Reborn As A Phoenix With Beast Taming System

The next morning, Ash and Shanguang went to the cave together since the young Ligress couldn't contain her excitement when he accidentally mentioned about the drake at dinner last night.

She climbed the rocky mountain like her own backyard with a pile of meat strapped on her back. Though Ash had offered to carry the meat, the Ligress insisted for some reasons. Ash couldn't say no, he let her do whatever she wished for the day. As a reward for watching the cattles.

The Earth Drake perked her head up when a sound of multiple footsteps echoed in the cave. Before long, a figure of a bird and a hybrid Immortal Beast between Lion and Tiger were walking closer.

"Woahh, she's much bigger than you told me, Master!" The young Ligress quipped nonchalantly.

"Manners!" Ash flicked her forehead softly. A firm yet also less aggressive warning to teach her how to respect other beasts, when it's needed.

Alas, Shanguang's hyperactive behaviour couldn't be easily contained. She was still very young and full of energy after all. She sees every friendly creature as a playmate.

"Hey! My name is Shangguang! The daughter of the mighty Guang Hu!" Shanguang stood on her hind legs in excitement. "What's yours?"

"A name, huh?" The drake was puzzled. "We, drake and dragons, have no name per se. However, I usually go with; Ye Yinghui."

"Ohh!" Shanguang looked at Yinghui's face with sparkly eyes. "You have such a beautiful name! It perfectly fits your shiny golden-brown scales!"

"You too, little Ligress." Yinghui said. She narrowed her eyes which indicates she was sincerely smiling from the inside. "Shanguang… Thousands Tiny Sparkles."

"Anyway, I heard about your leg from, Master! Hence I brought you a whole bunch of meat so you can regrow your legs as soon as possible."

"Though I rarely eat meat, I truly appreciate this gift. My gratitude."

"En!" Shanguang pulled the knot, dropped the package in front of Yinghui. "Now, eat! While the meat is still fresh! I dispatched a whole bull this morning just for you!"

"Thank you…"

Although Yinghui's diet was not necessarily protein based, she gulped one big piece after another. She immediately fell into a blissful state for each bite that went into her belly.

"Mmmhh, The meat is so tender, it's just melted in my mouth. The bones are so crunchy also, and very rich in minerals. Just what I needed for my recovery."

"You will be fully recovered in just a month with this appetite. But of course, eat responsibly. Nutrients balance is more important. Ask me anything you might need for your recovery."

"It's plentiful already. Thank you so much! Master!"

"You've said enough thanks for this morning already. It's not a big deal."

"No!" Yinghui said firmly. "It is a very, very big deal! From today onward, I shall pledge my allegiance to you! My whole body is yours to command, Master!"

The system notification floated in front of him when Yinghui lowered her head.

Her answer was quick, filled with determination. "Even better! I have been yearning to avenge that cowardice brat who ambushed me when I was asleep!"

When the light had entered her forehead, the system chimed cheerfully.

Ash put the transparent screen aside since he could check them for later. For now, he wanted to focus on Yinghui's recovery.

Meanwhile, Yinghui could feel a tiny spark of light had entered her head. She was shocked as the system had been fully integrated with her mind. "What are these bluish, transparent, flat screens?"

"It's our Master's blessings! I don't really know how it works either, but it makes you stronger and grows much faster than normal. Welcome to the family, Sister Yinghui!"

"A phoenix, a Ligress and an Earth Drake. What an odd combination, isn't it?" Yinghui quipped.

"Hehehe." Shanguang giggled gleefully. "And it will grow even larger! Someday, I believe, he will eventually become an Immortal Beast King. No, a Divine Emperor, even."

"If so, he will need a throne, no?" Yinghui said. "Pray tell, Master. Do you wish for a throne adorned with gold and finest gems? Or perhaps, a cave near the Spirit Vein so you could cultivate in peace?"

"Very well. Should I begin now? Yinghui tried to stand on her three legs and was immediately prevented by the phoenix.

"No can do! You must rest, inside my Beast-Taming Space!"

"Beast-Taming Space?" Yinghui was askew. "What is that?"

"Errr, let's say, it's my special domain where I can load my Tamed Beast in to cultivate or to recuperate faster."

Aware that it would be impossible to be understood with just a few words, Ash clicked the button which opened the Pseudo-Dimensional space. The purplish portal swirled elegantly and grew bigger.

"Incredible! You are not a Transcendence Rank Immortal Beast yet you are able to create your own Beast Domain?!"

"Err, it's actually not a Beast Domain, but yeah, you can say so. More importantly, let's get inside first."

"May I come in too?!" The young Ligress fawned, widened her eyes like a kitten who's begging to be fed.

"Of course. But remember! Do not slacking around inside. Or I will make you herding the cattles for the entire week!"
