Chapter 75: Ch-75

Palace Gate Stadium Champion Guest Seat—

The lively atmosphere was palpable.

The champion trainers were stunned.

"What a warm atmosphere. Is this a common custom in the Alola Region? Very enthusiastic. I like it very much," Miss Cynthia said with a gentle smile.

She began to look forward to experiencing the customs of the Alolan people.

"Alola is simply amazing!"

Dodo gave a thumbs-up.

Ash, strictly speaking, was a foreigner.

He defeated the strongest local trainer and the Guardian Pokémon.

He earned the title of Alola's first Champion Trainer, an honor of great significance.

Yet...

Some residents might not have been entirely happy.

But Alola's people are not xenophobic at all.

On the contrary, when Ash won the honorary title of Regional Champion Trainer, everyone stood up and cheered for the birth of a new champion!

This warm embrace of outsiders makes Alola a second home for many.

Indeed, the Alola Region is full of "southern charm," with tropical elements like coconut trees, pineapple juice, hibiscus shirts, and beach competitions.

The region is rich in unique elements, including the worship of primal tribal gods and totem culture.

The locals are kind and enthusiastic; even the elderly are polite and often share free fruit.

When they see stray Pokémon, they offer them food or take them in.

It's a peaceful, happy place with kind-hearted people.

"In fact, we should have guessed earlier," Steven Stone said with a sigh.

"Ash...a 10-year-old Champion Trainer. It's unbelievable."

Cynthia added, "Yes, a 10-year-old champion is truly incredible. We never experienced anything like this at his age."

In her first year, Cynthia only managed to defeat Daye, another rookie from her era, and placed in the top four of the Alliance Conference. She didn't even win the championship back then.

Becoming a Regional Champion Trainer at the age of 10 was simply astonishing.

"Not only that, but he also defeated Raihan and entered the Masters Eight stage," Diantha noted.

"Hey, don't keep bringing up that he defeated me!" Raihan retorted, clearly disgruntled.

The future doesn't determine the present. Raihan vowed to train his Pokémon better and re-enter the Masters Eight stage.

For now, Raihan couldn't deny Ash's brilliance.

Kalos Region, Vaniville Town—

"Wow, Ash won. That's amazing!" Serena said, her admiration for him growing stronger.

Kanto Region, Rocket Team Headquarters—

"Damn that brat..." Archer gritted his teeth in frustration.

That kid defeated legendary Pokémon one after another, then claimed the title of Alola's first Champion Trainer.

"He may be the Alola Champion now, but his success will be short-lived," Proton sneered.

What Proton didn't know was that the Alola Alliance, inspired by Ash, would evolve into a world-class league.

Johto Region, Mount Silver—

On the mountaintop, a boy wearing a red cap watched Ash on the screen.

The boy smiled faintly.

"A 10-year-old Regional Champion Trainer... Sounds a lot like me."

It seemed Ash was destined to walk a path similar to his own.

Palace Gate Stadium—

On the screen, Ash appeared with the title: [Alola Region Champion Trainer!]

The crowd erupted in cheers.

Yet, this title was only one of the many accolades Ash had earned.

A new title appeared: "Those Years: Ash's Path of the Brave!!"

The audience buzzed with curiosity.

"What is this 'Path of the Brave'?"

"Is it another title or something?"

"Does Ash have other accomplishments besides being the Alola Champion?"

"Let's watch and find out!"

On the screen—

A familiar green background appeared.

[Title: It's Decided! You're the One, Pikachu!]

The audience became even more intrigued.

"Is this the story of Ash and Pikachu? I've always wondered why his Pikachu is so strong."

"Right! It defeated Regice and even Tapu Koko. That's beyond ordinary!"

Some even speculated that Pikachu might have become a legendary Pokémon in another adventure.

The image on the screen changed again:

[The short story of Pichu evolving into Pikachu appeared once more.]

Although the audience had seen it before, they were still deeply moved.

Pikachu was raised by a Kangaskhan and evolved after basking in the moonlight.

To everyone's surprise, Professor Oak was shown searching the outskirts of Pallet Town, seemingly looking for Pikachu.

Not just any Pikachu—but Ash's Pikachu.

The audience turned their attention to Professor Oak.

Professor Oak chuckled, "Hahaha! Back then, there were four rookie trainers in Pallet Town. However, the Kanto Alliance only provided three starters: Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.

So, I had to catch another Pokémon to ensure all the trainers had a starter."

The crowd nodded, acknowledging Oak's resourcefulness.

Cynthia, however, looked skeptical.

"Was it really a coincidence, or was it intentional?" she asked with a piercing gaze.

Oak chuckled nervously but didn't answer directly.

The video continued:

[The night before his journey, Ash excitedly watched an intense Pokémon battle on TV: Nidorino vs. Gengar.]

Nidorino was clearly at a disadvantage.

Ash's enthusiasm grew as his mother, Delia, entered the room.

"Tomorrow is your big day," Delia said. "Children who turn ten can receive their first Pokémon from Professor Oak and officially start their journey."

Ash nodded eagerly. He couldn't wait to choose one of the three starters: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander.
