One Piece:The Fourth Brother

After arriving on the island, Aden had some time to think. He could just go to Arlong and end him right away, but he shook his head and decided differently.

"I'll walk around and listen. My Air Sense covers most of the village, so i'm bound to overhear something.

But the key part is to decide how to do this. On one hand i can do this myself, but the others wouldn't learn anything. On the other, i REALLY want to go full murder hobo on the shark-boy and his lackies.

Either way, i have to decide if sticking with Luffy is best for the guy. I am much stronger than them. If they have me as a crutch, it won't do anyone any good. I don't want to leave them, but i might have no choice.

I made Luffy a promise to help him become the King.

But then again, is me being a fallback option for them, really what's best for them.

...I need to think about this. I'll bring it up when they get here. In the meantime, spying on people...I mean, 'reconnaissance'. Yeah that's it. Nothing more. Ehem." was Aden's long-winded thought process, as he walked around the town. He overheard some people talking about Arlong, and how he increased tax again, only to be silenced by their friend, saying they could get in trouble.

After a few hours of walking around and listening to people, he found himself in what could only be an orchard full of tangerines.

"*sniiiiff- sigh* Man. The smell of these is so refreshing." said Aden "Wonder if i could get away with taking one." he mused as he looked around, pretending not to know about the person behind a nearby tree.

"Go ahead, take one. Any more will cost ya though. Consider that a free sample." said a blue-haired woman with tattoos, as she stepped from behind the tree.

"Thank you. But did you have to scare me like that?" Aden replied as he reqched for the ripest looking tangerine.

"Oh please. You knew i was here before you even said anything." said the woman with a smirk as she folded her arms.

"What makes you think that?" Aden asked curiously, as he took a bite of the tangerine after peeling it.

"Just a hunch, really. But you choosing to stop right next to the tree i was behind was a bit strange." she said with a small smirk.

"Fair enough. Good instincts." Aden complimented.

"Name's Aden by the way. Hum D. Aden." he introduced himself politely.

" Nojiko. Just Nojiko." she said in turn, returning a slight bow.

"Well 'Just Nojiko', these are delicious." said Aden, gesturing to all the tangerines, after he swallowed the last bit of the one he ate.

"Thanks. I am rather proud of them. It was my mother who....Nevermind." Nojiko was about to tell him a story, but thought against it. She just met him after all. But something almost made her say more than intended. Maybe the fact he was kinda good looking, or maybe the fact he was just being nice. She didn't know.

"Bellmere, right? I heard about her from Na...." before he could finish speaking, there was a gun pointed at his head.

"How do you know that name?! Who are you?! Who sent you!? Arlong!?" she fired off her question, all her niceness from before gone.

"Nami. I heard about her from Nami. She told me about you as well. Not much, but she told me what happened. I promised, i would kill Arlong for her." Aden spoke calmly. As he did, Nojiko's eyes widened, and her gun lowered.

"How? How do you know Nami?" she asked with a shaky voice.

"We're friends. Met her on the sea. She was planning to steal from us, but i changed her mind. Promised her Arlong would die by my hand. She agreed. Her and our other friends are on the way here. I just flew ahead to do some information gathering." he explained.

"Oh. Okay th...Wait..WHAT DO YOU MEAN FLEW!???" she shouted with wide eyes full of disbelief.

"Ate a Devil Fruit. No big deal." Aden brushed off as he floated off the ground a bit.

"No big ... Whatever. I give up." Nojiko sighed, facepalming.

" You know. Nami says the same thing. I'm starting to think that I am the problem." Aden said holding his chin in thought.

It was a few hours later, that Aden could finally sense his friends arriving to the island.

After talking with Nojiko a bit more, he left to get some more information. He stumbled upon a duo of fishmen, one with a tube-like mouth, and the other with a ponytail and forearm fins. He heard them talk about how some marine is gonna come by soon, expecting payment. They went on to say that Nami better return soon with her money, so they could pay the guy. By using the money Nami brings.

Aden saw red. The money Nami was giving Arlong to buy back Cocoyashi, was instead used as bribes. He would not stand for that.

