Chapter 33: Journey 1/2
The first destination we would travel to, would be Camp Half blood, then after that, we would travel down the coast to Florida from where we would travel to the sea of monsters and Circes Isle/Spa.
Next would be Camp Jupiter in San Francisco or more specific the wolf house in Sonoma.
The current location of the Hunters of Artemis and the Amazons was not clear right now but I hoped that we would find the hunters on our way to Florida and the Amazons somewhere in Seatle.
We gathered in the forest inside of The Home-Dimension from where I would bring everyone outside.
Once we left the dimension we walked towards the road, where I made my armored truck appear.
The inside had been expanded to not only have several rooms inside, but also have a small garden.
Once everyone was inside I changed into my Leshen form, which I had managed to keep at a smaller size, since I didn't have enough space to be a nine meter tall monster.
To the matter of who was driving? It was going to be me. I had enough coffee and energy drinks with me to last for a week and besides, even if I was currently an 11 year old I was still the only person inside the car that ever had had a drivers license.
So, once everyone was situated, I started the engine and pressed the pedal.
It took us about two hours from the forest road to camp.
On the way there, we saw a monster or two running after a demigod, probably a child of hermes.
So as any morally fucked and more than likely insane, I swerved to the right and ran those monsters over. The demigod was shocked when he heard the roar of an engine and the screams of the monsters. I slowed down and every demigod not of group 1 retreated deeper into the car and hid away.
Ethan opened the door and beckoned the demigod inside. First he was very happy, but once he saw who was driving, he hesitated.
I just looked at him and said:"Just get in. Once we are at Camp you can leave. Those four are also going that way."
It didn't seem to help but Charles just looked at him, grabbed him by the back of his neck and dragged him inside.
"Is that you Charles? We thought you were dead!" and I just couldn't help my self. "Nah, he was just down here having a nap."
"The fuck? Who said that?"
"Obviously that guy." responded Silena, pointing at me.
"He can speak! Oh hell no!"
"You can hear me! Oh my God, oh my god, oh my god! You are the first human that can hear me in centuries! Do you know? Back when I was young, when carts were still pulled by actual horses, people would..."
And I just continued to talk until we were at the border of camp.
Monsters, some of which had hidden just outside the border, had attempted to attack us, but I just used my Nightmares Chains to pierce them before they got any closer.
"Here you go. Have fun. I will come and visit soon."
The demigod just stared at me as the others responded.
"You mean to tell me everyone could hear you!"
"Of course. Did you realy think those three would get into a car with a monster that can't even talk. Even I would merc the monster first and then steal the car."
And then, before he could respond, I turned around, waved over my shoulder and left.
The last thing I heard from them was:
" Why didn't you stop him? He talked for and hour and didn't stop."
"Why should we? It was fun."
Back at the car, I restarted the motor and drove down the coast. Our next target was Richmond in Virginia which took us about 7 hours to reach, not counting the breaks.
I drove with the window open, just to maybe, hopefully get a scent that would lead us to the hunters.
I did not succeed, but I had another idea. Pray, what else. And this time I would pray directly to Lady Artemis, to ask if I could bring children to her.
I did not receive an answer.
We had an hour break in Richmond and after that I got behind the wheel and continued driving into the night.
But even I had to sleep at some point. So I parked the car somewhere in the forest and feel asleep after I turned the car off.
The beds I had installed in the rooms were soft. Heavenly so.
I woke up to the sound of banging on the car. Hurriedly I stumbled out of the room and reached the door.
I reached for the handle and opened it.
Suddenly there stood a woman in a silvery Parker and she was quite obviously a huntress of Artemis.
When I had opened the door she immediately backed of and almost shot an arrow into my skull. It was instead blocked when i slammed the door shut and hid.
"I AM JUST HERE TO DELIVER THEM! DON'T SHOOT AT ME AGAIN, please."
"Why the fuck would you bring them if you don't want to harm us you monster! What even are you!"
"That doesn't fucking matter now! I just wanted to bring them."
"Then bring them out!"
So I did. I woke up group 4 by softly knocking on their doors.
Soon they came out, dressed and ready with their backpacks. I brought them out to the huntress.
She just asked if they were okay, at which they just looked at her and told her that they had willingly entered the car because they knew where I was going to bring them.
The huntress looked confused like the pure thought was impossible.
"Do you want me to accompany you to their camp or will you be fine on your own?" I asked them.
"That's not needed. I will bring them to camp safely. Just go back where you came from."
And with that, there were only three groups left to deliver. Circe, Camp Jupiter and the Amazons.
We continued our way down the coast and once we had reached the coast of Florida, I stored the car again and brought out an old steam train. Why would I bring out a train if our goal was on an island?
Because this train could not only make it's own magical rails, but it had the same enchantments as the car with the only addition that this one could also go underwater.
I asked them inside and once again began the journey. The train basically flew over the waves as they lapped on the magical rails and yet still, the train continued unhindered.
Within minutes we reached the cliff of Scylla with Charybdis below, but it just continued on unhindered as Scylla tried to chase after it with her heads but the train was just to fast for her.
