 "That's strange. I don't remember there being fog around here. Meowth, check the weather forecast."

 Hearing this, Ash and the others looked over and indeed saw a group of people holding candles, surrounding a boy on a treadmill and asking him something. Ash recognized their uniforms.

 "I remember now! Pikachu, Meowth, Chansey, do you remember the Pokémon Research Institute?"

 "Ah! I remember now, boss! This is the place!"

 "Pika pika!"

 "Lucky!"

 Hearing Ash's words, Pikachu and the others also remembered. This was where Ash had gone to school!

 "If you say that, I remember there was a flyer…" Misty said, pulling a flyer out of her pocket. Ash looked at it and sighed, "It's still such a cringy recruitment flyer. They could've made it more polished. Oh well, since we're here, I might as well visit. We do have some history after all." With that, Ash and Chansey went ahead, while Misty and Brock, though puzzled, followed.

The person who replied to Ash was polite (in the anime, Ash would've run over and scolded them, and it's a miracle they didn't gang up on him). But when he saw Ash's appearance, he paused and said, "With a Chansey, a Pikachu on your shoulder, and a Meowth by your side, and now a Ralts too—you're Ash, big bro!"

 Ash was surprised to be recognized but nodded and admitted, "Yeah, I'm Ash. I didn't expect you to know me."

 "How could we not know you, big bro? You're a legend of the Pokémon Research Institute, and every class here has been promoting you!"

 At this point, the students of the Pokémon Research Institute ignored the guy on the treadmill and all gathered around Ash.

"Big brother Ash, we've already heard from our families that you helped Master Lorelei's Lapras reach the Champion level with Meowth's assistance. That's truly amazing!"

"If it's Big Brother Ash, you'll surely be able to spread the fame of the Pokémon Research Class even further!"

Lorelei, Giselle, Misty, and Brock watched this miraculous scene in silence, while Meowth drooled and said, "Meow, it's so good. I really want to taste it again, Meow!"

Pikachu and Chansey also agreed, clearly having tasted it before. Ash patted Meowth's head and said, "Alright, Meowth, I'll give you more when you become a champion. After all, this candy is the best for stabilizing levels."