He somehow managed to calm down, but he would definitely went his anger on Arlong.

Approaching the shore where his friends anchored the ship, Aden was getting nervous about how to approach this conversation. Telling Nami the truth could have unexpected consequences, and he didn't want to hurt her.

"Yo Aden!" shouted Luffy as soon as the got on shore. " What did you learn?" he asked with a smile. Others had a similar expression of curiosity.

Howevery seeing the solemn look on Aden's face, their mood shifted.

"Something bad happened, didn't it?" said Zoro as more a statement than a question.

Aden only nodded in confirmation.

"Nami-swan told us her story. We are gonna help you get rid of Arlong." said Sanji seriously.

"Nice of you. But the shark-shit is mine to kill." replied Aden in a cold blood-thirsty voice.

"What happened?" asked Nami, worried.

"I met Nojiko. We talked. Then i went out to get more intel. That's when i overheard two of Arlong's lackies. They said..*sigh*. They said, that you better come back soon with the money, as the needed to pay a bribe to some marine." Aden explained coldly, causing the surrounding air to drop a couple degrees in temperature.

"What do you..? No, no no! All this time!? All this time, working for him and for what?! NOTHING!" Nami screamed as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"This whole time.." she choked out as she started to sob.

As Aden got closer, trying to calm her down, she lunged at him and hughed him for support.

The others looked ready to march to Arlong and turn him into fish food. But they waited for Nami to calm down.

Suddenly, there was a glint of metal.

Nami took one of Aden's daggers and began to stab the shark tattoo on her shoulder, while chanting Arlong's name in rage, as tears kept flowing.

She managed to stab herself five times before Aden stopped her, taking the dagger back. The others were just as shocked. But that soon melted away, as a new emotion was seen on their faces. Rage.

"Aden. Luffy." Nami said in a weak voice " Help me..." she asked quietly through her tears.

Luffy looked at her for a few seconds, before putting his hat on her head as he walked past.

Aden was close behind, but he instead knelt down in front of her and began cleaning and bandaging the bleeding wound.

"Of course. I promised didn't i?" was all he said as he stood up and followed Luffy who waited for the others.

As the whole crew joined them, Nami was left speechless. Extremely grateful to have met them.

As they walked towards Arlong Park, courtesy of Aden providing the location, every step Aden took, raised dust into the air.

His hair was flowing wildly, and gusts of wind came from him periodically. The others seeing this, looked worried. Not for themselves, no. But worries about how much collateral damage Aden would cause in his rage.

What none of them noticed, were the clouds beginning to gather above the island.

Arlong was sitting in his chair near the pool, thinking all was good in the world, when he heard a loud bang come from ouside the main gate.

Several of his men came shouting about intruders before the gate was blown away followed by a burst of wind, that blew multiple of his subordinates across the area.

"Who dares!?" he shouted angrily.

"~Your Death, Arlong. That's who dares.~" came a chilling, angry voice from all around the area.

As the dust settled, Aden and the others were revealed. Luffy standing next to him, with the others behind them. One thing they had in common was the expression of anger on their faces. Aden was the exception, with the expression of a barely contained rage.

"Hahahaha! My death? Did you hit your head, human? You pathetic humans don't stand a chance against us!" shouted Arlong mockingly.

"We know what you did, Arlong!! You lied to Nami!" shouted Luffy.

"Nami? Did she send you? Hahahaha, so she finally figured it out, did she? Took her long enough. But it's a shame, really. It was so amusing to watch her scramble around just to bring the money! Hahahaha" Arlong said mockingly, with his fishmen laughing along.

"You bastard! How dare you mock Nami-swan!"

"You jerk! She trusted you!" shouted Luffy.

"Trusted me? That's on her! If she is too stupid to realize i was lying all along, then that just proves humans are inferior!" Arlong ranted mockingly.

"You asshole. I'll make you regret ever being born!" came a cold voice of Aden.

Suddenly the wind that was blowing all along just stopped. And not just that it stopped blowing, no. It froze in place. All the dust, smoke and small pieces of debris got simply stuck in the air, as if time itself stopped.

