Chapter 1: Chapter 1
John woke up in an unfamiliar bedroom. He looked around and saw some textbooks and a few action figures scattered around the room. Suddenly, a flood of memories hit him, and he remembered—he was in Peter Parker's body, in the Marvel Universe.
John took a deep breath, trying to process everything. He recalled his previous life, the traffic accident, and the truck that ended it all. But he wasn't one to dwell on the past or worry too much about the future. He was a laid-back guy, and this was his new reality now.
'Thank You Truck sama' He said in his mind.
'Alright, so I'm Peter Parker now, he thought to himself. In the Marvel Universe, no less. Well, this should be interesting. Guess I got hit by that truck for a reason.'
He stretched his arms and felt a strange tingling sensation. 'Right, the radioactive spider. The real Peter Parker had just been bitten by it. Good to know I'm starting fresh without any lingering feelings or goals of the original Peter Parker.'
John got out of bed, looking at the textbooks and action figures with mild curiosity. 'High school again, huh? Well, it could be worse. At least I don't have to worry about my old life anymore. Maybe this is my chance to take it easy and enjoy the ride.'
He walked over to the mirror and looked at his reflection. "Well, Peter Parker," he said to himself, "let's see what kind of adventure this new life brings. No pressure, just going with the flow."
With that, he grabbed a textbook, sat down on the bed, and decided to flip through it. Who knows? Maybe he could make the most out of this second chance at life, one laid-back day at a time.
Peter read his textbooks and checked his notes. Surprisingly, he could understand the topics in the notes, even though it was his first time reading them. He hadn't been particularly good at his academic performance in his last life.
Peter stood up, got out of his room, and walked towards the kitchen. In the kitchen, he saw Aunt May, an elderly woman, doing the dishes. Peter was a little disappointed for not having the hot Latina Aunt May as in the MCU universe. *Looks like I'm in the comic-accurate universe,* Peter thought.
He greeted Aunt May and joined her for breakfast. Uncle Ben was out doing some work, Aunt May said to Peter.
"Good morning, Aunt May," Peter said, trying to sound cheerful.
"Good morning, Peter," Aunt May replied with a warm smile. "How did you sleep?"
"Pretty well, actually," Peter responded, grabbing a piece of toast. *Better than expected, considering everything that's happened, he thought.
"That's good to hear," Aunt May said as she continued to wash the dishes. "You seemed a bit out of it yesterday. Are you feeling alright?"
"Yeah, just a lot on my mind," Peter replied, trying to keep it vague. He didn't want to freak her out with tales of body-swapping and alternate universes.
"Well, if you ever need to talk, you know I'm here for you," Aunt May said kindly.
"Thanks, Aunt May," Peter said, feeling a pang of guilt. He knew he wasn't the real Peter Parker, but he appreciated her concern.
As they ate breakfast together, Peter's mind wandered. *This is my new life now. No use worrying about what could have been. I just need to focus on what's in front of me and make the most of it.
After finishing his breakfast, Peter thanked Aunt May and headed out the door. He had a lot to figure out, but he decided to take it one step at a time. No pressure, just going with the flow.
