Pokemon: My Wife is Meowscarada

Chapter 37: 37: Bill

Ryn stared at the water bottle in his hand, its contents a sample of strange water from Xytherion. Turning to Mewtwo, who hovered gracefully beside him, he said, "Let's go to that lighthouse we saw near the beach."

Mewtwo nodded. Her eyes glowed briefly as she focused her power. They soared across the glittering sea under the bright daytime sky. After a while, they descended, landing gently in front of the lighthouse.

Ryn gazed at the lighthouse standing tall against the horizon. This was his destination. He approached the imposing door. The door was unique, framed with Pokémon-inspired architecture. It had no handle, only a small orange button-like structure on the right side, likely a doorbell, positioned below a microphone.

He pressed the button. A chill ran down his spine as a deep, echoing "BWOOOOOM-WUUUUUUUH… BWOOOOOM-WUUUUUUUH" rumbled from within, sounding like the call of an ancient Pokémon. Even Mewtwo, floating silently beside him, acknowledged its creepiness.

A voice came from a speaker above the door bell. "Who are you?"

"I am Ryn from Pallet Town," he announced. "I have information related to giant Pokémon."

The moment he mentioned "giant Pokémon," the deep call cut off abruptly. Ryn waited for the door to open slowly, like in the anime, but instead, a loud CRACK and sparks erupted as the door burst open. A brightly lit corridor revealed a person in a Kingdra costume.

Ryn, who had expected this, wasn't surprised, but Mewtwo tensed, ready to act. "Calm down, Mewtwo," he said. "It's Bill, the one I wanted to meet."

Mewtwo calmed down upon hearing Ryn's words.

Bill said, "Giant Pokémon?" the man exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. "Let's discuss more! Come inside, quickly!"

Ryn gestured toward the costume. "Don't you want to remove that? Let Mewtwo help you."

Before the man could respond, Mewtwo shimmered with psychic energy. She teleported him out of the costume, leaving it standing perfectly in place. The man stood revealed as Bill, a man with neatly styled, curly green hair. He wore a distinctive brown suit with elaborate red and gold patterns.

Bill's jaw dropped, not at the teleportation, but at the sight of Mewtwo and her abilities. "Amazing!" he said, filled with wonder. He stepped closer, eyes scanning her. "Is this the rare Pokémon you mentioned?"

Seeing Mewtwo grow uncomfortable as Bill stared at her, Ryn recalled her to her Poké Ball. "No, not Mewtwo, though she's unique. It's about a giant Dragonite and other rare Pokémon."

Bill blinked, "A giant Dragonite? Tell me more!"

As Ryn began explaining his journey, recounting the underwater door and the sealed world of Xytherion, Bill's excitement grew. His eyes widened with each detail about the temples and their guardians. "A sealed world?" he muttered, leaning forward. As Ryn described the lonely Dragonite and the corruption, Bill's hands trembled with eagerness. "Incredible!"

Ryn held up the water bottle. "This contains water from there, and since the whole environment is tainted with corruption, this water should carry traces of it too. If you can find a cure, many of those corrupted Pokémon and others can be freed."

"I know it's hard to believe, so here are some images I took from that place," Ryn said. He pulled out his Phone. Its screen glowed as he showed Bill the first image.

Vast landscapes dwarfed by immense flora appeared. Next came ancient ruins crumbling under the weight of time. Then, the colossal figures of Pokémon filled the screen. Bill gasped, his hand flying to ryns phone as he saw a giant Torterra. Its shell was an entire ecosystem, easily bigger than a city.

"According to information I received from a Gardevoir I met there, a corrupted stone is sealed within the backs of this giant Torterra," Ryn continued.

He pointed to a faint, dark shimmer on Torterra's shell in one of the images. "He is the only one who can resist its influence, so he took responsibility for keeping it away, staying in one place in water for centuries."

Bill gazed at the image. His expression softened as he thought about the Torterra, bound to its duty for so long a sympathy crossed his face. He nodded slowly, now truly believing what Ryn had said might be true.

Ryn added, "I could have taken you to that place if corruption wasn't the issue. I want you to find a cure, to help that world return to sanity and free those guardian Pokémon. This water from there will help you find a cure. If you need more, you can ask a powerful Psychic or Water Pokémon team to collect samples, or just ask me, and I'll get it."

Bill said, "Don't worry, Ryn. I will definitely help you. Thanks for telling me this, and I won't forget to mention your name in my research paper. Can you share the exact location and how deep it is?"

Ryn nodded. With Mewtwo's help, he shared a somewhat close location. After that, they exchanged phone numbers. Bill said, "I will definitely find a cure. I'll call you when a cure is found. Thanks, Ryn, for bringing me this information."

Ryn nodded and said, "Goodbye."

Ryn smiled, relieved he had finally done what he could for that world. He released his Pokémon. "Alright everyone, let's continue our journey! To Vermilion City!"

His Pokémon nodded, eager to move on. Together, they set off, their adventure continuing.

After several days of traveling, Ryn finally arrived at Vermilion City, ready to challenge the Gym Leader, Lt. Surge, and eager for a rest. Having sex in the wild was fun, but since Lila's incident, he knew he needed to be cautious, ensuring no one was around, though he wouldn't mind, it was still better to be careful.

But as he reached the front gate, something felt off. The sky darkened suddenly, a strange black hue spreading across it, leaving him wondering what was happening.
