Rebirth in Journey to the West: Sun Wukong

"Damn it, what kind of hell is this place? Why are there so many Prohibition Formations? We almost got trapped inside!"

The King Goron was covered in bruises, nearly coughing up blood in anger. The Saint King of Chang Geng and the Saint King of Kun Yang weren't much better off, also covered in injuries. As they passed through the corridor passage, they practically triggered every single Prohibition and Restrains Formation. If they weren't powerful masters of the Domain Emperor Realm, they'd surely have been caught!

"It's all because of Sun Wukong and his companions! They must have discovered those Prohibitions and Restraits formations earlier but didn't dismantle them or leave a trace to warn us. Otherwise, we wouldn't have suffered so much grief!"

The Saint King of Chang Geng's face was grim as he harbored endless hatred for Sun Wukong and the others. They were so assured while entering the corridor because everything seemed too calm, and Sun Wukong's group walked ahead without triggering anything, which made it even more infuriating that they kept setting off the formations and almost got buried inside!

"Enough with the nonsense! We wasted enough time in there, Sun Wukong's group must have passed through this hall already! If we delay any further, all the treasures will end up in their hands!"

The Saint King of Kun Yang said with a stern voice.

"He wouldn't dare!"

The King Goron glared, "Even if they collect everything before us, they still have to hand it over! Not just the treasures, I'll have them hand over their lives too! Damn it, no one has ever dared to toy with me like this before, they must pay the price!"

The three of them cursed and cautiously walked through the hall, not daring to be careless in fear of triggering any more Prohibition formations unexpectedly. But this time, they didn't encounter any formations, and safely reached the stairs.

"Look, these two doors haven't been opened for a long time, with dust accumulated at the edges. If Sun Wukong's group entered through one of these doors, shouldn't the dust be on the ground instead of still on the doors?"

The Saint King of Kun Yang pointed to the dust at the edges of the doors. The Saint King of Chang Geng and the King Goron realized the reasoning!

"Kun brother, you have sharp eyes! Then where did they go? There are only these two doors here!"

The Saint King of Chang Geng frowned. Throughout the hall, they've searched thoroughly and these two doors seemed to be the only exit. If not either of these, where is the other passage?

"Look closely at the floor!"

The Saint King of Kun Yang pointed to the wall and floor between the doors, "Although there's a lot of dust, I suspect the real passage is here. It's just camouflaged beyond our sight. Presumably, Sun Wukong discovered it, and the dust fell from the hidden passage door when they entered!"

"Who cares how remarkable he is? If he tries to snatch the treasures from us, we'll deal with him all the same!"

The Saint King of Chang Geng showed a vicious expression on his face, "Kun brother, let them walk ahead for now. We'll follow closely, and once we reach the depths of this palace and find the treasures, we'll strike. With our combined strength, those three recently entered the Domain King Realm youths are no match for us!"

"Hmm, sounds logical! Let's hurry and catch up!"

The Saint King of Kun Yang nodded and first entered the passage, followed closely by the Saint King of Chang Geng and the King Goron. The passage soon returned to its original state.

A boundless sea of lava, amidst which floated slabs of varying sizes. This was the place behind the real Life Gate passage exit, where Sun Wukong, Luo Bai, and Leng Xuan stood on a floating slab, feeling the overwhelming Fire Primordial Force around them, involuntarily swallowing nervously.

"What kind of place is this? Lava Hell?"

Luo Bai couldn't help but complain, "Doesn't the owner of this palace have too many tricks? How many more challenges do we have to go through to find the treasure?"

"Alright, stop complaining, just follow the lead, and be careful not to fall in! The lava here is different from the outside world, containing extremely violent Fire Primordial Force. Falling in would surely mean death!"
