Reborn As A Phoenix With Beast Taming System

While flying in a circle above the city, Ash noticed that the Autumn Wolf Stag was still alive. The stag sent a distress mind wave that can only be detected by other Immortal Beast. Seeing the display of cruelty of those greedy humans, Ash had no choice but to help the Autumn Wolf Stag get out of this predicament.

Ash soared higher to gain more momentum and energy. Once he reached the critical height, he descended with a flap of his wings, accelerating faster and faster until he flew at a hypersonic speed! Faster than any Immortal Beast could handle.

He then flew very low above the ground, only one meter apart to avoid detection from the Pagodas. Ash targeted the ropes and chains that bound the Wolf Stag in place with his Qi enforced wing, slicing through it like a knife through noodles.

The ropes and chains snapped due to the tension, the people were blown away by the sheer force of the wind.

Everybody was in a state of panic after the devastating blow from the violent gust. causing a severe concussion. Several humans who withstood a direct hit were dead due to internal injuries.

"What was that?!" The archers climbed into the battlements in a hurry.

"Look! Another beast! It's an unknown bird type Immortal Beast!"

"Ready the ballista, quickly. It must come to rescue the stag! We can't let the stag get away!"

The commanders of each archer battalion assumed their spot, pointing at the bird type Immortal Beast.

"Ready your aim!"

"Ha!" The archers chanted in unison.

"Release!"

Wary of being shot down by the archers from a distance, His instinct told him that if he soared to the sky, he would be an easy target for the ballistas, hence why Ash zig-zagged across the field to escape the volley of arrows that rained down like a swarm of locusts.

Ash was annoyed by the non-stop hail of arrows, he couldn't get any closer to free the Autumn Wolf Stag from the chains.

When an arrow was about to hit Ash's wing, the stag suddenly released a massive jolt of energy, breaking the remaining ropes and chains that entangled its feet. Creating a violent maelstrom that obliterated the infantrymen in a single attack! As for the archers, they were knocked out due to severe head injuries.

The frontline went silent, even no cricket dared to make a noise when the Autumn Would Stag displayed its full power as a Celestial Rank Immortal Beast!

The Wolf Stag turned to the bird who had freed him from the cursed chains, and thus it spoke telepathically.

"I owe you one, little bird. Now, leave! Before that bastard finished his close seclusion!"

As if being summoned by the Wolf Stag's voice, five enormous energies soared to the sky from within the Pagoda. The energy beams focused into one spot. Afterward, a figure stepped out from the light. Standing high on his Sentient Sword, he looked down with eyes filled with mockery and disdain. A Nascent Soul Cultivator!

His power was so immense, even the housings were about to collapse when he hadn't stabilized his Qi.

Once he did, the mortal humans soon kowtowed in fear, planting their heads before his present. No one even dared to raise their heads, lest they wish to die.

By the time he landed on the battlements, every soldier stepped back, praising his name as if he was a god.

"We greet the Ancestor! Long live, Our Great Lord Tang Fei!"

"General Ming, report!"

One man in a full steel armour stepped frontward, he then briefed Tang Fei what was happening.

"I see. Forget the bird, it's just an Earth Rank Immortal Beast! Not even worthy of my time." Tang Fei turned towards the battlefield below. "Ready the cavalry! We must subdue this hart before dawn!"

"Ha!

Meanwhile, the Autumn Wolf Stag was consumed by his own heart demon. The memories of his mate when she was being brutally murdered by this Cultivator flooded his mind, corrupting the remaining sanity that were left.

The Autumn Wolf Stag was crying, howling in sorrow to the top of his lungs. Before long, the once graceful Immortal Beast now has turned into a demonic amalgamation of Immortal Beast and hellish beings.

"Hmph! I planned to let you live so you could live a century more so you can breed another doe, yet you came knocking on my front door! For what? Avenging your dead wife, is it?! Know your place, you vile beast! I have no choice but to kill you!"

Hearing the heartless remark, the beast roared again, and this time, it was filled with agony, despair, and anguish. As a fellow Immortal Beast, Ash could feel all kinds of emotions that he put into that one last roar before the Autumn Wolf Beast completely lost himself and turned into a Demonic Beast.

"I will kill you all!" The beast launched himself with just a kick to the ground, flying straight toward the cultivator.

What followed next was a total carnage.

In order to exhaust the beast's strength, Tang Fei deliberately sacrificed his soldiers; he couldn't care less about the life of mortals as long as he obtained what he wanted and was raised to power.

After hours of bloody battle, the demonized Wolf Stag was finally showing a hint of exhaustion. Its essence slowly dissolves from the body, revealing the skeleton beneath its skin.

Seeing the golden opportunity, Tang Fei mounted his Sentient Sword, flying at neck-breaking speed and plunged his sword into the Wolf Stag's heart. After which, Tang Fei gouged the beast's heart before it stopped beating. From inside the heart, he harvested the demonized Beast Core, laughing like a maniac.

"Hahaha! Not bad, not bad! As expected, drinking the doe's blood and eating its womb gave so much power! If I can purify this hart's Beast Core, my power would soar higher! With that, I can claim my throne as the Grand Patriarch of Tang Clan!"
