(Elven Kingdom: Sylveria – The Queen's Palace)

*BANG!*

The Elf Queen slammed the arm of her throne, creating cracks in it.

"What did you just say..." she asked in a stern tone, one that prevented Brilanna, the Elf lady, whom Kent had let go after severing the arms of the four from speaking immediately.

Eventually, she repeated what she said.

"Kent Madson is Elarion... my Queen," Brilanna repeated her words, causing the Elf Queen and the five elders with her to clench their fists.

"What should we do, My Queen?" Lord Arlen asked in a furious tone. They might have relaxed a bit when such news reached them, but hearing that four of their best were amputated and that Kent had even sent a warning message made them very angry.

They wanted nothing more now than to sever the arms on Kent's body and boil his flesh in boiling oil, all while seasoning him with the hottest pepper in the world.

"Send men to Elarion. Tell them to hand over Kent Madson. If they refuse, report to me immediately," the queen said before vanishing from the throne room.

(Elwood Gardens – somewhere in Sylveria)

Lady Aelith, the ancestor of the Elves and once a formidable warrior who participated in the Battle of Parting 25,000 years ago, sat in a serene garden, watching birds.

She was just a Root Master back then, but she fought alongside Root Grandmasters and Root Saints, killing many while coming close to death's door a few times.

After the battle, when the queen ascended, she stepped in and led her people for 15,000 years, bringing them to the pinnacle of the world.

However, for the past 10,000 years, she had been in seclusion, strengthening her foundation and doing her best to maximize her strength before ascending.

She had made considerable headway since then.

Now, she came out to have a few years of rest before returning to seclusion. She planned to break two limits before ascending. She had also made progress on that front, already breaking one limit.

However, while she may appear harmless to many, she is one of the most dangerous individuals in the world, posing a threat even to someone like Kent, who has already broken four limits.

When it comes to battle experience, she has more than Kent. She had fought in many battles, killed anyone who stood in her way, and came close to dying several times, so her years of battle experience would trump someone like Kent.

And as it stood, she was Kent's enemy, only waiting for him to surface so she could handle him. Of course, she wasn't doing this because the Hand wanted Kent dead; she was after something else.

Learning that Kent was in possession of someone having the Divine Atomic Body, she wanted it. And it wasn't to raise someone destined to become an excellent assassin in the future, like most would do...

No...

It was for herself. Body constitutions can be stolen just like spirit roots can be stolen. She wanted Li Hua's heavenly constitution, and she was ready to kill to get it.

Suddenly, Queen Elenara appeared in the garden.

"What is it, Ele?" Lady Aelith asked when her daughter appeared.

"Kent Madson has surfaced."

"Where?"

"Elarion... It appears he is there to take part in the competition organized by the Half-Breeds."

Lady Aelith stood up and walked toward a particular tree, plucking a green-colored fruit. "Don't contact the Hand yet... I will go there first."

"Okay, mother," Queen Elenara nodded and then left.

"Kent Madson, huh? I wonder what you look like and what you think you will gain coming here." An evil smirk tugged at her lips as she walked away.

(Gray Mountain – Hideout of the Hand)

For an organization whose name is known even to the most common people, they sure know how to conceal their identity.

The Gray Mountain, one of the most dangerous places in the Elven lands, happens to be one of the many hideouts of the Hand.

It is located several miles away from the Flame Valley. However, with the Elves and demons sharing a border, the Gray Mountain is located right at the center, acting as a boundary that separates the two races.

The Hand prefers to act swiftly, so they are situated there and carry out their plans. In the past few weeks, they had sent more men to such hideouts and had been lying in wait for one person to make an appearance.

Of course, that person was Kent Madson. From the Human continent, through the Ancient Battlefield of Parting, and the other continent, their forces have been on alert.

So when the word reached them that Kent Madson had appeared in Elarion, they started gearing up.

"Remember, under no circumstances should any of you back down. Kill him if you can, but if he is as weak as he should be, then capture him. I will be around, so rest assured, he is as good as dead or captured."

"As your command, Lord Tiger Fang."

One of the Seven Fangs of the Hand instructed, his hand crossed behind him. He wore a tiger mask, and judging by his aura, he was no easy warrior.

Soon, hundreds of warriors moved out. Most were experts in the Sovereign stage, but a few had progressed to the Core Formation stage.

After they left, Tiger Fang took a communication crystal and channeled his energy into it.

(The Hand Headquarters)

The Hand, dressed in white with her white hair flowing down her back, sat in a chair reading a scroll. Judging by her expression, she was both intrigued and a little afraid of something.

After a while, a smile appeared on her face.

"Finally, I can cultivate my realm again," she muttered, looking at the contents of the scroll.

"Qilin, wait for me. Thanks to you, I now have a much stronger foundation than ever. After I refine my core to the 7th stage, I will come and take your head off.

The years of humiliation you put me through will end with your head on the ground." For someone draped in white and looking like an angel, her words were rather nasty.

"But first, Kent Madson, I will skin that brat alive. Who does he think he is?"

Suddenly, her communication crystal buzzed. She took it and channeled her energy into it.

"Speak."

"Kent Madson has appeared in Elarion... we are on our way to retrieve him," Tiger Fang said on the other end of the line.

"Keep me updated." The Hand cut the line and walked away.