"What the hell!" came confused shouts of the fishmen, while Arlong looked on getting a bit nervous, but his ego quickly squashed that feeling.

"What's happening?" asked Zoro.

"Did, the world just stop?" asked Usopp in a shaky, scared voice.

"Aden, are you doing this?" asked Buggy to his friend.

"Oh crap! Guys back away from him!" ordered a panicked Luffy.

"What!? Why?" Sanji turned to Luffy, confused and worried.

"This ain't good! He's really pissed off now!" Luffy shouted.

"What do you...?" Sanji began to ask, only to be interrupted by a loud gunshot-like noise only a lot louder.

Aden was consumed by rage. He heard Arlong mock Nami, and couldn't stand for it.

The next thing he knew, he flew at Arlong so fast, he caused a sonic boom halfway to him.

Grabbing Arlong by the throat he flew high into the sky, with Arlong barely realizing what happened. Arlong's confusion was warranted, as in the span of the blink of an eye, he saw the tall man disappear, and his vision shift to see the Arlong Park from the sky.

Aden let Arlong go only once he flew above the clouds. But as he did, he continue to use his power to levitate Arlong, because he promised to make him pay, and he would keep that promise.

"Arlong!" thundered Aden's voice from all around the shark, as Aden drew his daggers and connected them to form the chakram.

"Have you ever heard the phrase 'Death by a Thousand Cuts'?" asked Aden as he threw the chakram covered in sharp wind towards Arlong.

Meanwhile back on the ground, the battle began the moment the loud boom was heard and Arlong disappeared.

Usopp was attacked by the long-mouth fishman, but surprisingly, he held his own against him.

Zoro engaged in a sword fight with an eight-armed octupus fishman.

While Sanji took an unvoluntary swim with a fishman wearing a gi.

Buggy was once again on crowd control, with his body parts flying around, knocking out anyone who got in the way. With the occssional Mini Buggy Bomb thrown into the mix.

And Luffy was...Well Luffy was pouting, because he noticed no opponent was left for him.

That only lasted until the giant sea-cow emerged from the water, and attacked him.

As Luffy was not paying attention, he got hit by the creature's horn that caused a deep gash across his back.

"AAAOOUUUCH! That hurts! Imma beat ya up ya bastard!" Luffy shouted as he jumped at the cow with his fist pulled backwards.

As the fight raged on, a bunch of the villagers approached Arlong Park as they heard the commotion. Leading the group was Genzo, the village law keeper with a pinwheel on his hat. Next to him was Nojiko and Nami, with the village following behind.

"What is going on?"

"Is Arlong being attacked?"

"Dear god help us all." came a series of voices from the crowd.

"Nami. Is that those friends you mentioned on the way?" asked Genzo in a worried tone.

"Yes that's them alright. Noone else is that loud." she replied with a timid smile.

As the battles winded down a few minutes later, and after Sanji caughed up enough water to drown a goldfish, the group of villagers approached the group.

"Well, that just happened.*cough*" said Sanji as he caught his breath

"Yeah. Stupid cow with stupid horns." grumbled Luffy as he picked at his wound.

"I had fun." said Buggy reassambling himself.

"Of course you did, red nose! You had the cannon fodder to deal with!" shouted Usopp, upset.

"Red nose!? I'll give you a red nose in addition to your long nose,long-nose!" defended Buggy.

"Wait! Where is Aden? And where is Arlong!?" Nami asked suddenly.

"No clue. He just blasted away with Arlong. I think. It happened too fast to see. Him and Arlong just disappeared with a loud boom." explained Buggy scratching his head.

"They what?" came a confused reply.

*THUD-SPLAT* Came a sudden loud noise.

Looking over, everyone saw what appeared to be a body, covered in so many cuts, it might as well have been minced. But even through all the blood, they recognized the blue shark-like skin with tattered remains of a yellow shirt.

Worst of all, the body was still alive, but barely. It was missing the left eye, both legs were gone at the thigh, right arm was gone at the elbow, and there were so many cuts all over, it looked like it was nearly skinned alive.

