At Sabaody Archipelago, the Five Elders glared at Kaido, their faces twisted in anger as Kaido's laughter filled the air. Though Kaido alone was a formidable force, he was nothing compared to the might of the World Government. However, now that the Entei Pirates, the Red Hair Pirates, two complete crews of the Four Emperors had gathered, the situation was different.

The Entei Pirates, in particular, stood out.

While Ace had always caused chaos across the seas, disturbing the balance of power with incidents like the invasion of Enies Lobby, the Five Elders had never truly considered him a significant threat. Before this public execution, Ace had been low on their list of priorities. They were far more concerned with the established threats of the Four Emperors and the Revolutionary Army.

Even labeling him the "Fifth Emperor of the Sea" was partly meant to placate him, rather than fully acknowledge his power. This attitude was reflected in the bounty placed on his head—1.18 billion Berries. Although this was an impressive sum, it paled in comparison to the bounties of the Four Emperors. For example, the highest bounty, belonging to Whitebeard, exceeded 5 billion Berries, and even Kaido's right-hand man, King the Conflagration, had a bounty of 1.39 billion.

A bounty is often seen as the clearest reflection of a pirate's reputation and strength on the seas. For a newly emerged pirate like Ace, the bounty of 1.18 billion marked him as a target for countless ambitious pirates. Taking down Ace was seen as an achievable goal compared to challenging one of the veteran Four Emperors. This was precisely why the World Government had placed such a calculated bounty on his head, as if daring someone to challenge his claim to the title of Fifth Emperor.

From their perspective, while Ace showed promise and possessed dangerous potential, he couldn't yet match the power and dominance of the Four Emperors, who had ruled over the New World for years. They controlled vast territories and commanded massive fleets of allied pirate crews—resources that the Entei Pirates could not match. Or so they thought.

Today's events had shattered that assumption.

In just a year at sea, Ace had built a force rivaling, and perhaps even surpassing, that of the Four Emperors. Under his command were two individuals with Admiral-level strength: Nami, the navigator of the Entei Pirates and wielder of the awakened Thunder Fruit; and the enigmatic fighter Issho, the second division captain, who possessed gravity Devil Fruit ability and could go head-to-head with the Marine Admirals.

Others within Ace's ranks were not far behind in power. There was Raki, the fleet's chef and user of the Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Suzaku, with strength above most Admiral candidates. Then there was Vivi, the Entei Pirates' combatant and wielder of the Sand-Sand Fruit. Crocodile, a former Warlord of the Sea and master of mysterious abilities, had also joined the fold. Even the self-proclaimed god, Enel, who was rumored to have once possessed the Thunder Fruit, was among Ace's dangerous allies.

The Entei Pirates, under Ace's leadership, had become a terrifying force—a legion of superpowered individuals with Devil Fruit abilities. And as if that weren't enough, Ace had attracted the legendary pirate Silver Rayleigh, once the right-hand man of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. His return to action carried the potential to reunite the remaining former Roger Pirates.

But the most dangerous of all was Ace himself.

Not only did he carry the bloodline of Roger, the Pirate King, but Ace had also inherited the will of the greatest pirate crew to ever sail the Grand Line. His leadership, his ambition, and his rapidly growing power had proven that he was no ordinary pirate—he was a rising force, one capable of challenging the very pillars of the world.

The Five Elders could no longer deny the reality before them. They had gravely underestimated Portgas D. Ace, and now, they were facing the consequences.

His Conqueror's Haki is unparalleled, standing on par with legends like the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and the once undisputed ruler of the seas, Rocks D. Xebec.

In Ace's hands, the power of the Mera-Mera Fruit has far surpassed the natural limits of flame manipulation, enabling him to generate fire hotter than 10,000 degrees, reducing even the Lava-Lava Fruit's abilities to an inferior Devil Fruit. His mastery of this power, combined with the might of an awakened Mythical Beast form and the Remnant Flame style, makes him a force capable of crushing the Five Elders one-on-one, despite their immortality. It would take at least two or three of them working together to fight him on even ground.

This man stands at the pinnacle of the current era's seas.

Flame Emperor, Portgas D. Ace.

The combined might of the Entei Pirate Fleet now exceeds that of any single Four Emperors pirate crew. Though they have yet to assemble a force comparable to the legendary powers of Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Big Mom, Kaido, Ochoku, Captain John, or Silver Axe—the dominant powers of a bygone era—the Entei Pirates are rapidly moving in that direction.

