Pokémon Breeder In One Piece!

Chapter 385: Chapter 385

The natural energy of a world cannot be replenished in an instant.

After observing the process of Xerneas and Yveltal creating natural energy, Dak came to this conclusion.

The surge of natural energy just now was significant, but when dispersed across the entire Pokémon Island world, it still felt somewhat thin.

Likewise, Groudon and Kyogre's efforts to reshape the land and sea wouldn't be completed in a short time.

For these legendary Pokémon, the process might not take too long—at most, they could transform the entire Pokémon Island within half a month.

Thus, Dak decided to let them take their time with the task. There was no rush, even if it took half a year or a full year to complete—it wouldn't be an issue.

After all, a large portion of this ocean and land might not even be used for a long time.

"…Let's give this thing to Monet for research."

Dak glanced at the crystal of natural energy that Rayquaza had intercepted mid-air.

This gem-like, translucent crystal radiated with multicolored light—it had formed just now as a result of the event.

It could be considered a raw material for Mega Stones and Key Stones.

If Monet's research progressed smoothly, then perhaps Pokémon Island would soon witness the emergence of 'Mega Evolution,' a temporary method to enhance a Pokémon's strength.

"Everyone, go find a place you like for your nest. If you need my help, just come find me. Oh, and if a Pokémon already lives there, be sure to ask for their permission—don't start any fights."

Dak addressed the six legendary Pokémon around him.

These Pokémon were newly created by the system—essentially newborns, just with overwhelming power.

Each of them might have their own personalities, but none of them were inherently bad. They all seemed obedient and well-behaved, making conflicts with other legendary Pokémon almost impossible.

Perhaps in the future, these Pokémon would become like the divine beasts of the Pokémon world, getting into fights over various trivial matters.

But that would be thousands or even tens of thousands of years later.

For now, while Dak was still alive, he intended to have them play together frequently and build strong bonds.

That way, even if disagreements arose in the future, their friendships would help smooth things over. If they ever truly became enemies, that would be a problem for a very distant future.

Upon hearing Dak's words, the legendary Pokémon wasted no time leaving.

Having just arrived in this world, they were naturally curious. They wanted to explore and see what this world was like—and perhaps meet other Pokémon.

Five figures simultaneously took off, soaring into the sky in different directions.

Only Groudon remained standing in place.

He blankly watched the other five Pokémon disappear into the horizon, then lowered his head, realizing that Dak and Lapras were both looking at him. Suddenly, he felt a bit awkward.

"Groudon, you're not leaving? Do you not want to?"

Dak looked at Groudon and asked.

"…"

Groudon remained silent.

After hesitating for a moment, he finally conveyed his thoughts to Dak—he wanted to fly.

"Oh, I see. Don't worry, I have a way."

Dak hadn't expected Groudon to straightforwardly reveal his weakness like this.

Just from this alone, Dak could tell that Groudon wasn't the type to get into conflicts with other Pokémon easily.

As for a way to make Groudon fly—there was definitely a solution.

It wouldn't involve a Devil Fruit—that would be too impractical for a Pokémon that could survive underwater. Especially since Groudon could stand and battle Kyogre directly in the ocean, eating a Devil Fruit would render him completely helpless in the water.

The solution lay in ninjutsu.

Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu.

This Earth Release technique could make Groudon's body incredibly light. With a bit of practice, he could achieve stable flight—though his speed might not be very fast.

Unless… Groudon used fire breath to propel himself forward.

In any case, this method could allow Groudon to fly, and it would likely be quite simple for him.

Although Groudon appeared red and lived in magma, Fire was only his secondary type in his Primal Reversion. His primary type was still Ground.

And in his normal form, Groudon was purely a Ground-type Pokémon.

As the "Embodiment of the Land", using Earth Release techniques should be as natural as breathing for him.

"Let me think…"

Dak rubbed his chin in thought.

He wasn't particularly familiar with any powerful Earth Release users. Even Kakuzu had stopped using Earth Release techniques, focusing instead on the five Kekkei Genkai hearts he possessed.

The ninja from Iwagakure would certainly be proficient in Earth Release, but Dak didn't know a single person from that village.

"Madara and Izuna should still be in SAO. Hanzo and Kakuzu went to the One Piece world… Oh! I can ask Mai!"

Dak's eyes suddenly lit up.

He had almost forgotten that Madara had a 28-year-old daughter.

Uchiha Mai had lived in the ninja world for 28 years. She had spent many years in Akatsuki and Amegakure and had traveled extensively. She was bound to know some skilled Earth Release users.

