One Piece: I Reincarnated as Ace with a system

Chapter 3: Chapter 3

'Ace, where are you going? "Out." It's been 5 years since I died and transmigrated as Ace in the One Piece world.

It seems it will take a few years before I meet Luffy, but I have been training since the day I was born. I train every chance I get, be it morning or afternoon, with pushups, situps, jumping jacks, climbing trees, fighting animals, and practicing with that wooden sword.

To be honest, it has been tougher than I imagined training every day, but it pays off because I don't know how strong the five-year-old Ace was, but I know he wouldn't stand a chance against me. 'Be sure to bring food.' "Yeah, whatever".

A few times a week, I go to the gray terminal and fight a few thugs, and test my strength to see where I stand. Another reason I've been going to Gray Terminal is to see if I can find Sabo, it should be around the time the original Ace met him, but there's no luck, at least not yet.

It seems he's not here yet, so I'm a lone wolf running laps around the gray terminal, fighting the occasional tough guy for his valuables. I sometimes wonder if I will get a system like the novels I always read in my past life, but I am now five years old and haven't gotten one yet. Well, it would've been my pleasure to get a system to help me get stronger faster. Unfortunately, I don't have one. Well, I'll just make do with what I have.

As soon as I get a little stronger, I'll go to the Goa kingdom and go get Sabo. I know he's starting to feel miserable. Man, I know I'm strong for a five-year-old, but to be honest, I don't think I'm ready for Edge Town just yet. Man, after a practice like that, I'm a little tired. Let me find a resting place so I can sleep for a while

I woke up three hours later and decided to hunt a big crocodile by luring it out of the water. "I'm back, "I tell Dadan and the rest of the mountain bandits while dragging the crocodile.

I give the crocodile meat to Dadan and the mountain bandits and go back out to train while they cook the food. That's the routine, you see, I go hunt and train, and they cook it, and I get the size I want, and no one complains.

During the last few months, I've been thinking I don't want just nine or ten guys in my crew like Luffy and Shanks, and I don't want more than thirty like Roger. I want around fifteen to twenty people for my crew, just like Law.

So, besides Luffy's crew members, who else should I recruit to join my crew? Jinbe was a warlord. I was thinking maybe some other people from the seven warlords, but man, most of them are jerks, I'll do just fine without them.

Out of the Seven, the only three that catch my interest are Hawkeye, Mihawk, Boa Hancock, and Bartholomew Kuma. Neither Kuma nor Jinbe is a warlord yet, and even Hawkeye is a warlord at this point, and poor Hancock is still a slave to the celestial dragon at this time.

Thank heavens for Fisher-Tiger, because if he didn't organize that attack on Marijoie, poor Hancock and her sisters might have died. I know if he is still alive, I would want him to be a member of my crew, but unfortunately, Koala's mother and the entire Foolshout island will eventually backstab him and sell him out to the navy. What Arlong did to Belle-mere, Nami, and the entire Cocoyashi village was wrong, but sometimes I empathize with him just a little bit.

The warlord that the original Ace eventually defeated was Hanafuda Kaido's associate, leaving a space for Kuma to replace. Knowing Kaido, who was hungry for devil fruits to make his army of devil fruit soldiers, the original Ace defeats Hanafuda. I don't think Kaido lets that slide easily, but Ace got lucky because Kaido couldn't touch Ace because soon after he was defeated and joined Whitebeard's crew.

Everything is making sense now because the warlord Hanafuda was defeated by Ace Joker, who is also known as Doflamingo, and was able to approach Kaido and offer the smile deal to him. he couldn't get real devil fruits from Hanafuda anymore, so he started buying artificial devil fruits from Doflamingo.

Recruiting Hawkeye sounds nice, unfortunately, he's already a made man in the Grandline, known far and wide as the Marine Hunter. I read about an incident he was involved in the papers a few weeks ago. I don't think he would want to join my crew. Besides, if I have Zoro in my crew, it doesn't make sense to also have Hawkeye.
