Rebirth in Journey to the West: Sun Wukong

There were no signs of fighting in the corridor, and the three of the Kun Yang Sage King did not expect any hidden formations and prohibitions there. Eager to catch up with the trio of Sun Wukong, they rushed into the corridor without checking it themselves.

A very faint sound echoed, and the expressions of the three changed suddenly because multiple powerful forces of destruction appeared around them, striking towards the three of them.

It's a prohibition!

Leng Xuan's face held more sternness. He, like Sun Wukong, never showed any mercy towards enemies. The three of Kun Yang Sage King were obviously trying to snatch the treasures in this palace, clearly enemies, not friends. Such guys deserve to be as miserable as possible; he wouldn't have an ounce of cheap sympathy.

"Alright, no need to bother with them. Those prohibitions are enough to keep them busy for a while; even if they pass through, they won't come out unscathed. Let's keep moving!"

Sun Wukong urged as he led the way into the main hall.

The main hall behind the corridor wasn't too large, but it appeared quite empty because, except for pillars engraved with various mysterious patterns, there was almost nothing else.

At the front of the hall was a staircase with about a dozen levels, not very high, and apart from that, no other exits could be seen.

The trio of Sun Wukong carefully crossed the hall and ascended the steps, encountering no further attacks or any formations and prohibitions. However, the expressions on their faces did not show any relief, as two paths appeared before them!

Atop the stairs were two doors, and Sun Wukong and the others did not recognize the patterns on them, and there were no hints around. But it's obvious they must choose one of the doors to enter and move forward.

Now the question is, which door to choose?

"Boss, look, the pattern on this door has a sense of peace, I think it should be the Life Gate. The pattern on that door is full of murderous aura, it should be the Death Gate. I suggest going through the Life Gate on the left!"

Luo Bai spoke after pacing in front of the two doors, stroking his chin.

Sun Wukong nodded, then a playful smile appeared on his lips, "But because they're cruel, the treasures in the palace are intact, aren't they?"

"Makes sense!"

Leng Xuan and Luo Bai exchanged glances, suddenly understanding, but then furrowed their brows again, "The treasures are intact, but where are they? We can't find the path to the palace's treasure chamber, stuck here, there's no way to get anything!"

"Who says there's no path?"

Sun Wukong grinned mischievously, focusing the dark golden light from his eyes in the center, revealing a third door on what appeared to be a solid wall.

Unlike the first two doors, the newly revealed third door had no trace of death aura, detectable only because it was unveiled by the Void-Breaking Moon Eyes!

This is the real safe passage!

"Monkey King, you're something else!"

Luo Bai exclaimed joyfully, stepping forward to observe for a while, then pressed the button on the door. Immediately, a subtle mechanical clicking sound occurred, the closed door opened, and the trio of Sun Wukong exchanged glances before entering one by one.

After they entered, the door shut again. Without the golden light from Sun Wukong's Void-Breaking Moon Eyes, the previously revealed door became concealed once more.

Half an hour after the three entered the truly safe Life Gate in the middle, the trio of Kun Yang Sage King from the West Continent Sky Wing Alliance finally made it through multiple prohibitions and formations to reach the hall.
