One Piece: Strength Incarnate

Chapter 3: Elend.

Sharks opened his eyes and saw that he was in an unfamiliar location. There were countless skulls on the ground and the sky above was dark. He noticed his injuries were gone but so was his sword and bag.

"Where the hell am I?" He asked himself as he looked around. He couldn't use his observation haki, something that only made him more weary. He noticed a huge red beam of light in the sky, so he did the obvious and made his way towards that. The entire ground was covered in skulls to the point where you couldn't see the actual ground. Once he made it to the huge beam of light, he began to realize this wasn't a beam of light.

It was a complex crystalline structure that branched into the sky. As he stared at the structure, a voice told him to touch it. He placed his hand on the structure and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. Years of information about a secret fourth ancient weapon began to pour into his head. The creation of the weapon, the purpose of the weapon, how to use the weapon, and most importantly the name of the weapon, Elend.

As Sharks was going through his information seizure, the crystalline structure began to crack. Crackles of black lightning only seen with Conqueror's Haki began to spark as the structure broke into pieces. Underneath the structure was a dark red energy that slowly flowed into the sky.

Sharks' information seizure soon ended and he slowly opened his eyes.

"I'm the inheritor of a secret ancient weapon created by of the First Twenty and it's whole purpose is to kill Joy Boy. Just saying that makes me feel insane, but I know I'm not." Sharks slowly stood up and stared at the red energy flowing into the sky.

"This must be the culminated Haki that the previous users absorbed from other people. It's a shame that this weapon was forgotten, but also probably a uhh...miracle? I think that's what Master called good acts of coincidence." Sharks then began to look around again, trying to find an exit.

"Y'know, for all the information that was forced into my brain, you could at least tell me how to get out of here..." Sharks said with annoyance. He walked around in circles for a moment before deciding to just touch the beam of red energy. He was quickly sucked in and was headed towards the sky at rapid speeds.

"I'm awake." Sharks mumbled to himself. His injuries were healed and judging by how Jester isn't in front of him to kill him, he guessed that no time had really passed. He drew his saber as bloodlust was oozing out of his body.

"I'm going to kill that bastard." Sharks felt Jester coming and quickly applied haki on his arms. Jester came from the sky hoping to crush Sharks with his giant fist. The ground below Sharks caved in but he blocked the heavy attack nonetheless.

"How are you still alive?! And what happened to your injuries?!" Jester questioned in anger. Sharks didn't reply and simply threw Jester's heavy fist off of him. Jester landed on the ground and Sharks quickly separated the distance between them.

Jester swung his giant fist but Sharks jumped over it and kicked him in the face. Jester stumbled backwards and Sharks closed the distanced between them again, this time priming a powerful punch to Jester's gut.

'Let's give Elend a try.' Sharks thought as he used some of the stored haki within Elend on top of his own. A dark red aura enshrouded his fist and black lightning crackled off of it.

"Hollow Impact." Sharks' fist made contact with Jester's torso and a gigantic explosion was born. This explosion destroyed every building behind Jester along with destroying his entire upper half, leaving only his legs.

Meanwhile Sharks was on his knee holding his arm. His arm was extremely thin and still had haki applied to it. Sharks groaned in pain because it felt like his arm was being sucked through a tube. After a few excruciating minutes, his arm returned to normal and breathed a deep sigh of relief.

"Maybe I shouldn't use so much stored haki next time, I destroyed a portion of the town and that pain is not something I want to go through again." Sharks said as he stared at the full moon through the hole Jester breached through. He then got up and made his way towards the dock. He thought about taking his old boat but then decided to just take the pirate ship, he killed their captain after all, he felt it belonged to him now.

"I don't like this jolly roger though. The merchant won't mind if I take a few items right?" Sharks then snuck into the merchant's shop and stole several sails. He then took down the old jolly roger and drew his own. It was a skull with a saber and stick of meat behind it.

"This ship is now owned by the Demon Eater crew!" Sharks said to himself proudly. He felt that since he was on a pirate ship, it must be commanded by a pirate crew. Although he mostly ignored pirates, he still thought some of them were cool. Sharks put up the jolly roger and undocked the boat. He then set course for his next island.

"I wonder what else Elend can do. I guess this is one thing I can thank my mother for, apparently she's a descendant of the First Twenty..." Sharks said and then another thought streaked across his mind, "Then wouldn't that make me a Celestial Dragon?"

"But how would I even prove that I'm her child, I don't even know her name, let alone what she looks like. Besides, 'Celestial Dragons are entitles dickheads', as Master would put it. I think I'm better off being a semi-normal person." Sharks laughed to himself. Again another more depressing thought hit his head.

"I talk to myself too much..." Sharks sighed and looked upon the horizon.

[1 week later, Ozoo Island.]

Sharks arrived at a very tropical island. There were mountains covered in green and their peaks were hidden by the mist. Sharks made his way to the dock and entered the small village on the coast.

"This island is home to the Demon of the East. This shouldn't be too hard." Sharks said as he walked out of the village and into the jungle. He wasn't told what kind of animal he would be fighting only where it lived, high in the mountains. Sharks quickly sprinted through the thick jungle and made it to the foot of the mountain the Demon called home.

He climbed the mountain quicker than any 12 year old should and found a large den. He could feel the Demon inside and was simply waiting for it to attack him. Suddenly, a thick white tail came hurling towards Sharks. He dodged out of the way and the Demon revealed itself. It was a ginormous white lion with golden eyes. Sharks immediately coated his arms and sword in haki and charged the Demon. He leapt off the ground and travelled through the air in the dropkick position.

*BOOM*

Sharks dropkicked the Demon right in it's face, sending it into the walls of it's den. It's skull was caved in, it died before it could even put up a fight, disappointing Sharks a little.

"I didn't even use that much strength...that damn lizard gave me more trouble." Sharks sighed and began to skin the lion. He took it's tooth as proof and began filleting the meat as well.

[Mary Geoise]

"What was that Haki I felt earlier? It foreign and familiar at the same time. I'll have to watch that area a bit more closely." A dark silhouette with red ringed eyes said to themselves in an empty throne room. They then grabbed a transponder snail and dialed a number.

"Yes, Imu-sama?" A deep voice questioned from the snail.

"Increase the Marine presence in Paradise. Tell them to catch anyone with a bounty under three million by any means necessary." Imu commanded.

"Understood your lordship." Imu hung up the transponder snail and stood up to look out of the window.

"My time will come. I will prevail..."
