Pokémon: Day Bringer

Chapter 85: Where to now

Haru was walking back, as then he was tackles by an orange blur, as he saw it was Tade-Ai. "Hey there little one".

Tade-Ai looked up at her big brother with smile. "You are so awesome big brother".

Haru just chuckled as then he saw his other 7 sister each of them standing there.

Akagi went to him and picked up. "You done good Job Little Brother, father will be proud when he hears this".

Asagi then patted hee sister in the back. "Oh come in Red no need to be so secires".

Midory them patted Haru in the back, as she looker at her little brother. "You did good littler bro, I still remember I use to help you cline down from the tree".

Haru looker at her as he spoke. "That only one time".

Kitsu then grabbed and spinner hee around, as she looked back at him. "Hahahahah, that my Twin for the win".

Haru hid spinner a bit. "Wow thanks Sis".

Outa the 3rd Oldest just stopped Kitsu from spinning there brother. "Ok that is enough".

Violet just yanned, as she looked at her brother with smile as she gave him bouquet of flowers. "For your Victory big brother".

Haru laughed as his sisters surrounded him, their playful and affectionate teasing making the moment even more special. He felt a warmth in his chest, knowing that despite the grand victories and battles, it was moments like this—surrounded by family—that made everything worthwhile.

Tade-Ai, still holding onto his leg, smiled up at him. "You're really the best, big brother!" she cheered, her excitement contagious. Haru couldn't help but smile at the little one, feeling proud of his achievements but also humbled by the love and support of his family.

Akagi, who had picked him up earlier, gave him a more serious yet affectionate look. "You did an incredible job, Haru. Dad would be so proud. You're one step closer to showing the world what you're really made of." Her tone was warm but filled with the quiet pride that only a big sister could convey.

Asagi, always the teasing one, rolled her eyes but with a smile. "Oh come on, Red, don't get all sentimental. It's just another day in the life of our awesome little brother." Her playful nature made Haru feel both embarrassed and loved in the best way.

Midory, the supportive and comforting older sibling, gently patted Haru's back, her voice filled with affection. "I still remember the time you used to climb up trees and I'd have to help you down. You've come so far, little bro." She chuckled at the memory, but there was a deep sense of pride in her words.

Haru smirked at her teasing, his cheeks slightly flushed. "That was only one time, Midory," he retorted, but his tone held no real annoyance—just the comfort of old memories.

Then, as expected, Kitsu couldn't resist spinning him around. "Hahahaha, that's right! My twin brother, the champion!" she exclaimed, clearly enjoying the moment. Haru was dizzy from the spin, laughing despite himself.

"Okay, okay, enough spinning him around," Outa, the third oldest, intervened, gently pulling Kitsu away. "Let him catch his breath, will you?"

Finally, Violet, who had been quieter than the others, stepped forward with a sweet smile. She handed him a bouquet of flowers, her voice soft but filled with pride. "For your victory, big brother," she said, her eyes shining with admiration.

Haru took the bouquet, his smile widening. "Thanks, Violet. This means a lot," he said, his voice thick with emotion. The bond with his sisters, the people who had always supported him, made this victory even sweeter.

As he stood there, surrounded by his family, Haru realized that no matter how far he went or how many battles he fought, these moments—these connections—were what truly mattered. He looked at his sisters, each of them unique and supportive in their own ways, and felt a deep sense of gratitude.

"Thanks, everyone. I couldn't have done it without you," Haru said, his voice filled with sincerity.

The sisters laughed and gathered around him for a group hug, their teasing giving way to a deeper sense of love and camaraderie. "You did it, Haru," Akagi said, her voice full of pride. "Now, let's get ready for whatever comes next. You've earned this, but there's always more to conquer."

With that, Haru felt ready for whatever his future held—knowing he had the unwavering support of his family behind him, and the title of "Day Bringer" as a new chapter in his journey.

Then everyone heard it an explosion near the stadium, as Haru rushed to see what was the reason for and there he found it.

