Fusheng smiled and said to Feilong "Seems like our money bag just walked in here by itself."

Fusheng took a deep breath, whispered to herself "This is it, the very start of your revenge. You have to forget all the conservative teachings you got and be bold."

Feilong looked at her, he heard her whispering and suddenly felt extremely sorry for her. He said trying to lift up her mood "You don't have to be scared, after all you have this venerable one by your side"

Fusheng rolled her eyes and let out a chuckle and said "Yeah right."

Fusheng proceeded to walk towards the Crown prince's entourage, Feilong continued to talk to her to lift her mood "Have you met this crown prince before?"

Fusheng said "I doubt, but I think I have met him, when I was still little." As she said this, she was already very close to the entourage. Feilong made her steps extremely light and made sure the guards did not notice her until she came to the crown prince. 

The Crown prince on the other hand was coming down from his horse, only for him to turn and see a new face right in front of him and as shameful as it was, he was startled and so we're his guards. From the look of things they had not noticed her as well.

Meng Fusheng on seeing that she already had the Crown prince's attention bowed to greet him. Just the previous day, she was stunned by Feilong's appearance and now the Crown prince is looking like this. In her eyes, the crown prince could rival Feilong, no wonder the concubine's daughter was obsessed with him. Feilong's cough interrupted her thoughts and he rolled his eyes in jealousy. Feilong could not believe that the crown prince would be this good looking either.

Coming back to her senses, Fusheng noticed that the Crown prince's guards were about to drag her away, so she bowed again and said "Greetings Crown Prince"

The crown prince found her interesting and waved to his guards to leave her, he felt that she was not a simple girl, giving the fact that neither the guards nor him noticed her coming. The Crown prince then gave her a once-over and noticed that she was not even dressed like the girls he grew up seeing did. Then her face was not all that good with the black spots, but paired up with her extremely bright eyes, she was not bad looking. He was curious as to find out who she was and what she wanted. He nodded at her, giving her a chance to state her mission. He hoped she was not there to flatter him around.

Fusheng took his nod as her cue to speak and she said boldly "I know the crown prince must be confused as to who I am and why I am here. This humble servant wants to first apologize for coming up at you like that, please forgive this humble servant."

The Crown prince nodded and she continued "I am Meng Fusheng, the only legitimate daughter of the Meng Family" She saw the Crown prince's eyes widened by a fraction and she knew that he was genuinely surprised.

The Crown prince was very shocked, he had heard tales about her, he even thinks he had seen her when he was little but he does not have much memory of her. But from the stories passed around, they said that she was hideous. Although the girl in front of him could not be called a devasting beauty, but she was certainly not hideous, she even looked handsome with her dressing and her hair tied up in a ponytail.

Fusheng smiled a little and said "I can see that you have heard about me then"

She had to put Fusheng in her place right in front of the Crown prince and come to think of it what exactly was she even doing outside.

"Older sister, what are you doing outside? And what are you wearing?" Meilan said innocently thinking that Fusheng was still as naive as before. She remembered when ever the bullied Fusheng in the house, she would be the one to play the good guy and this earned Fusheng's trust.

Fusheng looked her dead in the eye and said "Is your brain really filled with water? You just called me your older sister and do not forget that I am the daughter of the Wangfei while you're a concubine's daughter, so what gave you the right to question me in my own house?"

Meilan was so shocked, she did not speak for a while. Fusheng turned back to the Crown prince and said "This is exactly what I am talking about."

She turned to Meilan and said to someone behind her "Ah Wan, here you are, I was thinking about why you did not come to me yesterday and this morning, I was worried, but luckily you were keeping my younger sister company. Oh yes, I said that I would give you a gift for being a good maid right? The Crown prince personally handed them over to Fusheng and said "I really admire your boldness. That is 40,000 Teals, use them to sort your issues."

Fusheng widened her eyes in joy, while Feilong could not believe that her stupid plan worked out. She said "Thank you your highness. I will surely not forget your kindness."

She bowed to him again and said "I will have to take my leave now, I hope we meet some other time."

The Crown prince nodded and said "Then till next time "

And just like that, even before Meilan could understand what was going, Fusheng had already walked away, with the crown staring at her back. Meilan could not believe what was happening. Just as she tried to turn the situation of the Crown prince back to her, the Crown prince gestured to his Eunuch and he started walking to his horse. The Eunuch turned to Meilan and said "Young Miss, the Crown prince is already tired and wants to return to the palace, so if you do not mind."

Meilan could not believe that the Crown prince just snubbed her, but she recollected herself and said "Yes of course, Meilan does not mind. I hope the Crown prince can rest and take care of his health." She bowed at the Eunuch, she swears that she will kill Meng Fusheng.