Today, the full might of the Entei Pirates is enough to rival even the entirety of Naval Headquarters.

From the unfolding public execution, it is clear that without the intervention of the World Government, the naval forces alone would face total collapse against the Entei Pirate Fleet's relentless assault.

Even Whitebeard, the man once known as the world's strongest, with his vast influence, couldn't accomplish such a feat against Marineford. But Ace? He has announced to the world that even the Celestial Dragons, who were once seen as untouchable, could be killed by something as simple as an ordinary bullet.

Such dangerous ideas spread by Ace—a born criminal, in the eyes of the World Government—are enough to drive the Five Elders into panic. As long as Ace is alive, they can never feel secure. His demise at Sabaody Archipelago is the only thing that could restore their sense of control.

The Five Elders have personally arrived and have launched a Super Buster Call on the archipelago with one clear objective: to utterly annihilate the threat posed by Portgas D. Ace and bury the Entei Pirates for good.

But now…

The Five Elders' faces twisted in grim expressions as two additional forces entered the battlefield.

Red-Haired Shanks and his Red Hair Pirates had arrived, along with the so-called "strongest creature in the world"—Kaido of the Beasts, in his Azure Dragon form. Once a prized possession of the World Government, this Devil Fruit should have been awarded to the Knights of God during the infamous God Valley incident.

Earlier, the combined strength of the Five Elders was enough to contend with both the Red Hair Pirates and the Entei Pirates. However, with Kaido's sudden arrival, the balance of power was dangerously tipped toward Ace's side.

Even more troubling is the fact that Ace's Entei Pirate Fleet is a "super-powered army" built by the man himself. Nearly every member wields a powerful and highly lethal Devil Fruit ability, turning them into an unstoppable force. While these Devil Fruits come with their own limitations and weaknesses, their advantages far outweigh the drawbacks.

This is the power of the Devil Fruits.

Without such abilities, even a Four Emperors-level pirate like Shanks would need to rely solely on his Conqueror's Haki to dominate the battlefield in large-scale, legion-style fights. But with Devil Fruit powers, one could unleash widespread destruction with ease.

Within the Entei Pirates, abilities like the Thunder Fruit, Sand-Sand Fruit, and the Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Suzaku, have devastating potential. Others, like the Shadow Fruit, Ghost Fruit, Vocal Fruit, and Healing Fruit, could be equally dangerous in large-scale battles.

The most fearsome of all, though, is Ace himself—whose powers can transform the battlefield into a blazing inferno, a hellish landscape far more dangerous than even the earth's molten core.

And now, with Kaido's power to manipulate nature through his Azure Dragon form added to the mix, the marines are at real risk of being wiped out entirely. A mass death, or even the sinking of the naval forces, seems terrifyingly possible.

To the Five Elders, casualties among the Marines or even the death of a Vice Admiral were inconsequential. Apart from the Celestial Dragons, most others were seen as little more than disposable pawns. However, if the Navy were to suffer catastrophic losses or collapse completely here, even the Five Elders could not afford to bear such a cost.

Among the Shichibukai, Dracule Mihawk—Hawkeye, the world's greatest swordsman—shares a strong bond with Shanks. Even if he does not outright defect, his allegiances could prevent him from fighting at full strength.

The Five Elders now found themselves in a precarious situation, where even their best-laid plans were unraveling at the hands of the very forces they had underestimated.

The other Shichibukai had their own personal agendas, further complicating the situation.

Bartholomew Kuma, once the most obedient to the World Government due to concerns over his daughter, appeared to have concealed the events at Thriller Bark. Moria had somehow survived despite. Ace stripping him of the Shadow Fruit's power—a fact that did not escape the Five Elders. It was clear that there was more going on behind the scenes.

As for the Pirate Empress, her stance was even more peculiar. Jinbei, the sea knight, couldn't be fully trusted either. Doflamingo, in his paranoia over Kaido and Ace, not to mention his wariness of Mihawk, had even gone so far as to stage the Shichibukai scandal in front of the world.

If the situation turned unfavorable, the fragile alliance of the Shichibukai would likely collapse. The disintegration of the Shichibukai, combined with a Naval Headquarters defeat at the Sabaody Archipelago, would throw the seas into chaos, irreparably breaking the balance of power.

