One Piece: Sky Dragon

Chapter 9: Chapter 9 Ready to set sails

Soon, half a year had passed.

Because of Morgan, the Five Elders no longer send Stussy to watch over Cassius. A capable CP0 agent will naturally be used in more important places.

Although half a year is not a long time, everyone's strength has improved.

Cassius: Basic proficiency in every type of Haki and basic Marine combat skills. Although this is already a very good result for the Marines, Cassius, who is only 14 years old, is not very tall, which also affects some of his fighting abilities. His estimated combat power is at the level of a warrant officer.

Boa Hancock: Basic proficiency in Armament and Observation Haki, basic Marine combat skills, and basic-level application of the Mero Mero no Mi. Like Cassius, her fighting skills are affected by her body shape, but the petrification ability of the Mero Mero no Mi has greatly enhanced her combat effectiveness. Her estimated combat power is at the level of a lieutenant.

Boa Sandersonia: Basic proficiency in Armament and Observation Haki, elementary Marine combat skills, and elementary application of the Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Anaconda. Her estimated combat power is at the second lieutenant level.

Marigold is nearly the same as Sandersonia.

Fisher Tiger: Skilled in Fish-Man Karate and proficient in Fish-Man jujutsu. Because he is a fishman, Tiger cannot stay outside openly. Cassius can only find some Neptune-type training grounds for him. Unfortunately, Morgan also has issues with fishmen and doesn't like them very much, so although he agrees to teach Hancock and the others how to use Haki, he refuses to teach Tiger. Despite this, Tiger remains very strong. He is as capable as a Captain on land and may be a high-level midfielder in the sea, comparable to a Captain's strength.

Koala: At the very beginning level of Marine combat skills. Because she is too young to use Haki, she can only learn some basic fighting techniques for now, but she should be able to protect herself to a certain extent. Her estimated combat strength is at the level of a handyman.

Morgan: Proficient in Rokushiki, intermediate level of Armament and Observation Haki, skilled in wine glass boxing, with an estimated combat power at the level of a Rear Admiral.

Morgan hasn't fought in many years, but the fighting instinct is still deeply ingrained in his muscles. From time to time, he encounters gangsters in the tavern and has developed a set of wine glass boxing techniques. Although it's difficult to perfect, he must be under Cassius now, and his strength is among the best. If given the chance, he could truly shine.

The resources Cassius has can turn anyone in the world into a skilled fighter. Now that the resources are available to him, only their physical development remains. Their short stature prevents them from fully harnessing their strength. Cassius is planning to officially set sail in a few years.

However, Cassius, having just gained power, was eager to explore the world. Although he couldn't officially declare his departure to go to the sea, he could still visit privately and incognito, using his identity as a Celestial Dragon.

After considering the route, Cassius realized that since the Marines of this era had not yet developed a way to smoothly cross the Calm Belt, there was basically no other way to enter the Four Blues except through the Red Line.

If I go to the East Blue, I could find Nami, but even if I do, she probably won't follow me.

If I go to the New World, I could try to find Kaidou, but with my current strength, it would probably be in vain. Kaidou wouldn't show any respect to a Celestial Dragon.

If I go to the West Blue, I could look for Robin, but even if I find her, as a Celestial Dragon, she likely wouldn't come with me.

If I go to the South Blue, I might discover if Bartholomew Kuma has joined the Revolutionary Army. This could be a good opportunity to get close to them.

But then again, would the Five Elders consider me a traitor and execute me on the spot?

Cassius felt a chill at the thought and decided to head to the North Blue.

The Germa Kingdom should be one of the World Government's countries now, and Doflamingo, who hasn't made his debut yet, is a person who knows how to play the game. He must be eager for insider information about the Celestial Dragons. Maybe I can pretend to work for him and use the opportunity to gain some benefits.

Cassius thought about it for a while and decided to head to the North Blue for a "private visit."

He was now in a familiar room, and the Five Elders were still in their usual positions. Cassius suspected that these five hadn't moved at all, yet the conversation continued as usual.

"I heard that you want to go to the North Blue?" one of the Elders asked.

Cassius was no longer as powerless as he had been the first time. Now, he carried himself with more confidence. After learning the basics of Haki, he couldn't yet be considered powerful, but he was certain he could withstand the same kind of Conqueror's Haki oppression he had experienced half a year ago. This time, he could handle it much better.

But it was obvious that the Five Elders were no longer as interested in him. They exchanged glances before one of them asked, "Why do you want to go there?"

Cassius shrugged, pretending not to care, and said, "Because I'm bored. I just want to go out and have a look."

Another member of the Five Elders said, "In that case, let me arrange a ship to the East Blue for you to represent the Celestial Dragons in visiting the allied nations there."

Cassius quickly shook his head and said, "I won't go there. It's the safest sea, right? I'm not interested in just feeling the sea breeze. If I were to visit an allied country, then I'd rather go to the Germa Kingdom in the North Blue. It won't take long."

Two of the Five Elders raised their eyebrows. At that moment, the third elder spoke up, "Then go, but if you're heading to the Germa Kingdom, you can't make a big spectacle of it. We can only arrange a small boat for you, and there will be people on board. We'll set up a few Den Den Mushi, one to contact the nearby Marine branch, one for Marine Headquarters, and one for the nearest Cipher Pol stronghold. The local Marines will accompany you throughout the entire journey. Is that acceptable?"

Cassius thought for a moment before finally nodding and saying, "No problem. And… I also want a Den Den Mushi for myself..."

After returning from the meeting with the Five Elders, Cassius wore a disappointed expression. Although he had gotten what he wanted, the Elders had placed another restriction on him.

That meant he couldn't take Tiger away from the Holy Land.

After all, no one could catch the Fish-Man once he entered the sea, so it seemed Tiger would have no choice but to stay behind during this operation.

Cassius, the three Boa sisters, Koala, and Morgan, a total of six people, would definitely not be enough if they were planning to go to the sea.

They would also need a navigator, a cook, and a helmsman.

Cassius had originally planned to scout for potential talents among the slaves, but he didn't expect that Marine Headquarters would catch wind of this. They directly sent a warship to escort them to the Marine branch closest to the Germa Kingdom, and then another Marine branch sent a warship to escort them further. The boat provided by the Five Elders had become little more than a decoration, its only purpose was to make Den Den Mushi calls.

The North Blue is known as the most chaotic of the Blues, and the main reason for that is the Germa Kingdom.

The king of the Germa Kingdom, Vinsmoke Judge, was researching some kind of technology with Vegapunk when the Five Elders discovered it. As a result, the Marines captured Vegapunk and hired him as a Marine scientist.

Judge escaped capture and, using his own research, successfully formed a force that the world came to know as Germa 66.

With this army, Judge swept across the four kingdoms of the North Blue, decimating their rulers and chopping off the heads of the kings to assert his dominance.

Today, at 39 years old, he is the king of the Germa Kingdom, the largest kingdom in the North Blue, and the commander-in-chief of Germa 66,

A warrior army composed entirely of clones!
