PIRATES: I WORK IN NAVY FROM NINE TO FIVE

Chapter 135: CHAPTER 135- Overtime Ends in Thirty Seconds

All eyes focused intently on Luo Yu.

They didn't fully understand this so-called "off-duty" concept...

But every soul imprisoned on Level Six of Impel Down was a notorious monster, carrying immense pride in their infamy.

And being called trash?

That, they could never accept.

"Barrett! Come on, teach this arrogant little brat a lesson!""Show him what it means to be a true king—one in a million! Let's not let this relic of the old era be so casually insulted!"

Catarina Devon was the first to shout in fury.

Around her, Sanjuan Wolf, Vasco Shot, Avalo Pizarro, and the others all turned their attention toward the end of the corridor, toward Douglas Barrett's cell.

With their power sealed, their entertainment was limited to taunting guards and admiring Barrett's Conqueror's Haki displays.

Now faced with an overconfident "newcomer," their only chance to reclaim some dignity… was to let Barrett unleash hell.

"You ignorant fools—shut your mouths!"Crocodile finally roared, baring his teeth. He had been playing the background, hoping to stay quiet, but now he couldn't help it.

He'd watched every moment of Luo Yu's recent actions—escorting Ace and Jack, ignoring Celestial Dragons, wreaking havoc while maintaining a strange sense of order.

This kid wasn't bound by rules.

Not Marine rules.Not world rules.Not anyone's rules.

"Hmph, Sand Croc… We fought once before, didn't we?"Barrett sneered, dragging the massive seastone shackles with a heavy clink as he stepped forward.

"I thought you'd grown stronger, but now I see—some snot-nosed brat scares you?"

He let out a booming laugh.

"Fine, boy. Let's see where all this cocky talk comes from.""Calling us trash in Level Six… I'll show you what a real king's will looks like!"

BOOM!!!

Barrett's Conqueror's Haki erupted like a violent tsunami, thundering outward from his cell.

It felt like a category 12 hurricane had torn through the sixth level.

Even the reinforced cells groaned and crackled, the ground beneath their feet shuddered under the pressure.

This was Barrett's true might.

While not quite at Shanks' level, in the realm of Conqueror's Haki users, Barrett still ranked at the top echelon.

The sheer weight of it was enough to make the prisoners go wide-eyed.

All of them turned toward Luo Yu and his entourage, waiting—hoping—to see panic, fear… something.

Instead—

"Back off now,"Garp casually warned, already stepping back."Unless you want to be caught in the crossfire."

Magellan and the others blinked in confusion, but instinctively followed his lead.

Then—

BOOOOM!!!

A second eruption—Luo Yu's Haki burst forth with devastating force.

The moment the two Haki waves collided, a deafening shockwave slammed across the entire level.

The stone floor cracked like dry clay.

Barrett's Conqueror's Haki was powerful…But Luo Yu's was tangible, like a physical tsunami, brutal and unstoppable.

Barrett's Haki was blasted back, crushed and overwhelmed.

The backlash shattered floor tiles, cracked walls, and—worst of all—caught the spectating prisoners off guard.

Catarina Devon, Sanjuan Wolf, and others were blown off their feet, slamming into the walls with bone-cracking force.

They were literally embedded into the stone, coughing blood as shock and pure terror twisted their faces.

This wasn't normal Conqueror's Haki…

This was something else entirely.

Inside his cell, Barrett clenched his teeth.

If he had his full strength—without seastone chains—he might've held firm.

But now?

All he could do was watch helplessly as the destructive force bulldozed through everything in its path.

"You… Your Haki really is beyond expectation," Barrett growled."It rivals that bastard who called himself the Pirate King…"

"Still—this is Level Six. You don't rule here, brat."

"I may not like you, but just this once… I'll team up."

Suddenly, another voice—ancient and hoarse—echoed out from the adjacent cell.

A moment later, a frail but imposing elderly figure appeared, silhouetted by dim torchlight.

BOOM!!!

A third Haki burst forth—even more oppressive than Barrett's.

The two powerful wills merged, slamming into Luo Yu's aura like two mythic beasts clashing against a mountain.

For the first time, Luo Yu's advance slowed.

"That's the Red Count… Patrick Redfield," Magellan whispered, his face pale.

"A monster rumored to rival a Yonko alone. I never thought he'd interfere."

Garp, meanwhile, had just opened a bag of senbei. He munched lazily and chuckled:

"Well now… Patrick. Didn't expect your old bones were still ticking."

"Too bad you didn't keep pretending to be dead. Now you're gonna lose even the last shreds of your pride."

Those strange words caught even Patrick off guard.

In fact, everyone froze, even Magellan.

Only a few understood.

Only Crocodile, hiding in a corner, truly realized—

This wasn't over. This was just beginning.

"Sigh… So many interruptions."Luo Yu sighed, his voice flat."And I've got exactly thirty seconds until clock-out."

"This was supposed to be tested elsewhere…"

"But fine—if it saves me overtime—let's use the new trump card."

"System… Activate the Fusion Card."

Ding! Please wait...

Ding! Congratulations, Host—Fusion Card successfully activated!
