One Piece: Ero Saiyan

Chapter 12: Against the Shichibukai -10

While Peter and Robin were strolling through the city, and the Baroque Works agents were fleeing on the ship, Crocodile—far away in Rainbase—turned into rolling yellow sand and rushed toward the port of baylangua.

This time, the enemy was far stronger than he had expected—even the duo of Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger had been defeated by him.

Given the circumstances, there was no need to summon other top agents. Crocodile had personally decided to execute the bastard who dared to provoke him.

While soaring through the dusty desert, Crocodile suddenly noticed that the sky seemed overly bright.

"Strange… it should be afternoon. Why is it still this bright? Could it be…"

Looking up, he saw a full white moon hanging in the clear blue sky.

"Hahaha… A full moon, huh? Sending that bastard off under the moonlight will be quite a pleasure. Hope he appreciates my generosity... haha..."

With that, Crocodile increased his speed, laughing in fury.

In the bedroom, Robin—physically exhausted—lay sprawled across the bed, eyes lifeless and full of resentment, staring at the ceiling.

"Hss~ Why isn't he here yet?"

Suddenly, with a loud bang, the door swung open and Peter walked in happily, holding several bags full of clothes.

"This place isn't half bad. Just a small supply port for bounty hunters, yet it even has a clothing shop. Look, Robin! I bought all your favorite outfits!"

He pulled out a seductive dancer costume from one of the bags, prompting Robin to weakly complain:

"Clearly you're the one who likes it. If I can help it, I never want to wear that kind of outfit in my life."

"We'll see about that…"

Peter ignored her protest entirely, already planning to make her wear every single outfit that night.

Robin simply closed her eyes, trying to ignore him.

Seeing this, Peter finally stopped teasing her, realizing her body couldn't take any more.

"Looks like I'll need to find a new 'partner' soon if I want to keep boosting my power."

He sat on a nearby chair and checked his status panel. Seeing that his combat power had increased by 1.5, he began considering replacement candidates.

First, Princess Vivi must not be allowed to escape. Second, he had to wait for the Straw Hats to arrive and capture Nami.

For now, finding a few beautiful girls to 'work with' seemed like a logical step.

After gaining more power, Peter had become more selective. He no longer had any interest in women like Miss Doublefinger. He wanted someone at least on the level of Robin or Nami—or just slightly below.

Robin was just about to doze off in rare comfort when Peter suddenly opened his eyes, stared in a particular direction, and whispered:

"He's finally here… Want to go out and greet your boss?"

Robin gave a silent nod. She wasn't excited to greet anyone—she simply wanted to watch the fight.

But before that...

She pulled the blanket around herself and said hesitantly:

"Can you step outside? I need to get dressed."

"Why so shy? It's not like I haven't seen it all before," Peter said, unmoving.

"Ugh…"

He gave her a few more glances, then finally looked away—not because the view wasn't appealing, but because Crocodile had arrived.

"It's a full moon tonight. When you come out, make sure not to get in the way."

With those words, he left the room.

Robin stared at the moonlight shining through the window in confusion, not understanding the deeper meaning behind Peter's words.

"A full moon? Does that have any special meaning?"

Unable to figure it out, she quickly got dressed and rushed out of the room, sprinting out of the city and up a nearby dune to watch the battle.

From her vantage point, she could see two figures standing atop a rooftop, facing each other beneath the bright moonlight, ready for a fight to the death.

Despite seeing Crocodile cloaked in his usual attire, holding a cigar and radiating the aura of an untouchable boss, Peter couldn't help but complain:

"Hey, we've been standing like this for five minutes. Can you stop with the theatrics and just hit me already? We're not filming a movie here, you know!"

"Hmph! First, you stole my Vice President. Then you defeated my strongest subordinates.

I expected someone terrifying, but it turns out you're just some kid I don't even recognize.

Baroque Works has truly gone rotten if I, the boss, have to handle this myself."

"Sorry I'm not famous," Peter replied sarcastically, feeling a little insulted.

But there was nothing he could do. He'd only been in this world for a few days. Not even fame—barely anyone even knew who he was.

"But you'll know me soon. Once I defeat you, Shichibukai, the world will know my name!"

"Tch. Another dumb brat who thinks taking down a Shichibukai will make him famous.

If you're so eager to die, allow me to help you."

Without another word, Crocodile raised his right arm and unleashed a sharp sand blade from the ground upward:

Desert Spada!

The rooftop was sliced clean in an instant, the cut as smooth as a polished mirror.

But Peter smacked the sand blade aside with his palm, filled with ki energy.

"That attack didn't even tickle. Embarrassing, really."

Being quite skilled at trash talk himself, Peter's taunts only infuriated Crocodile further.

"Then take this...

Heavy Sandstorm!"

A small whirlwind gathered in Crocodile's palm—weak at first—but then exploded into a massive sandstorm that engulfed the entire city and swallowed Peter whole.

This was one of Crocodile's signature moves. As a Logia-type Sand Fruit user, he could manipulate the desert environment and unleash disasters at will.

And in a place like Alabasta, where sand was everywhere, Crocodile was like a fish in water—his power even more terrifying than elsewhere.
