The guards stood in front of the gate, watching the human who had been standing there for the past five minutes.

"You don't think the king threw him out... after all, he was escorted in and taken to the king's palace," one of the guards asked, watching Kent's back.

"I don't think he was thrown out. I mean, if the king wanted him out, wouldn't the royal guards escort him?"

"That makes sense. But then, if the king didn't throw him out, why is he standing there like a beggar?"

The guards speculated about many things as the watch held back. They didn't understand why someone who had just antagonized the Elves would be standing outside as if he were waiting for his death.

"CLOSE THE DOORS AND SOUND THE ALARMS!"

Suddenly, the leader of the guards shouted, prompting the gossiping ones to turn to him. When they looked where his gaze was directed, they saw hundreds of Elven warriors, each at the Core Formation stage, flying at top speed toward them.

They immediately scattered, running toward the gate. However, before they could get far, Kent's voice stopped them.

"They are here for me."

They paused for a second before continuing to run. They didn't trust Kent, and since they were trained to respond immediately, they closed the door. But before the alarms could sound, the king's voice entered their ears.

"Don't sound the alarm. They are here for the human."

The king and the ten elders appeared in the air, stopping atop the gate that overlooked the vast expanse of green land stretching before them.

A few seconds later, the Elves reached the gate, stopping 150 meters away. But as cultivators, such a distance can be closed in microseconds.

One hundred twenty of them hovered in the air, looking coldly at Kent, while one landed on the ground and walked forward, maintaining a distance of 20 meters between him and Kent.

"You are Kent Madson," Dailon, one of the Elf army generals, asked, holding his sword.

Kent looked at him calmly, and then a smile appeared on his face. "You look young and handsome for someone who is already 1,209 years old. Tell me, what is your skincare routine?"

It wasn't just the Elves; even King Thalirion and the ten elders didn't expect such a reply from Kent. His answer wasn't what they expected, given the conditions he found himself in.

However, Kent stood there, looking smugly at General Dailon, who was having a hard time coming to terms with a few things.

Aside from the obviously shocking reply he had received, one thing struck his nerves, causing him to wonder many things. Instinctively, his back broke out in a cold sweat.

'How did he know my age...' he wondered, looking at Kent.

"No need to look at me like that. I am Kent Madson, so of course, I know every small thing about all of you. For example, you over there," Kent pointed at another Elf hovering among the 120 Elves.

"Your name is Queren, you are 980 years old, and while I hate doing this, sleeping with General Dailon's wife is not cool. You can't be doing that to your general while he was away protecting your borders."

Kent turned back to Dailon and sighed, shaking his head in sympathy. "I am sorry you have to find out like this, but that bitch has been banging this traitor for 26 years now.

The look on everyone's face was one of shock, disbelief, and, even more importantly, bewilderment. No one could understand why Kent knew all he had just said.
