Chapter 7: Skypiea.
Sanji began spinning in circles at rapid speed until his left leg caught on fire, something Sharks thought was weird.
"Gomu Gomu no: Pistol!" Luffy's fist came flying at Sharks who easily sidestepped it and then blocked Zoro's strike from behind, he flipped around quickly and kicked Zoro in the ribs. He then weaved a flaming kick from Sanji and jumped up to dodge a punch from Luffy that hit Sanji.
"Watch where you're attacking dumb ass!" Sanji yelled.
"It's not my fault you got in the way!" Luffy yelled back. Meanwhile, Sharks was in the air charging a haki-infused slash.
"Both of you dumbasses move out of the way!" Zoro yelled turning their attention to Sharks in the air, "Ken Style: Raining Roses!" Sharks released dozens of slashes that cut deep into the clouds below. Luffy and Sanji managed to dodge the attack and the trio regrouped.
"This guy is crazy strong. I'd confidently say the strongest person we've fought so far..." Zoro said as he tied his bandana. Sanji nodded in agreement and Luffy smiled. They charged Sharks again, who was yawning as a taunt. He effortlessly dodged every single attack thrown his way. He ducked under a kick from Sanji and swept him off the ground. Once Sanji fell, he gut punched Luffy, knocking the wind out of him and choke slammed Zoro.
"Okay, I think the fight is over now." Celestia said from the Straw Hat's ship. Sharks looked down at his opponents and nodded.
"You guys aren't weak but you're nowhere near strong." Sharks said disappointedly as he walked back to his ship. They cut in front of the Straw Hat's and met with Amazon.
"One Billion Extols to enter Skypiea." She said. Sharks and Celestia looked at each other before deciding to just enter anyway. Suddenly, a giant shrimp grabbed their boat and began traveling down a white road.
"I wonder how you taste..." Sharks said as he looked at the shrimp. Celestia chopped him on the head, "Stop scaring the poor wild life!"
Sharks mocked her under his breath and soon they arrived in Skypiea. "I'm sure you've already felt it but someone has been watching us with their haki ever since we stepped foot on this island." Sharks said seriously.
"Yeah. I might be that thunder God you're so curious about." Celestia suggested and Sharks agreed, "But why would a God be interested in us?"
"I doubt he's actually a God. It's probably some exaggerated title the people of this land gave him." Celestia said making Sharks agree again. They soon arrived at a town split by a large cloudy road. They disembarked but before they could step foot into the town, they were stopped by a troop of military men. They had purple shirts, puffy pants with a cloud design, and white berets. Also on their backs were tiny wings.
"Halt, criminals! You did not pay the entrance fee. Come with us at once to face your due justice." The commanding officer barked. He was dressed in the same attire only he had a blue coat around his shoulders.
"Surely we can handle this another way, right mister?" Celestia said in her sweetest tone. She even batted her eyes for extra effect but the man was unfazed.
"You're 0-3, on the seduction thing Celestia." Sharks laughed making Celestia's cheeks red. She applied haki to her fist and punched the commanding officer in the face. Her punch released shockwaves powerful enough to knock away the rest of the troop as well.
She then turned her attention to Sharks who put his hands up in surrender. She stomped into the town and Sharks jogged after her. They toured the town and managed to find a currency exchange. Sharks thought the skypieans would be more esoteric and cooler, but they were just normal people with wings and an odd way of saying hello.
"But these things are by far the most interesting thing this place has to offer." Sharks said to himself as he held a Flavor Dial in his hands. Whenever he pressed the button, the smell of cooked meat filled the air. Speaking of meat, he got to eat a subspecies of the shrimp that transported them.
"Are you sure you don't want any?" Sharks asked as he pointed a meat skewer at Celestia. Deep down he was hoping she would say no. Too bad for Sharks, she accepted his offer. They continued their leisurely stroll until they felt a presence in the sky.
"Do you want to take care of that?" Celestia asked Sharks who nodded. The presence they felt was an extremely fat and tall man falling from the sky.
"STOMACH MOUNTAIN!" His gigantic body slammed into the ground, creating a huge explosion of clouds. Sharks and Celestia were obviously unscathed and Sharks walked towards their new foe.
"I'm surprised you managed to dodge my attack." The man said as he dusted himself off. He was a very fat man with a triple chin but he was also abnormally tall. He was dressed in a white toga with orange accents. On his back were also a pair of wings.
"My name is Yama, Commander of the Divine Soldiers under the great God Enel." Yama exclaimed. He then pointed at Sharks and Celestia, "God Enel has requested that I retrieve you two by any means necessary, so let's do this the easy way shall we?"
Celestia looked at Sharks who just shrugged, "Okay, we'll come with you." Sharks said surprising Yama, who was expecting a fight, "Well then, uhh, follow me."
He said and they walked out of the town. Waiting on the outskirts was three Wavers.
"These are Wavers, powered by a Breath Dial." Yama said as he got on his. He explained how to use them and they got the hang of it pretty quickly. Once they were confident enough to ride seriously, they took off towards the Upper Yard. They maneuvered past a weird stone statue and arrived at the foot of a giant beanstalk.
"You will have to travel up to God Enel alone." Yama said solemnly as he stepped off his Waver.
"Where exactly would he be?" Sharks asked whilst looking up. Yama told them which cloud Enel resided on and they went on their merry way.
"You have fun fighting your lightning god, I did a bit of research myself and heard there was a city of gold!" Celestia exclaimed with excitement.
"Are you sure those aren't just rumors? If a city of gold did exist somebody already looted the place." Sharks shrugged. Celestia rolled her eyes, "Even if their isn't a city of gold, how many people do you know have said they've explored an ancient city in the sky?"
"Smartass..." Sharks mumbled to himself, "Do you even have a general location of where this city of gold is?" Sharks asked as they zoomed past a ruined city, making him facepalm.
"I'll see you later!" Celestia laughed as she veered off and rode towards the island. Sharks sighed and continued upwards, he was within range to sense Enel with his haki. Soon, he arrived on an island cloud holding an opulent villa. There were winged men holding weapons trying to apprehend Sharks and they numbered in the 100s.
"Have you any idea where your unworthy feet stand?!" A tall winged man yelled as he aimed a spear at Sharks.
"Look guys, I don't want any trouble with you, I'm only here to see your God and leave." Sharks said with a smile but the men weren't buying it making him frown.
"Fine then, move." Sharks said and a transparent dark red aura passed over the men, knocking them out instantly. He continued towards the villa but stopped and looked up.
"Y'know, your men didn't have to get knocked out if you presented yourself first." Sharks said with a growing grin. In the air was a fair skinned man wearing a white skullcap with elongated earlobes holding gold earrings. On his back were four drums and he was wearing colorful pants.
"I wanted to see if you were truly worthy of my time, boy. Do not confuse my late arrival for weakness, I fear no mortal especially a boy your age." Enel said as he slowly descended. His menacing 266cm stature completely overshadowed Sharks' 186cm. Despite this, Sharks still stared Enel down.
"So are you gonna throw the first punch or will I have to?" Sharks asked with a wide grin.