"Groudon, wait here for a moment. Oh, right—you like living in volcanoes, don't you? Do you need me to make one for you?"

Dak looked up at the towering Groudon, tilting his head back as far as he could.

"…Can you shrink a bit?"

As soon as Dak finished speaking, Groudon's body visibly shrank.

Even at its smallest, however, it still stood five meters tall.

Groudon gazed toward the distant ocean horizon.

Groudon's intention was to create his own volcanic island in the middle of the ocean and live there in solitude, away from disturbances.

"Oh? That's fine too."

Dak nodded but still gave a word of advice, "Just don't be too much of a shut-in. Once you learn how to fly, go out and have fun with your friends every now and then."

With that, Dak reached out and opened a portal in front of him, stepping through with Lapras.

Using psychic power to reach Yggdrasil wasn't practical—it was time-consuming and exhausting. The power of the Door-Door Fruit, however, was a much easier solution.

—Elsewhere—

Mai was practicing yoga in the courtyard, dressed in tight-fitting attire that accentuated her toned physique.

"Hmm? Uncle Dak, why are you suddenly ambushing me like this?"

Mai teased as she saw Dak and Lapras appear out of nowhere. Then she added, "You know my father isn't here, right?"

"Yeah, I'm here to see you."

"Me? Uncle Dak, are you here to marry me? I wouldn't mind, but I doubt my father would accept it."

Mai blushed and twisted her body playfully.

Bonk!

Dak used his psychic power to give her a light smack on the head.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"You're 28 already—act your age."

Dak crossed his arms, putting on his best elder-like demeanor.

"Tch."

Mai pouted, resisting the urge to argue that she was technically older than Dak. But she held back, afraid that if he complained to Madara, she'd get scolded—or worse, beaten.

"Are there any skilled Earth Release users on Pokémon Island right now?"

"Earth Release users?"

Mai tilted her head in thought for a few seconds before answering, "I don't know about the ones visiting during the holidays, but there is one who's been here for a while."

"Oh? Who?"

"One of the Three Legendary Sannin from Konoha—Jiraiya. He's been frequently visiting your little blond disciple's house."

Mai's response surprised Dak a little.

He had almost forgotten that Jiraiya could use Earth Release. In the original Naruto series, he rarely ever used it.

"Got it. Thanks, Mai."

Dak nodded in appreciation before leaving with Lapras, heading straight for League City.

"Hey!"

Mai watched him disappear just as quickly as he had arrived, then sighed in boredom before resuming her yoga practice.

Upon reaching League City, Dak didn't immediately seek out Jiraiya.

First, he returned Lapras to her inland sea habitat. Then, he went to find Iceberg.

—Inside the Office—

"Six of them?!"

"Yes, six."

Dak confirmed with a nod.

Hearing this number, Iceberg was momentarily stunned. Not because of the workload, but because the sudden emergence of six 'Primordial Gods' in this world was a truly terrifying concept.

"Start preparing the necessary materials. I'll take you all to see them tomorrow or the day after. For now, you can discuss their introductions."

Dak then explained the domains, abilities, and titles of the six new gods:

Rayquaza, the Sky God, ruler of the skies and atmosphere.

Groudon, the Earth God, master of land and magma.

Kyogre, the Sea God, controller of oceans and storms.

Xerneas, the Life God, guardian of creation and vitality.

Yveltal, the Destruction God, harbinger of death and decay.

Zygarde, the Order God, keeper of balance and ecosystems.

The Engineering Department would handle writing their official descriptions.

"…Each of them sounds like an incredibly powerful deity."

After hearing the brief introductions, Iceberg let out a deep sigh.

Any one of these beings had the power to destroy the world.

He wasn't sure why Dak had brought these entities to Pokémon Island, but he knew one thing for certain—Dak would never do anything to endanger this world. After all, this world was Dak's own creation and legacy.

He simply didn't understand Dak's end goal.

But ultimately, it didn't matter.

Given the behavior of past legendary beings, these six 'Primordial Gods' would likely become myths—rarely seen and spoken of only in legends.

As Iceberg left the office, Dak fell into deep thought.

Pokémon Island now had nineteen divine beings.

Excluding Sceptile, Tyranitar, and Lapras, that meant there were sixteen legendary Pokémon already present.

He had a strong premonition that the other legendary Pokémon would eventually arrive as well.

Arceus had created these legendary Pokémon to govern and maintain the world they came from.

Which meant that Pokémon Island, too, would one day require them.
