Pokemon: The Beginning of the Legend

"Okay, first you will need to know crucial details". Arceus said.

"Okay, okay, tell me".

"First of all, I am sure you are curious as to why my universe exists in yours as entertainment".

"The reason for this is that I needed a way for my universe to exist outside mine, and why? Because it could be used as an advantage later. And since your God actually liked my universe, at the end it was useful for me to gain some favors, an example is you".

'I see, it makes sense though, because it worked' Alex thought.

"Apart of that, my universe works differently as you think".

"Why?"

"Have you ever stumbled upon the theory that every game, the manga and the anime of my universe are all alternate universes?"

"Yes, it is a good theory" Alex responded.

"Well, let me tell you: It is not just a theory, it is the truth".

"What?!" Alex was shocked.

"Well, sort of".

"Please, explain".

"Al timelines exist, but unlike the theory, not all the games are multiple timelines; in fact, the games are not even accurate".

"What do you mean?" Alex asked.

"Well, for example, the anime timeline is a exactly like is was shown in your dimension, and the manga is also exactly like is was shown in your dimension. But the games, it is another history. The game like you know them are all fake, they are just based on the real timeline".

"What do you mean with 'fake'?".

"Well, Pokemon Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sword, Shield, Scarlet, Violet and other games that haven't been released; all of them are a single timeline".

"WHAT?!!!!!!".

"And that is not all".

'Oh sh#$' Alex thought.

"Those games, which are main ones, conform the 'videogame' timeline. The other games released, which are the secondary videogames, are a branch of another 'videogame' timeline".

"How many 'videogame' timelines are then?" Alex asked.

"Indeed" Arceus responded.

"Alright, so in which timeline am I going to end up?"

"Well, to determine that, we're going to do something interesting". Arceus said.

Immediately afterwards, ten bright orbs of light appeared in front of Alex and Arceus.

"What are those?"

"Those, are the energetic manifestations of the ten most relevant and important timelines of my universe. One is from the anime timeline, two are from the manga timelines, five are from the videogame timelines, one is from the mirror anime timeline (the one that appeared in season X and Y, and later in Journeys), and the last one is from Pokemon Origins timeline" Arceus explained.

"So what are you going to do with them?" Alex asked.

"Easy, just stay still, and eventually one of the orbs should end up in front of you. However, that will depend on which dimension is the best choice for you".

"Soooo, I just need to do nothing?"

"Yes, exactly".

Then Alex got in front of the orbs, and just as Arceus said, they all started spinning around him for a good while.

But eventually, the orbs started to slow down, and one specific orb ended up in front of Alex.

"Sooooo, from which dimension is the orb? Alex asked.

"This orb is from the anime timeline, so it means you are going to be reincarnated into it". Arceus responded.

"Okay, don't make this slower than it should be. Could you start my reincarnation now?"

"Of course, now, prepare yourself, because..."

Arceus couldn't finish his sentence, because at that moment, the other nine remaining orbs flew right in front of Alex, catching him by surprise.

"Ehhhhh, was that supposed to happen?" Alex asked.

"No, it was not" Arceus said.

"Then what does this mean? I'm still being reincarnated in the anime universe, right?"

"..."

"Right?"

"This can't be..." whispered Arceus.

"Is this THAT bad?"

"No, it's not bad, but it's not good either".

"Okay, can you explain me what the fu#$ is going on?" Alex asked.

"It's... complicated".

"Oh well, my situation is already complicated considering everything that has happened" Alex said.

"Well, you are right about that, but you still don't know the seriousness of the matter".

"Then what's the problem?"

"This hasn't happened before, not even when I reincarnated someone and sent it to the past of their timeline" Arceus said.

"Like when you did it with the protagonists of 'Legends Arceus'?"

"Yes, not even when I literally ripped their souls from their bodies, sent them to the past, reconstructed their bodies by atom, and then divided their souls so that one part remained in the past and another went back in to their time did this happen".

'So that's what happened to them at the end of the game, one part of them stayed in the past and the other went back to the future' Alex thought.

"So what now? In which dimension will I be reincarnated? Alex asked.

"Everyone".

"What do you mean?"

"You are going to be reincarnated in a new timeline that contains the events, the stories, the battles, the plots, the villains, the protagonists, everything; that the other ten timelines have" Arceus explained.

"Whoa, that sounds like it is a massive timeline" Alex commented.

"That is because it is indeed a massive timeline, and will probably be the most dangerous one".

"But it will also be the best one, the most amazing, and the best choice for my adventure to start. So what are we waiting for?"

"Alright, I like the enthusiasm" Arceus said. "So let's start your reincarnation".

After Arceus said that, the ten orbs started to spin around Alex, covering him in a white light, and the space started to distort and twist.

"Thank you Arceus" Alex said while he started to vanish.

"No, thanks to you Alex. And I hope that you can enjoy your new life".

And that is how the story begins.
