Chapter 532 Escape! Everyone!
The stars around the planet shifted, and the blue glow that surrounded it gradually disappeared. The faint outlines of the Planet's true form began to show — it was a hollow shell, and the massive, glowing sphere within. Althea gasped as she realised the inner core wasn't just glowing from light. It pulsed, alive, as though it were breathing.
"An egg…" Althea whispered to herself. "The planet is an egg…"

Back in the abyssal ocean, the appendages from the depths coiled and flexed, shaking the ocean with each movement it made. The creature beneath Alex's body began to stir further, releasing low frequency vibrations that resonated through the hollow planet all the way to the surface, and beyond.
Fwooooooooom!
The vibrations reached the surface, creating the fissures to widen. The Humans and Lux scrambled to find stable ground, and those who were smarter directly took to the skies, escaping the planet entirely. The entire battlefield felt as though it were sinking.
"Cease your fighting! Focus on escaping!" Yaron shouted towards the remaining Lux.
For the first time, the humans and Lux reached a mutual understanding, realising their survival depending on fleeing the collapsing planet.
One by one, they all ascended to the skies and broke through the thin remainders of the atmosphere, forcing even deeper into space.
As higher life forms, they had the ability for free form flight like this.
However Mira didn't have such an ability.
She looked over at Captain Korn and the other B tiers, but they all ignored her as they focused on their own survival, ascending to the skies and all escaping.
In mere moments, she was the only one left behind.
She was the only living being left on the surface of the planet.
Up above, Althea noticed this predicament and gritted her teeth when she realised Mira had been left behind by Captain Korn and his squad. She made a note in her mind to deal a heavy punishment to them later, and focus her efforts on going to retrieve Mira.
However, the Lux opposite her developed a widening, cold smile as she blocked Althea's approach to the planet.
As an S tier, her mental abilities were frightening, so she deduced the relation between Althea's twisting facial expressions and the last remaining human on the surface of the planet.
Knowing this, how could she not take advantage of such a situation?
The Humans down there had killed enough Lux, now it was time for one of their leaders to suffer a devestating blow!
Let her child die in the destruction of the planet!
Althea flew into a rage when she realised the opposing Lux's intentions, activating all her abilities wildly and flew towards her with all her wrath.

[Evolution complete. Welcome to the higher ranks, Alex.]
Alex's eyes snapped open the moment the countdown ended. As he looked around, he noticed one very concerning thing.
'Where has all the liquid gone?'
Notably, the liquid ocean that he had fallen into before initiating his evolution was no longer.
Infact, this was just the first thing he noticed upon waking up.
"Light??"
Alex's voice didn't echo this time. The darkness that once consumed this deep, dark depth of the planet was now gone. Replaced by light that clearly originated from this star system's star.
With the ability to see clearly now, Alex observed his surroundings.
The 'liquid' that once engulfed him was gone, as he had already assessed, and in its place, massive pillars of crystalline formations jutted up from the ground, each radiating with the same pulsating light.
The low frequency vibrations he had felt before were stronger now, rhythmic like a heartbeat, and they even thumped like one…
In fact, Alex realised quickly that the thumping mirrored his heartbeat exactly.
He pushed himself to his feet, or at least he tried to…
When he pushed himself off the ground, he didn't find his feet touching the floor like he would normally expect.
Instead, he was floating!
Thinking of something, he opened up his system messages.
[Evolution complete. Welcome to the higher ranks, Alex.]
A personal welcoming from the system, how fitting.
However that wasn't what intrigued Alex.
Instead, it was the fact that he was now a higher life form!
'That's right, I can fly now…'
Remiding himself of this, he willed his body to return to the ground, and it obliged him with no issues.
He didn't have time to process his new abilities though, as the ground beneath him trembled violently.
"What in the world is this place?" Alex muttered.
His gaze followed the veins of blue energy upward, where they converged into a vast, intricate network that followed the pulsations.
Then, he saw it.
In the distance, a massive shape began to stir. It was the source of the blue light, the heartbeat, and the immeasurable pressure pressing against his mind.
"What… the fuck…?"
He realised at that moment that he wasn't standing on 'ground.'
He was standing on a living being…
Alex looked up at this moment, noting the lack of any ceiling above his head, that would otherwise indicate there being any surface left…
'Was this never a planet from the very beginning???'
'Is this WHOLE thing a fucking egg to incubate whatever ungoldly creature this is???'
Despite having his mind opened and receiving all sorts of new information from his evolution, this time Alex was genuinely floored.
How could he not be?
He was standing on a fucking planet sized living being for gods sake!
'Wait, I'm standing on it. Has it noticed me here?'
This realisation quickly made Alex anxious.
He didn't know how powerful such a being was, but he doubted it was something he could compare to.
At this moment though the towering figure rose from the depths of what was left of the planet. It's body was composed of the same crystalline material as the pillars, with shifting patterns of blue light running across its surface like flowing rivers.
Its many limbs unfurled, each the size of an entire moon, and its head — or what Alex assumed was its head — just happened to be facing him.
One of the creature's single, massive eyes opened.
Its gaze locked onto Alex.