And with dangerous ideas like those of Portgas D. Ace spreading from this very battlefield, such an imbalance would only create fertile ground for even more rapid and destabilizing growth.

Faced with this perilous reality, even the Five Elders found themselves in a dilemma.

Although they wielded the highest authority in the world, they were still beholden to Lord Imu. And when it came to upending the balance of the sea, not even they could afford to act hastily.

Kaido's sudden entry into the fray had shattered the equilibrium of the battlefield. The Five Elders' expressions darkened as they sat in prolonged silence, wrestling with the consequences.

"What do you say? Wouldn't a ceasefire benefit both sides?" Shanks' voice broke the tension, his sharp eyes locking onto the silent elders.

"A ceasefire? Stop joking, Red Hair!" Kaido roared before the Five Elders could respond. "Do you think I'm here for a truce? What I want is to revel in this war!"

Kaido's long-standing ambition was to ignite the greatest war the world had ever seen. The artificial Devil Fruit army he had painstakingly built was all in preparation for such a global conflict.

From the live broadcasts, Kaido had learned that not only was the Naval Headquarters involved, but the Five Elders themselves had joined this all-out war. No longer interested in clashing with Shanks, Kaido had rushed to Sabaody Archipelago to immerse himself in the chaos.

As he had made clear to the Five Elders, his original target may have been Ace, but Kaido's real aim was the war itself. If the balance shifted in Ace and Shanks' favor, he would join their side to fight the World Government and the Navy. And if the tides turned the other way, he would happily switch sides to battle Ace and the Red-Hair Pirates.

Kaido's only goal was to keep the conflict burning until the last man stood!

"This is war! This is enjoyment!" Kaido bellowed, his voice filled with reckless glee.

The Five Elders, who had always regarded Kaido as a madman, could only watch as the war spiraled further out of control. Faction loyalty meant nothing to Kaido—he craved only the ultimate war.

"Hey, old men! You're outgunned now. Why don't you call for backup? Bring out the Knights of God! I didn't get to enjoy myself enough during the God Valley Incident!" Kaido taunted the elders with a booming laugh.

For Kaido, forcing the pampered, self-indulgent nobles onto the battlefield was the only way to achieve equality and freedom. In his twisted view, war alone could determine the true value of a person.

Killing the Knights of God? That was right in line with Kaido's warped ideology.

Shanks, meanwhile, glanced at the Five Elders, his voice cutting through the chaos. "What now? Kaido's clearly gone mad, and Whitebeard is also on his way here. If you don't bring the Knights of God into this, your entire Marine force will fall. But if they do come, how many will survive?"

Shanks paused, his eyes narrowing. "A truce. We can handle Kaido together."

Kaido might have been a war-driven maniac, but even madmen could be leveraged. Shanks knew Kaido well—once war started, Kaido would inevitably target whichever side held the advantage, be it the World Government or Ace. Kaido was not loyal to any cause but the thrill of war itself.

Kaido turned his gaze toward Ben Beckman, who stood calmly beside Shanks, exhaling smoke as if the chaos unfolding was of little concern. "Ben Beckman… are you treating me like a pawn? Do you think you can manipulate me?!"

Kaido's face twisted into a menacing grin. In an instant, his form shifted back to human, and his ferocious Conqueror's Haki surged, enveloping his massive kanabo.

"Thunder Bagua!" Kaido roared, swinging his weapon toward Beckman with tremendous force, his Conqueror's Haki tearing through the air.

Beckman didn't flinch. He simply exhaled another puff of smoke, showing no concern for Kaido's outburst. Containing Kaido was part of the plan—negotiations had to continue.

The Five Elders, too, understood that Kaido's attack was nothing more than a trigger to escalate the war. The moment the World Government or the Naval Headquarters engaged fully, Kaido would shift targets and turn his wrath on them.

Kaido was indeed a war-crazed beast, impossible to control.

Suddenly, a powerful presence ignited, and flames filled the air. A figure burning brighter than the sun itself appeared before Kaido, stopping the mace in mid-swing.

It was Ace.

In an instant, the clashing Conqueror's Haki enveloped the battlefield.

Ace's grip tightened around Kaido's kanabo, stopping the blow in its tracks. The raw power of his Haki made Kaido's attack immovable.

"You're being rude to my guests," Ace said with a smile, locking eyes with Kaido, who now looked far more serious.

"Fire Emperor…" Kaido muttered darkly.
