Pokemon: The Beginning of the Legend

After the meeting with Professor Oak, Delia and Red went straight to their house. Red was looking to his surroundings frantically, trying to do something that we don't know yet.

Meanwhile, Delia was opening the house's door, and they entered.

'Wow, although I've seen this house before in the games, manga and anime, nothing is compared to this. The house is beautiful'.

He wasn't exaggerating. Although the house was normal-sized, it was cozy and very pretty. It had beautiful furniture, was well painted, and the living room was excellent. And that was just the first floor.

*Happy baby noises*

"What do you think about our house Red? Do you like it?" Delia asked him.

*Happy baby noises*

"Alright, let's take you to your room".

Then Delia went up the stairs, and entered a room.

The room was big: It had a Pokemon-themed cradle in one corner, a couple shelves in the opposite one, and some posters of the three Kanto starters. It was almost identical to how it was shown in the anime.

*Happy baby noises*

"What do you think, darling?" Delia asked.

*Happy baby noises*

"I see you like it, that's good".

Then Delia put Red in his cradle and sang him a lullaby so he could sleep. Then, she left.

After that, a second or two passed.

'Phew, finally. I have to admit that her voice is beautiful, but singing a lullaby to a grown up man is just… unbearable'.

'Now, I need to do a LOT of things. In the first place, I need to get as much information about the plot as I can. This timeline will be one of the most dangerous ones, judging what Arceus said. Because of that I will need some general knowlegde about this world'.

'Secondly, I will need to awaken my aura powers as fast as I can. This world is not as peaceful as it was shown back on Earth, so I will need to be strong so I can protect my future friends'.

'And thirdly, I need to find out which characters exists and which don't. But at least I can tell Red (which is me) is here, Blue also exists, Delia also does and Professor Oak does as well'.

'And this leads me to the fourth point. Will Professor Oak give me Pikachu, or will I recieve Charmander? They are both powerhouses, but I would prefer Pikachu. I like more Charmander, and it's my favorite Pokemon, but Pikachu it's broken. He shocked (both literally and figuratively) Ground types tons of times. And that is awesome, but the thing is that his power is inconsistent, one day he can beat a Latios and the next day he loses to an amateur Snivy. But overall, Pikachu it's better'.

'The only problem is that it's more likely that I will recieve Charmander, since I am Red and not Ash. They are the same person, but there are still differences, and one of those differences is the starter'.

'But I can't find do anything about this, not yet. I will need to wait'.

[Timeskip - 47 days]

Red was sitting in his cradle, looking to the ceiling. And he began to recall everything that happened since he was reborn.

'Alright, it's been a month and a half since I have been reincarnated, and during this time, I managed to gather important data about this world. First of all, the people of this world are fuc#$%& broken. Last week, mom was moving five huge boxes from our house to her restaurant, all at once. This wouldn't be too weird... if it wasn't for the fact that she placed the boxes on a scale and it showed 100 kilograms. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw that. But aside from that, the people from this world develop exactly as the humans from my old world'.

'Secondly, there is something... interesting about the food. People do eat Pokemon here. I mean, that actually makes sense, because in an first season episode, both Ash and Brock were drooling while imagining a grilled Magikarp... I thought that was horrible when I saw that for the first time, but it seems that is normal here. But weirdly enough, normal animals do exist here too. The thing is, they are considered variations of certain Pokemon, which at birth had a failure in a large part of their genome and DNA. They can't fight, so they are considered failures. However, their meat is extremely expensive and way more delicious than a normal Pokemon's.

'Thirdly, Kalos was discovered recently, but the fairy type and Mega-evolution are still undiscovered. In fact, the steel and dark type were only discovered a couple months before my birth. Also, Alola has been known for a long time, but it is seriouly underdeveloped. Right now, it is just a huge archipelago with primitive Pokemon, and none of the regional forms are discovered because of that'.

'Fourthly, as far as I know, the evil teams, except for Team Rocket have not been formed yet. And Team Rocket is just a like a little gang, popular, but a gang'.

'Fifthly, the levels on Pokemon are a thing, and the stats also exist here, but they are not something fixed, it's more like an average. But that leads me to something really important, the EV and IV have NOT been discovered yet. But this is something huge, if they are not discovered by the time I start my journey, I will have a huge advantage over every single trainer on this Earth'.

'And sixthly, the Aura Guardiardians are known, but the number of Aura users is the less than fifteen. Sixteen, counting me. And I've been training my Aura for the last month or so, but I can't do anything yet. But I know that Aura users can do this:

-Sense other auras

-Heal humans and Pokemon

-Use some attacks like Aura Sphere and Protect

-Transfer Aura to living beings

-Activate time flowers

-Be able to comunicate telepathically

-Improved strength

-Improved stamina

-Improved speed

-Improved sight

-Improved hearing

-Improved resistance

-Improve training

-Improve bonding

-And activate Battle Bond with Pokemon that are extremely close to them'.

'Yes, the Battle Bond was something that existed when there were a lot of Aura users in the past. Apparently, it was a last resort technique that allowed the Pokémon to temporarily overcome its limits, but the trainer could die in the process. The fact that Ash managed to use the Battle Bond with Greninja multiple times with just being tired or fainting, proves that Ash's Aura potential was the best of the whole history of Pokemon'.

'All of this took me a lot of effort to discover, I had to sneak out at nights and go to the local library so I could get the information. There were many times that I was almost discovered by mom, and I had to act quickly to keep the facade'.

'But now I've been trying to awaken my Aura powers, without success. Last night I managed to read a book about Aura users, and luckily the book had some methods to do so'.

'So every night from now on I will meditate and try to awaken simple Aura'.
