Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Liv’s Arrangement
After the reporters left, the Dream Team prepared to head to Punk Hazard.
Although Liv's injuries had improved thanks to Daisy's care, she was still alone in this dangerous, unknown New World.
It was pure luck that she had drifted to this small deserted island yesterday.
So, she had no choice but to leave with the Dream Team.
The Dream Team quickly left the island, but Liv's merchant ship was damaged and had to be left behind.
On the way to Punk Hazard, Nami asked Liv, "Miss Liv, what are your plans next?"
Hearing this, Liv felt lost for a moment.
Her mind had been filled with thoughts of revenge. Now that they had successfully dealt with that noble family and her uncle's relatives, she had avenged their past suffering.
But now, from the original group of eight, she was the only one left.
At this moment, what she wanted most was to take down the royal family of the Magiazka Kingdom to avenge her seven fallen comrades.
But...
With the help of the Dream Team, it was very likely that the Marines would support her, and maybe even the Marine Fleet Admiral would get involved personally.
So her revenge might come soon.
But... after that, she didn't know what to do. She didn't know how to live her life going forward, and her heart was full of fear and uncertainty about the future.
She hated all the nobles in this world because they were the ones who had torn apart her once-happy family.
But now, she was alone.
Facing such powerful enemies, she felt weak and powerless to change the state of society.
"I don't know what I'll do next. I don't have any family left in this world…" Liv said to Nami, her voice full of loneliness and helplessness. Tears glistened in her eyes. She was lost and scared about what the future held, as if she had lost her purpose and motivation to live.
"Is there something you really want to do? Tell us, maybe we can help," Robin asked gently, looking at Liv softly.
Liv was stunned by this question.
After a moment, her eyes grew firm, as if she had made up her mind. She slowly said, "Right now, what I want most is to take down all the nobles who hurt innocent people! That way, there would be fewer people like me in this world…"
Everyone in the Dream Team was a bit surprised by her words but also understood her feelings.
After all, Liv had endured all this for ten years, just to one day personally take down the noble who destroyed her family.
She was a woman filled with hatred and pain.
But also a woman with strong beliefs.
"If that's the case, maybe we really can help you…" Robin thought for a moment, then pictures of a group of people came to her mind.
She believed Liv would want to join them, and they would gladly accept her.
"R-really?" Liv looked at Robin, her voice trembling.
"Robin, you mean the Revolutionary Army, right?" Ryuen asked cautiously.
"That's right. Miss Liv's goals are very similar to what the Revolutionary Army is doing now.
They are all about overthrowing this unfair world, building a new system where everyone can live equally and freely. So they would definitely welcome Miss Liv," Robin said seriously.
The others on the Dream Team nodded thoughtfully, seeming to agree with Robin.
"The Revolutionary Army?" Liv's eyes widened.
She had naturally heard of the Revolutionary Army. Their leader, Dragon, was famous worldwide and considered the number one criminal by the World Government.
In these vast seas, almost everyone knew about the Revolutionary Army.
"C-can I really join the Revolutionary Army?" Liv snapped back to herself, looking at Robin excitedly, her voice trembling.
Robin smiled and nodded firmly. "Of course! Many people in the Revolutionary Army share your ideals and beliefs. They will welcome you and support you."
Hearing this, Liv's eyes grew determined.
She took a deep breath and said seriously, "Okay, I want to join the Revolutionary Army!"
This decision seemed like an answer she had been holding inside for a long time, and now it finally came out.
For a moment, everyone in the Dream Team breathed a sigh of relief. They had been worried Liv might lose hope, but now that was over, and they were happy.
"Then let's contact Sabo and have him come pick up Miss Liv," Ryuen said quietly.
"I got it," Nami nodded.
Then she took out a secure phone and started contacting Sabo.
Everything went smoothly.
After learning that the Dream Team would pass through the Dressrosa Kingdom, Sabo arranged for someone to wait there and pick up Miss Liv.
Baltigo.
"Sabo, did they really contact you just to have us pick someone up?" Dragon, standing next to Sabo, looked puzzled.
"Uh (⊙o⊙)..."
"Well, based on how things are going, that seems to be the case. And this Miss Liv… her situation and her goals line up pretty well with what we believe in," Sabo paused for a moment, then replied.
"Dream Exploration Group..." Dragon muttered to himself.
"Dragon-san, are you thinking of working with the Dream Exploration Group? I really think we shouldn't!" Sabo looked at Dragon seriously.
"Oh?"
"Why not?" Dragon looked at Sabo, surprised.
Sabo looked back at him, face firm. "Dragon-san, even though the Dream Exploration Group has left the World Government, they do things differently than we do.
The biggest issue is the orphanage in East Blue!
We both know some people in the World Government have been eyeing that orphanage for a long time. Even we, the Revolutionary Army, have been thinking about working with it."
"Because in the future, that orphanage is going to raise a lot of talented people.
But we've only been thinking about quietly working with it directly — not through the Dream Exploration Group. They've got a bounty on their heads from the World Government right now!
If we work with them, the World Government will take the chance to go after the orphanage.
And don't forget, the Revolutionary Army already makes the World Government nervous. If we join forces with the Dream Exploration Group, it'll put the orphanage in danger."
After Sabo finished, Dragon's face turned serious too.
After all, right now, the orphanage in East Blue was publicly protected by his old man — Grandpa Garp. If the World Government made a move, Garp would be the first target.
"I get it," Dragon said.
Sabo nodded. He knew Dragon had dropped the idea of working with the Dream Exploration Group.