Sounds of gurgled breathing were heard as a single remaining eye looked towards the group.

"A-Arlong??!" shouted a terrified Nami. She was scared of what did this. But after thinking back to what Buggy said, she had a pretty good idea.

"H...Helfh mhe..Sabh mhe...Ish d devhl.." came a struggling whisper from Arlong. Or what was left of him.

"What the hell!??" shouted a scared cook.

"This...this is way too brutal...even for me" said Zoro, looking quite shocked.

"G-g-guys?" said a shaky voice of Usopp as he pointed to the sky "We should get out of here!" he shouted as everyone looked up.

What they saw, would forever be burned into their memory.

Dark clouds swirles around a single point.

At the center was a violently twisting mass of wind, looking like a spherical tornado. Suddenly there was a loud crack of thunder as lightning came from the sphere.

The sight terrified all of them, and made them wonder what was about to happen.

What nobody expected was for the sphere to start falling, with the clouds being dragged behind it, spinning in a clockwise direction, creating a spiral of dark clouds.

"RUUUUUNNN!!!!!!" shouted Luffy as loud as he could.

That is all it took for everyone to run faster than they ever did in their life.

Only Nami looked back at the mangled body of Arlong. A small smirk appeared on her face as she was filled with cruel satisfaction at Arlong's imminemt demise.

The sphere continued it's descent. Causing violent bursts of wind to erupt all around the Arlong Park.

A barely audible voice was heard from within the storm.

"~Judgement Stance:Ballistic Devastator~"

As the sphere touched the top of the building, a loud grinding noise was heard tearing apart the building. As it kept going, bricks and debris was thrown around violently.

Suddenly the sphere expanded to cover the entirety of Arlong Park. The grinding sound got more pronounced, as everything within the sphere was reduced to unrecognizable rubble. Arlong included. The moment the sphere touched him, he was torn to shreds with the resulting mass of organic matter being scattered by the wind.

This continued for nearly a minute, after which the wind calmed down and the sphere of destruction disappeared, revealing Aden.

Arlong Park was no more. All that was left, was a fifteen meter deep crater, with some smoking debris scattered around.

As Aden stood there, he was a bit tired.

He lost control when he saw Arlong, but the Devastator? That was all him.

He decided, that no sign of Arlong would remain. And so it didn't.

Walking out of the crater, he set off towards the village.

"What the hell was that, Luffy!? Was that Aden?!" Sanji shouted at his captain, still quite shaken up.

"*sigh* Yeah it was." Luffy said simply.

"We had a monster like that living with us? Did you see what he did to Arlong!? What if he looses control again, huh?! What will he do to us!?" Sanji continued angrily.

"HEY!! DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT!!!" Luffy defended loudly " He may not be perfect, but he is my brother! He would never hurt us!"

"I must agree with the lover-cook." said Zoro calmly "This level of brutality is dangerous."

"Not you too?" said Luffy frustrated.

"Guys. I think you're overreacting. Aden is our friend, right?" Buggy tried to defend his friend.

"Well.. That's sooo nice to hear." came Aden's voice from behind the group.

"Aden!" all of the turned around.

"I mean...I know i'm not perfect, but thinking i would hurt my friends? Or my brother? Seems the friendship was a bit onesided, huh? Except you Buggy. Thanks for standing up for me." Aden said calmly.

"I didn't mean..." Sanji began only to be interrupted.

"It's okay." said Aden, holding his hand up to stop him "I get it. It's understandable even. This is actually a good thing. I had no idea how to bring it up until now." said Aden with sorrow in his voice.

"Bring what up?" Luffy asked worriedly.

"Luffy...I think i should leave the crew."

(Yay. Another one done. Hopefully you enjoy it. Also, I notice these keep getting longer. Please do let me know if i should keep the chapters around the same word count, or if this inconsistency is okay.

And just a question for the future. Should i attempt to write lemon as well when the situation gets there, or do you want me to keep it "clean"? Never wrote one anyway, but i wanted to ask your opinion.