As trainer was trying to fight but it was using fire type move to attack, and even Steak type moves, which Haru got a closer look thr Pokemon looked like Aggron, which was already weird one was in Johto but it was not rare, but how it looked it's black carcole body, the whole metal part, as fire was coming out it's body as well it had a fire tail and blue fire eyss with the inside of the mouth also being Blue

What Haru didn't know that this was one the now new Delta Pokemon that are around the world.

Haru narrowed his eyes as he watched the strange Aggron in front of him. The way its body pulsed with blue flames and its metallic armor glowed unnaturally made it clear—this was no ordinary Aggron.

"A Fire/Steel-type Aggron? This isn't normal." His mind raced as he checked his Pokédex again, only to see the same Error message. This was a completely unknown variant—something even the Johto Pokémon Database had no record of.

The crowd had already begun to back away, realizing that this was no normal Pokémon battle. Trainers who had tried to subdue the Delta Aggron lay defeated, their Pokémon barely conscious from the battle. Haru clenched his fists. First day as Champion, and already something insane is happening.

He took a deep breath and then called out to his Shiny Gyarados.

"Gyarados, we need to cool it down! Use Waterfall, but don't go all out—we need to weaken it so I can communicate with my Aura!"

Gyarados let out a fearsome roar, its Intimidate ability activating, lowering Delta Aggron's Attack. The fire that burned across Aggron's body flickered for a moment, but the creature didn't seem too fazed.

Haru knew he had to be careful. Fire and Steel made this Aggron resistant to a lot of moves, but Water-type attacks should be effective.

Delta Aggron roared in response, its deep, guttural voice echoing across the battlefield. The flames around its body grew hotter, and with a stomp of its powerful legs, it unleashed Flame Burst, sending embers and flames in all directions.

"Gyarados, dodge and counter with Waterfall!"

Gyarados coiled its massive body in the air and surged forward, its body surrounded by a powerful torrent of water. The Waterfall attack slammed into Delta Aggron, causing steam to rise as the flames met water.

Haru focused, his eyes glowing faintly as he reached out with his Aura ability. Let's see if I can connect with it...

For a brief moment, he felt something—an unfamiliar energy, unlike any Pokémon he had ever sensed. The Delta Aggron wasn't just angry—it was confused, disoriented, like it had suddenly found itself in a world it didn't belong to.

"What are you?" Haru whispered under his breath, trying to make sense of the strange emotions coming from the Pokémon.

But before he could dive deeper, Delta Aggron roared once more, its body suddenly igniting with Blue Flare! The powerful Fire-type move exploded outward, forcing Gyarados to retreat and leaving a crater in the ground.

Haru gritted his teeth. It's not going down easy. If I want to capture it, I need to weaken it more!

He took a step forward, PokéBall in hand.

"Gyarados, one more Waterfall! We're bringing it down!"

As Gyarados launched another powerful Water-type attack, Haru steeled himself.

This was just the beginning.

The Delta Pokémon were here.

And the world was about to change forever.

Gyarados attack hit, as it then weekend the Delta Aggron as it was sent back.

Haru them looked at Delta Aggron. "Bind"

As then like that of chains the Delta Aggron stopped, as Haru went inside of the Delta Aggron, as there Haru found, a smaller Version of the Delta Aggron, it was in his first Evaluation a Aron but it was also like the Aggron it was Delta, not that Haru know that.

Haru looked at the Aron as he came to his own conclusion. "Are a regionals Variant?".

Haru took a slow step forward, his Aura flaring softly around him as he observed the small Aron-like Pokémon. Its metallic body gleamed with a dark, almost volcanic hue, and its small blue-flamed eyes looked up at him with both fear and curiosity. The resemblance to Aggron was undeniable, but something about it felt... different.

"A regional variant?" Haru muttered, staring at the small Aron. That would make sense if they were in a different region, but this was Johto—Aggron weren't even native here, let alone a strange Fire/Steel-type version of them.

