Pokémon Breeder In One Piece!

Chapter 383: Chapter 383

In the Pokémon world, the Sinnoh region is universally recognized as the oldest.

This belief stems from the large number of legendary Pokémon associated with its history, most importantly the ones that possess the highest authority and the longest recorded existence.

For example, the legend of Arceus was first discovered and spread from this region. Following that, the historical presence of the Creation Trio and Regigigas, the King of the Regis, was successively unearthed.

After Sinnoh, determining the second oldest and second strongest region becomes a difficult debate.

However, if one were to ask which region had the fewest legendary Pokémon and the least prestige, it would undoubtedly be Kanto.

Since it was the first region introduced, it had the least number of legendary Pokémon.

There were only the Legendary Birds and the two dream-born Pokémon—and among them, the birds were not particularly impressive. Even Mewtwo was a man-made legendary Pokémon of later generations. Meanwhile, Ho-Oh, which originally debuted in Kanto, was later officially categorized under Johto.

Fortunately, Kanto and Johto were merged in later versions into the Greater Kanto Region, bringing their legendary Pokémon count up to par with other regions.

Outside of these two unique cases, most other regions are more or less comparable, with some gaining extra prominence due to later game expansions.

When it comes to legendary Pokémon, however, the Hoenn Trio is undoubtedly among the top ranks of divine beings.

In terms of power, divine authority, and fame, the Trio of Hoenn is unparalleled.

In fact, some of them have even gained infamous recognition due to rather unorthodox methods.

"This is the place, Lapras. Let's stop here."

Amidst the endless ocean surrounding Pokémon Island, Dak lay on Lapras' back, gazing down at the vast, lifeless waters below.

He had named this vast ocean "The Infinite Sea," signifying its boundless and unending nature.

The seas of Pokémon Island were vastly different from those of other worlds.

There was no concept of "another continent beyond the ocean." The farthest shore was simply another side of the same landmass.

Due to this, circumnavigating the world by sea was essentially an endless journey—thus, the name "The Infinite Sea."

"Lapras, do you know about the three gods of Hoenn?"

Dak lifted his head and looked at Lapras, who had extended her neck forward in thought.

Lapras did not respond with words but instead thought about it.

She knew that even if she remained silent, Dak—who possessed Aura and Psychic abilities—could still hear her thoughts.

"That's right, those three."

Reading the images in Lapras' mind, Dak was momentarily shaken.

The legendary Hoenn Trio in her memories were all in their strongest forms, and they appeared to be locked in a fierce battle.

Considering that Lapras was only a few hundred years old, this meant that the battle she witnessed likely happened not too long ago in Pokémon history.

Dak hadn't seen it firsthand, but he knew about this legendary event from playing the games.

In Hoenn, both Team Magma and Team Aqua attempted to control the Primal Forms of Groudon and Kyogre to achieve their goals of expanding land and sea. However, they quickly lost control, resulting in disaster.

The two primal deities immediately engaged in an all-out war.

Hoenn's two Champions—Steven and Wallace—had no choice but to ascend Sky Pillar to awaken Rayquaza, who ultimately stopped the fight and saved the region from destruction.

What Dak hadn't expected, however, was that Lapras had actually witnessed this event firsthand.

Through Lapras' eyes, the battle was nothing short of terrifying—far more intense than how it was depicted in the games and anime.

"Lapras, can you sense the state of the sky, land, and sea in this world?"

"Wuu~"

"Exactly. It feels empty, as if the world is just a shell without a core. This kind of ecosystem cannot sustain continuous life."

Dak nodded, reaching out with his Psychic powers to lift a handful of seawater.

It was cold, and it was water—but that was all it was.

It lacked the nutrients necessary to sustain marine life, making it fundamentally different from natural oceans.

Water Pokémon might survive for a short time here, but they wouldn't be able to thrive.

The land of Pokémon Island was in slightly better condition, supporting plant life, but its nutritional diversity was still lacking, which would limit biodiversity in the future.

As for the sky, it wasn't much of a problem.

Since Pokémon Island's outer boundary had no true outer space, flying too high would result in encountering a void barrier. Ho-Oh had even tested this by trying to fly higher but was blocked.

"Do you think those three gods could fix this?"

Lapras nodded, though she didn't explain why.

But Dak trusted her judgment.

After all, Lapras was powerful enough to battle an ordinary Kyogre on equal footing.

More importantly, in Pokémon mythology, it was Groudon and Kyogre who created land and sea in ancient times. If they couldn't restore balance, then no one could.

Otherwise, Dak figured he'd have to summon Xerneas, the Life Pokémon, to try another solution.

"Alright, let's do it."

Dak made his decision.

He would summon the Three Gods of Hoenn to reshape the ecosystem of Pokémon Island, making it flourish and possibly even creating new, native Pokémon species.

5,000,000 PokéCoins immediately vanished from Dak's balance, making his eye twitch.

Even though he was earning PokéCoins at a faster rate now, spending 5 million Pokédollars all at once was still painful.

The reason it cost 5 million instead of 3 million was because he also had to purchase the Red Orb and Blue Orb for 2 million to enable Primal Reversion for Groudon and Kyogre.

Without them, the two gods wouldn't have the power to expand land and sea.

As for Rayquaza, his job was simple—make sure those two don't fight.

Groudon and Kyogre were natural enemies, much like Xerneas and Yveltal or Darkrai and Cresselia. Their conflict was inevitable.

Rayquaza's presence was crucial to prevent destruction.

"Lapras, let's head to the shore first."

Before summoning, Dak hesitated—after all, Groudon on water was not a good idea.

"Welcome to this world."

Dak didn't even need to think—he was absolutely certain that these three were newborn creations of the system, not the actual legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon world.

The reasoning was the same as when Dialga and Palkia had appeared before.

The fact that Groudon and Kyogre hadn't immediately started fighting was proof enough. They didn't even glance at each other, instead fixing their pure, childlike eyes entirely on Dak.

Rayquaza was no different. Despite its fierce appearance, it radiated an unmistakable aura of "I'm a good boy."

"This here is Lapras."

Dak extended his hand, introducing his companion.

The three legendary Pokémon shifted their gazes, finally noticing the "slightly larger little one" beside them.

If it were any ordinary Lapras, it would probably be trembling in fear right now. However, Dak's Lapras was different—carrying the title of "IcebDeity," she was known as an Ancient God, and there was no way she would show weakness.

"Wuu~"

Lapras responded with a gentle smile and a melodic cry, acknowledging the presence of the Hoenn Trio.

After that, Dak explained to the three gods what he needed their help with.

Of course, he couldn't directly tell Rayquaza, "I need you to stop these two from fighting."

Instead, he worded it as, "I hope you will step in at crucial moments to prevent unnecessary conflicts between the gods, ensuring Pokémon Island remains unharmed."
