At the same time, viewers were curious to see how much combat strength an Ultra Beast like Naganadel truly had.

Professor Kukui's Lucario, a standard Elite Four-level Pokémon, stood as a formidable opponent. However, without poison-type moves and with the dragon-type attacks reduced in effectiveness against Lucario's steel typing, the question remained: Could Ash's Naganadel win?

The battle between Ultra Beast Naganadel and Lucario officially began.

[Lucario retaliated, gathering a light-blue energy sphere before launching it forward.]

[When the dragon-shaped energy collided with the sphere mid-air, a massive explosion covered the stadium in thick smoke.]

"X-Scissor!"

"Close Combat!"

[Naganadel's tail glowed with a sharp, dark-green light as it thrust toward Lucario. At the same time, Lucario's muscles tensed, propelling it like a cannonball straight into Naganadel, engaging in intense close combat.]

The two Pokémon clashed fiercely.

[Lucario eventually gained the upper hand, delivering a powerful kick that sent Naganadel flying backward.]

"Lucario, now's the time! Follow up!"

[Lucario dashed forward, gathering a dark purple Dragon Pulse in its hands. If this attack connected, it would deal massive damage!]

However, Naganadel wasn't done yet.

[As it flew backward, Naganadel quickly adjusted its posture. Just as the dragon-shaped flame neared, it flapped its wings, transforming into a streak of purple light that circled around Lucario at lightning speed.]

[Lucario, caught off-guard, turned to face Naganadel with a stunned expression.]

"Thunderbolt!"

[A flash of golden electricity shot out from Naganadel, striking Lucario and sending it tumbling to the ground amidst a cloud of dust and debris.]