He kneeled, trying to reach out with his Aura. As he connected, he was flooded with emotions—confusion, exhaustion, and something deeper... loneliness.

"You're lost, aren't you?"

The Delta Aron flinched but didn't run. It just stared, the flames inside its body flickering faintly.

Haru clenched his fists. This Pokémon isn't from here. But if it's not a regional variant, then... where did it come from?

Meanwhile, outside, the bound Delta Aggron struggled against the chains of Aura, roaring in frustration. Gyarados remained on guard, growling at the still-active threat.

Haru took a breath. There was only one way to find out more.

He pulled out an Ultra Ball, holding it up so the small Delta Aron could see it.

"You don't have to fight anymore. Come with me—I promise, I'll find out the truth about you."

For a moment, the Delta Aggron hesitated. Then, slowly, it stepped forward.

The Ultra Ball clicked open, as it hit caught and went on the Pokeball.

As then Haru saw Ash, and Silver had come to help, as they then stopped.

Haru looked at as he spoke. "Already done guys".

Ash looked at the burded ground and even a bit of melted ground. "What happened here".

Haru just looked at his Ultra Ball. "I lot of Questions".

Silver crossed his arms, his sharp eyes scanning the battlefield. The charred earth, molten rock, and the lingering heat in the air made it clear that something powerful had rampaged here. He turned to Haru.

"A lot of questions, huh?" Silver muttered, stepping closer. "That's an understatement. What kind of Pokémon was that?"

Ash, still taking in the sight, frowned. "I've seen some weird Pokémon before, but nothing like this… It's like Aggron, but different. And that fire—it wasn't normal."

Haru nodded, tightening his grip on the Ultra Ball. "It wasn't just an Aggron. It was something new… or maybe something old that no one's seen before." He glanced at the Pokedex in his other hand. "Even the Pokedex couldn't identify it properly. It only got the typing—Fire and Steel."

Silver raised an eyebrow. "Fire and Steel? Aggron's a Steel/Rock-type, so this thing isn't just some regional form—it's something else entirely."

Ash's eyes widened. "Wait... could it be like those Delta Species Pokémon?"

Haru looked up sharply. "Delta Species?"

Silver sighed. "There are rumors about them—Pokémon with different typings than normal, almost like they evolved in an entirely different environment. But most of those stories come from Holon, not Johto."

Haru frowned, staring at the Ultra Ball. If that was true, then how did this Delta Aggron and its Aron end up here?

Haru looked at them. "How long have these Rumours been going on".

Ash then spoke. "2 weeks ago".

Haru then remembered. "Ans 2 weeks ago we helped disbanded Team Rocket and Freed the legendary Dog's and Ho-Oh and Lugia".

Silver's expression darkened as the pieces started falling into place. "You think there's a connection?"

Haru nodded, gripping his chin in thought. "It can't be a coincidence. Two weeks ago, Team Rocket was taken down for good, and the Legendary Beasts, along with Ho-Oh and Lugia, were freed from whatever chains were binding them. And now, suddenly, Delta Pokémon are appearing in Johto?"

Ash crossed his arms. "Maybe whatever Team Rocket was up to before we stopped them had something to do with this?"

Silver clenched his fists. "That sounds like them. Always messing with things they don't understand." He looked at Haru. "But if this is connected, that means whatever they were doing—it's still affecting the world, even after their downfall."

Haru glanced at the Ultra Ball containing the Delta Aggron. "If these Pokémon are showing up now, then the question is—where did they come from?"

Ash's eyes lit up with realization. "Or… what if they were always here, but something was keeping them hidden?"

Silver scoffed. "That sounds even worse. If these Delta Pokémon existed before and we just didn't know about them, then what's changed? Why are they appearing now?"

Before Haru could answer, another explosion rocked the air, this time from the direction of Route 44.

Haru's eyes narrowed. "There's only one way to find out. Let's go!"

Without hesitation, the three trainers dashed toward the source of the disturbance, ready to uncover the mystery behind the Delta Pokémon.
