Quirkless Hero

Chapter 225: Chapter 225: The Foreseen Future

Although he was delayed a little, Mineta's sticky balls didn't cause Midoriya much trouble. By the time he reached the giant crater, he saw that All Might had already freed himself from the steel wires.

"Hah. You guys actually managed to save All Might? Guess you're not completely useless after all."

He looked down on the enemies who had committed countless crimes, now cowering behind All Might in fear. They had done so many terrible things, yet now they were begging the "Symbol of Peace" to protect them. It was disgusting.

"Midoriya Izuku!"

All Might was furious. Meanwhile, the heavily injured Togata Mirio was being supported by Tamaki Amajiki and Hado Nejire, both upperclassmen who had come along with Class A.

To prevent accidents, U.A. had strictly forbidden students from leaving the dorms. They even had Hado Nejire and Tamaki Amajiki watch over Class A. The school had prepared thoroughly for this, but unfortunately, the guards had already been bribed.

Hado Nejire and Tamaki Amajiki had secretly worked with Class A to sneak out. Since Togata Mirio was determined to fight, his two close friends couldn't help but worry.

While Class A had been stopping Midoriya, Tamaki and Nejire had rushed to the crater, where they found All Might and the wounded Mirio.

"All Might, are you really going to protect these criminals and fight me?"

Midoriya pointed at the trembling group of enemies huddled behind All Might. They didn't even dare to look him in the eye—after all, the ones who had been brave enough to resist were already lying dead in a pile.

"I don't care what your reason is. Right now, I just want to beat you up!"

"…Well, I guess that's an acceptable answer."

Seeing Mirio's badly injured state only made All Might even angrier. But Midoriya didn't argue.

After all, even he knew that what he had done would make All Might furious.

"Then take your punishment!"

All Might, consumed by rage, charged at Midoriya Izuku with a punch powerful enough to destroy everything in its path. But this time, Midoriya didn't rely on restraints or defensive moves—it was time for a head-on fight.

He raised his arms to block All Might's punch, but the sheer force still sent his entire body flying. The buildings of Tokyo once again suffered the impact of All Might's strength as Midoriya crashed straight through another skyscraper.

"Yeah… taking a hit head-on still hurts like hell..."

Climbing out of the rubble, Midoriya rubbed his sore arm. Just then, All Might landed in front of him with such force that the ground cracked beneath his feet.

"Midoriya Izuku… do you realize? The way you're acting right now—it's exactly like the man I hate the most… Is that why he chose you as his successor?!"

"Is that what you think…?"

Hearing All Might's words, Midoriya's expression darkened. With a flick of his right hand, several steel wires wrapped around All Might's left leg. With a powerful swing, he hurled All Might into the distance, smashing him through a residential building. Then, without hesitation, he swung again, sending All Might crashing through multiple structures one after another.

"Carolina Smash!"

With his arms still free, All Might crossed his hands in a sharp motion, slicing through the wires around his leg. As he fell, he stomped on a nearby clock tower for leverage, shattering it under his weight. Using the force, he propelled himself toward Midoriya like a missile.

"Missouri Smash!"

Midoriya prepared to use his wires again to restrain All Might, but he was just a fraction of a second too slow. All Might closed the distance in an instant, his right hand forming a knife strike aimed straight at Midoriya's neck.

If he didn't stop using his wires, he risked being knocked out from a direct hit. Recognizing All Might's intent, Midoriya blocked the strike with his left arm and grabbed All Might's right arm with his right hand, attempting to throw him away.

"Oklahoma Smash!"

But Midoriya still lacked experience in close combat. All Might swiftly changed his move—grabbing Midoriya's left arm instead. With overwhelming strength, he lifted Midoriya off the ground and spun him at high speed, generating a tornado-like force. Then, using the momentum, he slammed Midoriya into the ground with crushing force.

The impact was so intense that people far away felt the tremors like an earthquake. Midoriya gasped in pain—All Might's attack had done real damage.

"Detroit Smash!!"

As All Might prepared to land a finishing blow on the defenseless Midoriya, he suddenly realized he couldn't move.

At some point, wires had wrapped tightly around his entire body, completely restraining him.

"Close combat isn't just your specialty, All Might."

Midoriya pushed himself up from the ground. The moment All Might had grabbed him to perform that tornado slam, he had already set the trap. Now, even All Might couldn't break free.

"Damn it… Midoriya Izuku!"

"Just watch… I'll clean up this trash from society."

Midoriya stepped toward his final target, his face void of emotion. No words of friendship or love could change his mind—this wasn't some third-rate anime with a predictable ending.

Hado Nejire and Tamaki Amajiki tried to stop him, but they, too, were caught in his steel wires, bound and suspended off to the side. Midoriya had no time to waste playing games with heroes anymore.

Finally, he stood before his remaining enemies—their faces filled with despair. His wires began their final task.

"If you want to blame someone, blame yourselves for doing things you can't take back."

As the ground was stained red with blood, Midoriya turned around. All Might's transformation had run out—he had reverted to his weakened state.

"All Might..."

Togata Mirio had regained consciousness, but he was too injured to fight. There was no one left who could stop Midoriya.

With a casual wave of his hand, the steel wire network spread across Tokyo activated. Every unworthy pro hero—those who failed their duty—was lifted into the air, bound and helpless. Even the wires restraining All Might vanished—there was no need to keep him tied up anymore. He wasn't a threat.

"All Might, do you have anything left to say?"

Midoriya slowly approached All Might, his voice carrying a mix of mockery and indifference.

"This… is the future that Nighteye saw…?"

All Might fell to his knees, helpless. His face showed nothing but regret. Everything had come true.
