Chapter 2: Ch-2 Lucen Joins The Crew!!The Sea's tantrum!!
"I'm Lucen Vale."
"Lucen Vale, huh...? Okay, I've decided!" Luffy grinned.
"What have you decided, Luffy?" Koby asked.
"That Vale's gonna be my first nakama! Shishishi~!" Luffy declared with a laugh.
"Nakama? Oh, you mean friend? Sure, I'll be your friend, Luffy!" Lucen smiled.
"But... your first friend? Don't you have any friends, Luffy?" Lucen asked, a little confused, but excited at the idea of making his first friend in this new world.
"Mnn... that's— I mean, you're my first crew member... which also makes you my first friend on this journey!" Luffy replied, arms crossed and eyes closed like he was solving quantum physics.
"I see... does that mean I'm also gonna be King of the Pirates?"
"Nope!" Luffy said instantly, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "There can only be one King of the Pirates. And that's me!"
"Then… what's the point of me going?" Lucen frowned. "It's not like I know navigation or anything..."
"Vale doesn't need to know any of that! You just have to come with me on my adventure! Shishishi~!"
"Adventure…?" Lucen's eyes sparkled. "Okay, I'll join! Oh, and my first name is Lucen."
"Shishishi~ Lucen? That's such a weird! Shishishi~!"
Koby, who had been quietly listening, clenched his fists. 'Luffy's going after his dream… I can do it too. I'll become a Marine officer!'
"Right… I still don't know what place this is," Lucen added.
"I don't know either! Shishishi~!" Luffy said proudly.
Lucen looked at Luffy's goofy grin and immediately suspected he'd made a mistake. He turned to Koby instead.
"Eh… Well, we're at Alvida's hideout..." Koby said nervously. He was still traumatized by how easily Lucen had yeeted Alvida and her entire crew like balloons in a storm.
"Who's that? Oh right! When I was falling, I did notice we're surrounded by water..." Lucen added. He had zero knowledge of this world — after all, he had just arrived.
He didn't know that this world was practically all ocean, with islands scattered around. In his old world, oceans were big — but most people lived on continents, not tiny islands.
Luffy and Koby looked at each other, blinked, and then stared at Lucen like he was a rare species of dumb.
"What?"
"I-I mean, that's true. We're on an uninhabited island in the East Blue Sea," Koby explained.
"East Blue? Tell me more!" Lucen's curiosity ignited.
"You seriously don't know? Even though it's just… basic knowledge?" Koby said awkwardly.
"Even I know about it! Shishishi~!" Luffy added, clearly proud for once.
"I came from a really distant place…" Lucen mumbled. Koby considered the idea he might be from some isolated, indigenous place… with no books. Or globes.
So Koby gave him a basic lesson on the five seas — North, South, West, East Blue, and the most dangerous one: the Grand Line, also known as the Graveyard of Pirates.
"YEP! And that's our destination!" Luffy said with sparkling eyes.
"Grand Line, huh… So we're going there?" Lucen trembled.
Koby thought Lucen was scared, just like every other sane person who heard of the Grand Line.
"THAT'S SO EXCITING!!" Lucen shouted, raising his arms.
"RIGHT?!" Luffy shouted back.
Koby stared in shock. First Luffy, now Lucen? Was everyone he meet today was born without the fear gene?
"Ahaha... hey, are we gonna stay here or what?" Lucen asked. The world sounded too fun to waste time on this boring island.
"Koby here has a boat. We'll sail in that! Shishishi~" Luffy said, pointing at Koby.

