The crystal warrior loomed before them, its hollow gaze burning with eerie blue flames. Every inch of its body was made of shattered, translucent shards, yet it moved with the weight of something ancient—something that had fought battles long before time itself had meaning.

The ruins of the floating city trembled as the warrior's heavy steps echoed across the crystalline ground.

"You wish to claim the Lost Light?" The warrior's voice was not just one, but many, layered atop one another, like the voices of thousands lost to time. "Then let your strength be judged."

A deep hum resonated in the air as the crystals around them pulsed, feeding energy into the warrior. The ground beneath the Straw Hats shimmered, shifting between solid and illusion, making every movement uncertain.

Luffy's grin widened. "Alright! Let's see what you got!"

With a powerful Gomu Gomu no Rocket, Luffy launched himself forward, fist pulled back—

Only to be slammed mid-air by an invisible force.

"Unworthy."

Luffy was sent flying into a crystalline pillar, shattering part of it on impact.

"Luffy!" Chopper cried.

Sanji and Zoro reacted instantly.

Sanji vanished in a burst of flames, reappearing above the warrior, spinning mid-air. "Don't underestimate us, you oversized snow globe—Diable Jambe: Flambage Shot!"

His flaming kick connected—

But the moment his foot struck, Sanji was hurled backward as if he had kicked an explosion. He barely twisted in time, landing hard on the shifting ground.

Zoro was already moving, swords flashing. "Santoryu… Oni Giri!"

The warrior raised a single hand, blocking all three swords with its palm.

Zoro's eyes widened. His swords… they weren't cutting.

"Unworthy."

With a single wave of its arm, an unseen force flung Zoro away, sending him crashing through the remains of an ancient archway.

A chilling silence filled the air.

The Straw Hats weren't even scratching it.

A Battle Against Time

"Oi, oi, what the hell is this thing?!" Franky growled, charging his cannons. "You telling me it's made of unbreakable glass?!"

Legolas narrowed his eyes. "No. It is not made of glass… but of memories."

Robin's expression darkened. "Memories…?"

Gandalf stepped forward, gripping his staff tightly. "It is the Echo of the Fallen. A guardian forged from the remnants of those who perished in the first war against the Void. It is not a living being. It is a curse given form."

Nami took a step back, feeling the weight of the air around them change. "So how do we even beat something like that?!"

The warrior's head turned slightly, as if studying them. Its body flickered—between solid and spectral.

Brook, silent until now, suddenly drew his cane-sword. His hollow sockets gleamed.

"A being of memories, you say?" He stepped forward, his bony fingers tightening around his blade. "Then perhaps… a soul can strike a soul."

---

The Music of the Lost

Brook closed his eyes, and from his skeletal hands, the first notes of a song echoed across the battlefield.

A melody soft yet piercing, as if calling to something long forgotten.

"Let this be heard by the lost… let this reach the souls trapped within you…"

The air shifted. The warrior paused.

For the first time, the pulsing crystals around them dimmed.

Brook's voice was steady, but there was an ache in it—a sorrow that resonated across time. His song wove through the ruins, through the floating city, through the very fabric of the warrior's existence.

And then—

A single voice spoke from within the warrior.

"Where… am I…?"

The countless layers of voices shook as if breaking apart.

The guardian staggered.

Brook's melody intensified. "Yes… remember who you once were!"

And then—

Zoro, still recovering from the earlier hit, saw the warrior's stance falter. His fingers tightened around his sword hilt.

He didn't hesitate.

"Kokujou Ootatsumaki!"

A black tornado of sword slashes ripped through the battlefield—

And this time, the warrior flinched.

Brook's song had weakened its hold.

It could be hurt.

Luffy, who had been watching carefully, grinned. "Alright… NOW it's a real fight!"

His fist ignited with Haki, crackling with power.

"Gomu Gomu no… Red Roc!"

With a force that shattered the very air, Luffy's punch collided with the warrior's chest—

And for the first time since the battle began—

The Echo of the Fallen screamed.

---

The Trial of the Light

The warrior collapsed to one knee, flickering between existence and nothingness.

Its form… was crumbling.

But it wasn't angered.

If anything—

It seemed… relieved.

Brook stepped forward, lowering his sword. His music faded, but the echoes of it still lingered in the ruins.

The warrior lifted its head, staring at them with hollow, flickering eyes.

"You… have heard our voices… and still, you seek the truth?"

Robin stepped forward. "We don't seek power. We seek knowledge."

The warrior's head tilted. "Then listen… for the truth you seek… may bring only sorrow."

The ruins around them began to shift.

The entire floating city reacted.

And then—

A hidden staircase emerged from the depths of the crystalline ground, leading into the unknown.

Luffy stretched his arms behind his head, grinning. "A secret passage?! Awesome! Let's go!"

Zoro sighed. "You never hesitate, huh?"

Sanji smirked. "Tch. At least he's predictable."

Legolas and Gandalf exchanged a glance.

"The Lost Light…" Gandalf murmured. "We are one step closer."

With no hesitation, the Straw Hats descended into the heart of the mystery.

Deep within the ruins—

Awaited a truth long erased from history.

And someone—

Was waiting for them.
