One Piece: Ero Saiyan

Chapter 49: Peter × Mihawk (2)-47

It must be said—Zoro truly deserves to be the one Luffy cares for. His nerves of steel and his unparalleled talent for irritating others are unmatched.

Perospero was on the verge of a breakdown from this man's infuriating replies.

Still, as a seasoned pirate, Perospero managed to pick up the key words in Zoro's talk.

"Hawk-eyed man? Could it be... Dracule Mihawk of the Shichibukai? Is he also in the East Blue?"

Narrowing his eyes, he said:

"Boy, tell me everything you know about Hawkeye, and maybe... just maybe, I'll let you go."

Hawkeye was a cunning man, and even Perospero himself wouldn't dare make a move without gathering some intel first—just in case.

But Zoro didn't detect the veiled threat in Perospero's tone. He simply assumed this was yet another swordsman coming to challenge Mihawk, like himself.

"Mihawk? I think he got into a fight with a weird guy with a long tail at Baratie, that floating restaurant in the middle of the sea."

Then, with a serious tone, as he gripped the hilt of his sword at his waist, he added:

"I wanted to challenge him, but I don't even know how I ended up here."

He then stepped forward and declared:

"Let's make a deal. Once we find him, I'm challenging him first. Get in line behind me."

Perospero trembled with rage.

"Challenge him?! Why does he have to go after my target exactly?!"

He began nervously rubbing his tall hat, and with all the heavy makeup on his face, he looked even more grotesque than usual.

Finally, after tremendous effort, he had managed to track Peter all the way from Alabasta, across the Calm Belt and its dangers, to reach the East Blue.

"I still don't get how we didn't encounter a single Sea King crossing the Calm Belt... Weird."

But what he hadn't expected was to arrive only to hear that his target had already entered into a fight—with Hawkeye!

"Hawkeye... the greatest swordsman in the world. One of the Shichibukai. He's on a completely different level!"

"And this idiot thinks he can stand up to Mihawk just because he beat Crocodile?!"

"Crocodile is nothing compared to Hawkeye!"

(Crocodile: "Damn it! I'm already dead, don't embarrass me further, Kyo...")

There was no point in scolding Peter now. He had to save him before Hawkeye destroyed him.

"Please... I hope Hawkeye will have some mercy for the sake of my poor mother..." Perospero muttered anxiously, then suddenly turned to Zoro and demanded:

"Enough talking! Tell me where Hawkeye is, and I'll take you straight to him!"

Zoro, suddenly touched by his sincerity, said:

"Uncle, I didn't realize you were such a kind soul."

Then he turned toward the calm sea and pointed instinctively to the northwest, saying:

"I came from that direction."

Perospero responded with conviction:

"Full speed ahead! Don't let the target get away!"

One had the audacity to point, and the other had the nerve to believe it. And so, the ship set sail—headed in the complete opposite direction from Baratie.

Meanwhile...

"Amazing! So amazing! This is the first time I've truly enjoyed a fight since arriving in this world!" Peter shouted, full of excitement.

As expected, Hawkeye's strength was on a whole other level compared to that weakling Crocodile!

As the smoke and dust cleared, Hawkeye appeared—his clothes torn, hair disheveled—only to face a fresh onslaught from Peter.

Under the brutal blows, Hawkeye seemed cornered. The more the fight dragged on, the more exhausted he became.

Peter, on the other hand, looked like he was on performance enhancers. The Saiyan blood within him was boiling, and he had completely surrendered to the joy of battle.

Even though he was holding back his power intentionally, he could no longer suppress the thrill during the fight.

In a world of pirates, where superhuman bodies were the norm, it was refreshing to find a foe who could endure like a living punching bag.

A few random kicks or punches wouldn't kill Hawkeye so easily.

Hawkeye, for his part, had his pride. Every time he hit the ground, he gritted his teeth, got back up, and kept fighting.

It was truly a glorious feeling.

"Haaa..."

Peter kicked his opponent once again into the sea, then leapt into the air, hovering as he announced:

"This will be my final attack. If you survive it, I'll acknowledge you as a worthy opponent."

He twisted his body mid-air, placed the back of his right hand over his left palm, and began gathering a massive amount of violet energy.

Down below, Hawkeye's armored vest had been completely shredded. Blood poured from his mouth, and his body was riddled with wounds.

He finally emerged from the water, clutching a piece of wreckage from Krieg's ship, gasping for breath.

When he looked up at Peter—glowing in the sky with a terrifying violet aura—he nearly fainted.

"What is this monster?! With this kind of power, why hasn't he gone to the New World to challenge the Four Emperors?!"

"What the hell is he doing in the East Blue?!"

With great effort, he climbed onto the wooden plank, gripped his black sword with both hands, and braced for the incoming attack.

"I'll fight with everything I've got... If I don't stop him now, I won't get out of this alive."

At that moment, as the chaos escalated, Zeff ordered the chefs to move Baratie away from the battlefield.

Robin looked up at Peter in the sky, preparing his devastating attack. Her face turned pale as she shouted:

"Move! Evacuate the area now! The next attack is no joke!"

She was the first to rush toward the restaurant, dragging Vivi with her, looking for something to hold onto.

Hina and Mikita followed suit, both running for cover.

At that moment, Carina came running and spotted Nami and the others standing dumbfounded.

She shouted as she grabbed Nami's wrist and pulled:

"Don't just stand there like an idiot! Peter's serious this time! I've never seen him like this!"

She dragged her toward the restaurant, where Hina was forming a black prison to shield the others. She pushed Nami inside and followed.

Hina sealed the cage with iron bars, then shouted:

"Black Cage! Full Lockdown!"

Up in the sky, as the energy in Peter's palms reached its peak, he roared:

"Haaaah! Galick Cannon!!"

A massive violet beam shot down from the heavens, as thick as a human torso.

Hawkeye instantly sensed the overwhelming power hidden within it, and his face turned ghostly pale...
