Princess Fischl

Chapter 69: 68. Deal.

Chapter 68

The next morning

When Takashi Komuro woke up, the first thing he saw was an unfamiliar ceiling. Getting out of bed, he noticed that he was still wearing his clothes from yesterday, only they were already clean and whole, as if new.

- Looks like she saved me after all, - the guy said with a crooked smile, remembering the nonsense he had been talking in the car while in a semi-delirium due to severe blood loss.

After looking around a bit, in a room that was usually reserved for teenagers, Takashi's gaze fell upon a small mirror, and he immediately headed towards it to check the status.

- Yes, it definitely wasn't without magic, - the guy said, looking at how his indicators were at their peak.

- What if? - Suddenly a thought came to Takashi's mind, which he immediately decided to test. Returning to the bed and taking up meditation in order to feel himself from the inside, he soon achieved results.

In his body, he noticed barely perceptible grains of two energies that were in perfect synergy aimed at healing. Deciding not to miss such an opportunity, Takashi began to try to analyze these Energies in order to subsequently try to appropriate them for himself.

If one of the energies was outrageously simple, showing with all its appearance that it was wind, then the other... it was very similar to holy energy, by association with which the system immediately provided a package of knowledge about clerics, but it quickly became clear that this was not it. This energy, although similar in terms of capabilities, is much more complex, as if it were obtained by mixing other energies.

- I see you've woken up. - the voice of the one who saved him suddenly pulled him out of his meditation.

Change of POV

- I see you're awake, - I said, looking at the guy who was sitting on the bed with his eyes closed, however, as soon as I spoke, he opened them.

"Good morning, Gojo-san," the guy greeted me as he got out of bed, and then suddenly bowed 90 degrees.

- Thank you for saving me and I apologize for my words yesterday. If I can help you in any way, I will do everything to the best of my ability.

- Oh. - To be honest, I was surprised that he immediately thanked me and apologized, after all, his words yesterday managed to spoil my impression of him, but it looks like Oz was right and Takashi was just not himself.

- To be honest, I'm not sure how you can help me, and let's do it without these ranks and such. Call me Fischl or Amy. - I said.

- I understand. Then you can just call me Takashi. - the guy accepted. - As for help, maybe as a combat unit, I won't be able to help, but in terms of knowledge, everything is a little different, as you noticed yesterday, I really do have a system and it is something like a huge library of knowledge.

- A library of knowledge?! - I exclaimed joyfully, thinking at the same time. - "This is exactly what I need!"

"Yes," Takashi confirmed, slightly surprised by my reaction.

- Well, well, well, wait a second. - I said excitedly and turned to the system. - "Sis, rune magic, if I learn it, will I be able to use it?"

- [As a rule, runes are associated with certain mythologies, for this reason, in worlds where there are no corresponding beliefs, runes should not work, however, this will not affect you, since you are the bearer of your own world and having learned a certain type of magic, it will become available for study by the inhabitants of your world, that is, you yourself will become the bearer of a specific magic.]

- Excellent! - I exclaimed happily and looked at the guy who was looking at my behavior with a raised eyebrow. - Can you teach me Asgardian rune magic? If possible, then ideally these should be the original runes.

- Rune magic, huh? - Takashi said, briefly withdrawing into himself, and a minute later, as if waking up, he continued, slightly grimacing in pain. - I can teach rune magic, but with the original ones, it won't work, you either need to receive them as a gift from Odin himself, or go through a completely identical ritual to him.

- I see. - I was slightly upset, realizing that I would not get another imbalance in my arsenal. - But even so, this will be enough. Teach me rune magic and we will consider ourselves even.

- There is another problem here. - Takashi spoke, and I couldn't help but sigh, realizing that everything couldn't be that simple. - At the moment, although I am trained, I am an ordinary person, so in order for me to teach magic, I need to be able to use it myself.

- And? What do you need? - I asked, although I was almost sure that the guy was lying a little, but I think if it's not something excessive, then I can help.

- I need energy in order to undergo initiation and be able to use magic.

- Energy? That's all? - Realizing the essence of his problem, I stretched my hand forward, palm up, and formed a small ball of pure anemo energy. - Will this energy do?

Coming closer and carefully examining, and even poking at the energy I had shown, the guy finally said, "It'll do. However, it will require much more energy."

- Quantity is not a problem, the main thing is not to be greedy, I don't want you to die so stupidly in pursuit of power. – I answered, giving a small warning.

- I am a craftsman. Although extra strength will not be unnecessary, I am not interested in mindlessly chasing it.

- Okay. In that case, prepare everything you need, and I'll go zombie hunting for the next 4 hours. - I said, dispersing the ball of anemo energy.

- Okay, but for this I will need some things.

- This building is right across from the shopping center. I cleared out the zombies in the immediate area last night, so you can safely go there. There should be what you need there, right? - I asked.

"Yes," the guy nodded.

- Okay, oh yeah. I left the weapon I created in the living room, so in an emergency, while I'm gone, I think you'll be able to defend yourself.

- Weapons? - Takashi asked again.

- Yes. 2 Glock 17s and magazines with ammo for them, and also slightly improved Saeko's bokken so that she could use it as a full-fledged katana.

- Same as with those homemade spears? - the guy guessed.

- Right on target, - I confirmed with a smile.

- By the way, two girls burning with curiosity are waiting for you in the kitchen, so hurry up. - Having said this, I left the room, planning to devote a little time to exterminating zombies.