1 Minute Later
"...So you mean this coffin is the boat?" Lucen asked, deadpan.
"Yup! I thought the same thing at first… but Koby's been working on this for two years!" Luffy said, hands behind his head, grinning.
"…Sorry." Koby mumbled.
"Well, anyway. Where are we going first, Luffy?"
"Huh? Oh yeah! There's a pirate hunter who's been captured. If he's cool, I'll let him join!" Luffy said casually.
"NO WAY!! You're joking!! That's Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro! That guy's a literal demon!!" Koby shouted, panicked.
"How do you know?!" Luffy tilted his head.
"NO!! Just… no!!" Koby was panicking.
While the two bickered, Lucen wandered off to find food. He was starving.
"Only apples? Huh…" He bit into one and saw something in the distance — a small wooden boat, way better than Koby's "coffin." Alvida's massive ship was also there… but apparently, Luffy didn't care for it.
"HEY! GUYS! LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" Lucen shouted.
Luffy and Koby paused their "debate" (well, Luffy was just smiling while Koby screamed) and turned.
"OH! You found food!"
"ALVIDA'S BOAT! How did I forget?!" Koby slapped his head.
Luffy grabbed a bunch of apples from a barrel. "Is there no meat?"
"HAHAA! Let's go, Captain!" Lucen laughed. Luffy really was hilarious.
So the three set sail.
"You're not totally useless, Koby!" Lucen said, since he was the only one who knew any navigation.
"How long will it take to reach Shell Town?" Luffy asked, clearly losing his patience already.
"By tomorrow, probably," Koby replied.
Luffy went blank, staring out at the ocean.
Then, he suddenly turned to Lucen's hoodie pocket.
"How'd you take that big leaf out of there earlier?"
"Oh, that? It's not a normal pocket — it's a 4-Dimensional Pocket."
"Ah. 4-Dimensional. Got it," Luffy nodded seriously.
Koby stared. "You… you understood that, Luffy?"
"Nope. Not a single thing!"
Then Luffy did what Luffy does: he opened the pocket and stuck his head inside.
"WOW!! THERE'S A WHOLE WORLD IN THERE!!"
"Yeah… that's what I said," Lucen muttered.
"Is that… a Devil Fruit power too?" Koby asked.
Lucen blinked. He had no idea what that was, so Koby explained it to him.
"So Luffy ate the Gum-Gum Fruit? That's so cool!" Lucen looked at Luffy, who was now stretching his cheek.
"But my ability… it's not really like that. It's hard to explain. My 4D Pocket and the WindGod Fan — those came with me."
"That fan too?" Koby asked.
"No, no — the WindGod Fan makes wind when you swing it. Like how I blasted Alvida."
"Ohhh! That's what that was!" Luffy said, though it was clear he still didn't fully get it.
"Wait! I got it! If we use that fan, we can make the boat go faster!" Luffy shouted with a genius expression.
"It can, but... the wind comes from behind. Whoever swings it will get left behind," Lucen replied.
"Oh, leave it to me!" Luffy grinned, grabbing the fan.
"You two… PLEASE don't do this!" Koby begged, remembering how Alvida was turned into a meteor.
Luffy stretched one arm to hold the boat and jumped off, holding the WindGod Fan in the other.
"Oops! I forgot to say — don't swing it too hard. It can create a tornado."
"…WHAT?!!" Koby screamed, tears streaming like a waterfall.
ROOOOAR!!!
The sea went wild. Winds screamed. A whirlpool started forming.
Luffy's technique was terrible — so instead of a single Gaint storm it generated wind in all direction which was good thing for them.
Tornados spun into the sky. Waves thrashed.
A giant wind hit their boat and sent it flying. Luffy, still attached, slingshotted himself after them like a human rocket.
"WOWWWOOOOO~!"
Lucen laughed, clinging to the boat for dear life.
Koby fainted from fear, but Luffy managed to catch him mid-air.

Some Distance Away
A Marine ship calmly sailed.
"Lieutenant!!" a panicked officer burst into the cabin.
Lieutenant Fullbody was daydreaming about a pretty girl he saw earlier.
"Sir, look outside!!"
"Relax! You gotta stay cool under pressure like me — The Great Fullbody! AHAHA—"
He stepped outside... and froze.
In the distance: several massive tornados, whirlpools, exploding waves — like the sea itself was having a tantrum.
"...WHAT IN THE ACTUAL—?!"
"IDOTS! DON'T JUST STAND THERE! TURN THE SHIP AROUND! GET US OUTTA HERE!!!" Fullbody screamed.
"YES, SIR!!!" ×10

AUTHOR NOTE
Do you feel the story is very slow...if yes then I can't do anything because what I like most in one piece is silly moments than fight ofcoures the boss fights are all intresting.
This kind of chapter I fell are important because I don't want to write in a few lines that they set sail and reach shell town that's boring and don't change much from what happened in anime.
This way I can also write character development nicely not like suddenly there was a life death event in a chapter and MC persionality changed HAHAH.
I don't know if you have seen Doremon but WindGod Fan is a gadget in it you can also called it bamboo Leaf Fan, so it kinda grenate wind from nothing so theirs no Newton's third law of motion that states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
ALSO THE MAIN THING NOW I actually wrote more than 1500 words like really I could have made two whole chapter on this thing but after correction it went to 1200 words so yaa it sucks it took me around two and half hour but that half hour was actual waste with one correction then edit a whole fucking 300 words gone.
Right I made a small mistake after all this I am relising it now in manga they took a sail boat to a paddle one. It's fine though you can ignore it not that it's matter. Just assume Alvida only had paddle boat OK.
