Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Nico Robin.
East Blue.
Kingdom of Tequila Wolf.
This was a very old and unique country—not a traditional island nation.
If you were serious, you could call it a 'country on bridges.'
For hundreds of years, the kingdom had been building bridges over the sea, tirelessly investing vast manpower and resources—a project that continued without end.
From birth to death, everyone's life revolved around these bridges.
Either they were on their way to build them or on their way from building them.
"Hurry up, you worthless trash, get over here and move those stones."
"Move faster. If the work isn't finished today, nobody gets to rest."
"Especially now, things are worse than ever. Pirates keep attacking in waves, like they're madmen."
"Just ignore them as long as they don't bother us."
Amid the shouting, whipping, and despair, laborers silently endured the relentless toil, dragging their exhausted bodies to complete the tasks at hand.
Perhaps they had long since grown numb to this existence, and most just worked hard to survive.
Only a few hidden among them burned with a strange light in their eyes—a flame of resistance.
---
"Luffy, Nami, Chopper... I wonder how they're doing now?"
At Bridge No. 234, a tall, mature woman with black hair struggled under the weight of stones.
"I heard Fire Fist Ace died in battle. Luffy must be devastated."
Her brows furrowed deeply, gloom etched across her face, eyes filled with helplessness.
This was Robin, captured and brought here after an incident on Sabaody Archipelago.
Unfortunately, her strength was limited, and she was quickly restrained with sea-prism stone shackles, robbed of the power to resist.
Here, apart from brief breaks, time was consumed by bridge construction, with no contact with the outside world.
Surrounded by the sea, Robin's sharp mind searched for any way to escape, but none came to mind.
All she could do now was wait.
"Hey, that woman over there. The boss wants to see you. Come with us."
As Robin's thoughts drifted, several guards approached with leering smiles—an unmistakable sign of trouble.
Robin's heart sank with bad premonitions.
"What does your boss want?"
"We don't know, no time for questions. Move it!"
The guards' impatience was clear, eager to get things started.
"Wait, I'll come with you."
Robin stepped back, dodging a rough hand and speaking quickly.
"Hmph. Then hurry up and keep up."
"Right!"
Escorted by the guards, Robin reluctantly headed toward the bridge office.
Her fate was far from good.
---
Meanwhile, several hundred meters away, a three-masted sailing ship cut through the waves, heading toward the Kingdom of Tequila Wolf.
Whether fate or coincidence, its course led directly to Bridge No. 234.
"Finally found it. What a damn place—harder to find than treasure in the bridge kingdom."
At the ship's bow, Kaelen Tsukishiro sipped wine, eyes narrowed as if tipsy, complaining loudly.
A few days ago, he had left the Nine Snake Island, sailed through the East Blue, asking around until he tracked this place down.
Kaelen regretted missing the chance to see Hancock and admire her unmatched beauty.
But it didn't matter—soon he would meet Robin, a woman no less captivating.
"Although the rulers here seem brain-dead, this construction project is impressive."
Before him, on the turbulent sea, a massive bridge stretched like a dragon, winding for countless meters.
Other standalone bridges stood firmly rooted in the sea, battered by waves yet unyielding, like stone sentinels.
At that moment, Kaelen admired human ingenuity—that even nature's might could be challenged.
---
"With so many scattered bridges, how am I supposed to find Robin?"
Troubled, Kaelen scanned the fortress-like structures, feeling a headache coming on.
He realized he had grown lazier lately, dreading trouble most of all.
"Forget it. I'll ask at the nearest bridge first."
Muttering to himself, Kaelen activated his fruit power and the ship surged forward, leaving a white wake behind.
His sudden arrival quickly drew the guards' attention on the bridge.
Before they could react, Kaelen landed on the bridge, stepping off his sonic cloud.
"Sorry to interrupt. I'm looking for a tall brunette woman—very beautiful, mature, and recently brought here."
Half crouched on a large rock, Kaelen smiled gently as he addressed the guards.
---
The guards exchanged uneasy glances, their eyes flickering nervously.
After a brief silent exchange, their faces hardened as they raised guns toward Kaelen.
"Hahaha, the woman you want is here. Since you showed up, you'll stay too."
"Surrender or die."
"Looks like you have abilities similar to hers, but we're not afraid of you."
Their confidence soared as they cocked their weapons.
---
Kaelen laughed, amused by their foolish bravado.
"You're lucky I'm in a good mood. I'll leave you with a whole corpse."
With a subtle flick of his right index finger, shadows shot out from beneath the guards' feet like black spears, piercing them instantly.
In less than a second, all were dead, confusion etched on their faces.
Nearby onlookers trembled, keeping their distance, unwilling to approach Kaelen's overwhelming presence.
---
"Not here either... then only one place left."
After a quick search, Kaelen headed straight for the lone building.
Guards tried to block him, but all fell to his power.
Boom!
Without even releasing his Haki, Kaelen burst into an office where a woman sat on the floor, her hair being grabbed by a fat man as she struggled.
"Oh, well, well—Nico Robin!"
