all out without holding back.

"I didn't think they'd be this useless…" he muttered. "Just one punch and one kick... How disappointing."

No matter how he kicked or shouted, Mr. 1 remained motionless. Peter could only conclude that he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon.

"Tch, what a waste!"

With a spit, Peter turned and walked back to the pier.

Since the fight had ended so quickly, the ship hadn't even docked yet.

Over twenty minutes later, Robin finally appeared on deck, dressed conservatively—perhaps to cover up certain... marks. Her face was pale as she walked behind a few of her subordinates toward Peter.

Pulling her coat tighter around her, Robin looked at the two unconscious bodies on the ground and then at Peter with a complicated expression.

"Seems you're stronger than I expected."

"So what now? Planning to challenge our boss and take over Baroque Works yourself?"

"Hey—Vice President, what are you saying?!"

Some of her subordinates, caught off guard, began to murmur in confusion.

But seeing the state Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger were in, unconscious and unmoving, a few more informed ones quickly silenced the others and gave them subtle signals.

Peter noticed all their little gestures and smirked.

"I do have a plan. Right now, aside from continuing the family line…" —he grinned— "…I'm just looking for a good fight."

Then his gaze turned to Robin.

"But seriously, why are you wearing all that in this heat?"

Robin's expression turned flat. Why? Did he really not know?

Of course, it was to prevent this lecher from getting ideas again.

To avoid any further teasing, she quickly changed the subject.

"Since you want to challenge the boss, I'll help you contact him. But let's make one thing clear — we're all just bystanders. We'll side with whoever wins."

The rest of Baroque Works nodded eagerly. For them, it didn't matter who the boss was — as long as life went on peacefully.

"Fine by me. Just grab some popcorn and enjoy the show."

Peter waved his hand casually and asked Robin to contact Crocodile.

Robin pulled out the Den Den Mushi, which she used to stay in touch with Crocodile, and relayed the situation.

"Tell that fool to wait. I'll crush him myself when I arrive."

With that, the line cut off.

"He talks big for someone who's not that strong," Peter muttered, taking the Den Den Mushi and toying with it curiously.

Robin ignored him and gave orders to have Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger carried back onto the ship so they could watch what happened next.

But before she could slip away, Peter stopped her.

"There's still time before he shows up. How about we explore the town?"

Robin deftly pulled her hand from his and crossed her arms in refusal.

"Sorry. My body's in no condition for that. Go find someone else."

"If that's how it is…" She turned slightly and pointed at the unconscious Miss Doublefinger, her body dusty and scratched.

"…you can take that one instead."

"No way. She's nowhere near as charming, clever, or beautiful as you."

Peter firmly rejected the idea, and without giving Robin another chance to object, he scooped her up in a princess carry and flew off toward the city.

"Got like three free days ahead so I figured—why not use 'em to drop a mass release?

Starting now... or maybe a few hours after I wake up, I'll be posting a bunch all at once.

[Don't forget to throw some stones at me!]
